ITA. Hope gets all the slack and I dont see why. If yu yourself were in her shoes you would see differently. It has been Steffy who constantly goes after unavailable men. I don;t like her character, she has no morals, everythings about sex with her. She even for a while held that over Hopes head, that she could give sex to Liam and because Hopes morals she couldnt. I think its a shame that Hope had to cave her morals because of peer pressure from Steffy. Point is Liam loves Hope, Steffy is always second choice to him.

Hope did not break up Steffy and Liam's marriage. Steffy did that all on her own with her manipulations, insecurities and lies. Even Steffy admitted that. When Hope moved in and slept with Liam it was at Liam's request because he had already said he was in love with Hope and did not wish to be married to Steffy any longer. This was after the Cabo incident.

When Liam decided and told Hope that he wanted to stay married to Steffy after their quick marriage in Aspen she respected their marriage and left Liam alone. She left him alone until Liam started pursuing Hope again.[/quote]

I believe that Liam should never have married Steffy to begin with.....I put the bulk of the blame on Liam. Liam is so reactive to any trauma in his relationships, that he jumps to the other girl. I've said this all along, and I believe if Liam was so in love with Hope, whatever manipulations Steffy would have done, Liam wouldn't have budged and put Steffy in her place. He never did, or if he did defend Hope, it was really pretty lame.

Steffy was insecure, with good reason....because when Liam is with one, he wants the other. Liam was just looking for a way out. It then was all reversed when Steffy gave him the divorce, he was all into Steffy again, but torn! When they were in Cabo, Steffy was preoccupied with keeping the two of them apart....but Liam was dreaming about Hope, more at that time...he just needed Steffy to make an error, than he could make his move again with Hope. He is never satisfied with just one of them. He brings out the worst in them, in how they deal with relationships. Neither one has had a really good one yet.

Steffy isn't a tramp as she is misled to believe that Liam wants and loves her. He has given Steffy plenty of encouragement for her to feel that way.

I also don't believe that Hope left Liam and Steffy alone, totally when they were married. She had several opportunities to hug him, and say she loved him. I think Hope gave as much space to them, has Steffy gave to their engagement. Difference is, Liam and Steffy were married, Steffy never interfered with the marriage, because it just happened. So, whatever happens now, will be telling. I think if Liam ever really told Steffy or Hope that he was through with them and meant it, I would think they would be wise enough to not make arses of themselves.[/quote]

I don't even think at this point any of us should be rehashing what happened in the past because we obviously (not meaning just you and me), but whoever's side you are on could discuss back and forth and never get any place. I agree Liam is at the root of everything between both girls. What happens in the future is what is important and that is all on Liam.

You are right, rehashing doesn't get us anywhere, lol! I do feel strongly about my first paragraph, about Liam and his idiotic ways, and reacting so quickly to things, instead of working them out, or taking a step back, before making a quick decision based on no facts.

I don't call either girl a tramp! What they are doing or have done, isn't as bad as some of them have done. Steffy has flirted and propositioned some unavailable men....but she was shot down. The only two guys that she had a chance with was Bill and Liam. Oliver and Owen stuck to their feelings for their significant others. Bill didn't happen, but it was a close call. I also believe that Steffy was in a different place, at that time. My feelings is that she has grown up a bit. Yes, if they slept together in Italy, that disappoints me. Hope, also should have waited till the divorce was final, until she made her move to live with Liam. She owed that to herself. I think she would have been better prepared, if she didn't feel or have people suggesting that she sleep with Liam. She made the choice, and it didn't do her any good.

I probably wouldn't have even responded to this thread, but I saw what you posted, and I think you are pretty rational, even though we may differ a bit on our characters, so I enjoy posting with you

Thank you saclean and I feel the same way about posting with you. We may be on different sides, but I enjoy posting with people who at least listen to what you have to say and we can have a friendly discussion back and forth. We may disagree on certain points, but also very often agree on others. We certainly agree on Liam.

I think both Hope and Steffy really love Liam, I think Steffy did lose Liam because of her manipulation. I think she learned from that experience and has changed. I think it is unfortunate that the writers have set them up against each other and I would love to see them show Liam politely out the door.

Hope and Steffy could make up, by out Jackie's line and go into business together. Can you imagine the story line - in competition with FC, or maybe they could take on Beauty of Nature on Y&R (if they create a cosmetics line).

Whatever, the women of today are not mortal enemies over men - we get along we go into business together. Anyway just a thought.
