I think Deacon is going to use Ellison so he won't have to go back to prison. She will do this by threatening to expose the whole masquerade.

Deacon's best revenge would be to go after Steffy, after all, we all know that the only reason Bill is he*l bent on Steffy being with Liam is because he can't be. What a beautiful, twisted story it would be to see Deacon go after Steffy!!
