Sorry. KKL doesnt throw fits. She's a class act and has no ego or power about the show. She acts the scripts and that's it. Dont you think she would have drawn the line with say the Oliver thing? No she has never dictated s/l. SF has when she didnt like the rape s/l she asked hat they make Stephanie less responsible. |

I don't know if we can quote other sights, but I have read the same thing and the article specifically mentioned a female star of B&B as the person who threw the fit and Deacon's role was downsized from a much longer run to less than 10 days onscreen. I am not discounting anyone's sources on here at all, but personally I do find it strange that anyone on the show would not welcome a character who might bring some conflict and drama with him, and create an interesting story line that would hold the viewers' attention. I was not around during the Deacon/Brooke story, but I thought he had a history with Amber, too. Or maybe that was only on Y&R, but that would add some more zing, considering that Amber has her sights set on Rick. |

We might look at it great drama with Brooke & Decaon hooking up, but KKL made it CLEAR she did not want to go there. To the poster who brought up Oliver, it doesn't apply because KKL also refused to do the Thomas & berries SL, you see they DID have sex buthad to change that one to. For the record, that is not a rumor, KKL said it herself in an interview. |

Actors can throw fits, but they are under contract. They can't just pick up and leave. Obviously, Deacon is only on for 10 epis. because that is s/l dictated. Maybe he can only come on for 10 and has other contract obligations. That makes more sense than actors throwing fits. Just saying... |

I hear what you're saying, but, take the girl who played Victoria in the first two movies of Twilight, she was incredibly upset she couldn't be in Eclipse and they had to recast, but she was under contract for another movie, and her schedules were in conflict. I read somewhere that STILL was dead because Ronn Moss was having a fit, but I don't know that he holds that kind of power. Peter Reckell - a long time actor at Days and Eileen Davidson at Y&R are being let go, and they're both veterans. So, I just think its all contract and s/l driven and not another actor having a fit. JMO. |

I read that both Ronn Moss and KKL wanted to keep their relationship intact. I think all situations are different.....there could be many reasons why things change...it could be actors, s/l, directors. Nothing is for sure and it seems that things can change at the drop of a hat! |
