The Bold and the Beautiful - MESSAGE BOARDS

You can come on here and feel so down and upset about what you're facing and dealing with in reality, but there's always some post that makes you want to fight back and argue about a fictional show. It makes you forget about all of the problems that come with living, that you can do nothing about, and focus on something else for a change. And it makes you fight even if you are fighting for the wrong thing, so thanks everyone.

It's always nice to have a diversion and escape, especially one where you remember everything when you wake up, and you don't die in the process.

Another aspect I love about this MB are all the imaginative, innovative, and creative ways the female members "trash talk" the unlikeable characters in the B&B. Especially so with the "I Hate Hope" thread.

The seething venom being written about, in the comments threads, are very amusing, indeed. (chuckle)

Even though I'm a Steffy fan I can agree. I haven't got my place in the MB family but it feels good at times even if I don't always post but to read the funny things that are said or interesting threads when I haven't had a good day or even if my day was good I still like to read what's going on when I'm on the board and even though some posters might know each other and some don't I notice how both fan bases have their fellow board members back when things go on and it's cool.

Smiley, we all need that distraction from real life every now and then, and dabbling in reel life on message boards is a fun form of entertainment and a way to not focus on matters we need and want to forget about for a while. I guess you could say we’re relieving some of the stress and pressures of life by typing out our frustrations. You can sometimes get so caught up in posting, that you not only forget about life’s woes, but also completely lose track of time.

I hope things are looking up for you very soon, and it’s always great posting with you.

I was actually drinking when I created this thread, and I kept obsessing over some things that are going on and so I got on here and forgot all about it almost immediately, and this was my thank you to everyone for the escape. It worked great!!

And MsLady, it looks like you're becoming part of the family in the Steffy fanbase And I'd say we're all part of the soaps family, since not as many people watch these days. Even if we don't all agree and have different favorites on B&B, I bet those who watch other soaps, like Y&R and GH, can find favorites in common on those soaps, or I would think, anyway.

I like it because sometimes its more fun/exciting than the show itself.
