If he's a bad fictional devil, he's got a long way to go to beat John Milton!!!  Beside, I have the REAL devil living down the street from me!

This isn't Passions so I don't think he is the devil. A sociopath? Yes. The Devil? No. Passions...now THAT was one soap opera that was way out there in the ozone layer! LOL Oh, what soap was it that the character Marlena was possessed by the devil? My mom and I laughed our butts off over that one!

That was over the top! Did you watch Dark Shadows? My children watched that show every afternoon after school. Didn't miss an episode. |

 I will say however, his POV on Liam's relationships, future, and happiness are very practical, insightful, and in most cases, dead on.......  Is he the devil?......not by a longshot, just a little full of himself......it will come back to bite him in the butt one day soon........ I can't see how anyone finds him entertaining. He disgusts me. I loved him as Brad on Y&R. These jokes of so called writers have ruined another character. If they were going for a Victor Newman wannabe they have failed. Victor at least shows himself actually working in various ventures. Bill is only shown meddling in his son's life who is suppose to be able to make a decision. Of course that is not the case either. Bill may not be the devil, but he is one sick individual. At least as a character, he is most entertaining.......  |

It is obvious that he is a very evil man on the show now and would like to hurt Hope. Right now, Dollar Bill and Steffy are the only two reasons that I watch this show. Bill Spenser is the smartest male character on the show and the fact that he has a little devil in him, it makes him much more compelling. In fact, the most attractive and compelling male figure that has been on this show is years and years. I love him. I think that he nailed the HOG and her pigs and he knows Taylor and her children and family. Bill is smart. Smart enough not to be taken advantage of by a bunch of valley tramps and surely not stupid enough to let any of them take over his son or his company. If you ask me, without Bill Spenser on this show, it wouldn't even be worth the time to turn it on everyday. |
