Quote grandpadanucci:
Quote Magniloquentia: Interesting line of thinking, to say the least.

The facts are:
Liam married Steffy because he wanted to.
Liam told Steffy he loved her because he wanted to.
Liam ran back to Steffy at the first sign of trouble.
Liam proclaimed that he loved both Steffy and Dope - clearly he's confused.
If any mother on this show could train a daughter in the finer points of prostitution, it's Brooke. She has no skills other than those located in her underwear, no education, no morals and certainly no personality.
To attempt to justify Liam sleeping with his ex-girlfriend by claiming "truer" love than the love he has for his wife is an act of sheer desperation.
Anyone with any sense of right and wrong realized it's immoral to have sexual relations outside the marriage. Dope and Liam are both guilty - Liam as the married person and Dope as the willing (and will full knowledge of his situation) partner.
Is this that difficult a concept to grasp?
With all due respect, this is a hate Steffy thread and most of what you brought up above, has nothing to do with it. Brooke is a deflection and so is Liam and Hope! Thank you for posting.

Since we are talking Steffy, let me comment....

Point #1, he married Steffy b/c he was on the rebound and she was so available to propose to. She was stalking Liam as she wanted him away from Hope and for herself. You must know that Steffy was luring Liam while he was engaged to Hope. Due to this hasty rebound situation, they are not together (as expected in rebound situations).

Point #2, for the longest time, Liam never actually told Steffy "I love you" and we wondered about that! It was late in the game, when he told Katie he loved both women and then he said he loves Steffy, he has never said, he is in love with her! Two different scenarios! I love many women in my life, but am I in love with them? NO! I am only in love with one woman, my wife.

Point #3, Liam does run back to Steffy during times of trouble, b/c she is again so available to receive it. She is at his face...she is obsessed with Liam & Hope's relationship! She absolutely wants him back, so anything and everything at this time to get him back is okay with her, even if it means getting together with Liam and badmouthing Hope, which she is extremely good at!

Point #4, Liam did declare he loves both women, but he wants to spend his life with Hope and clearly told his father, he does not want to be married Steffy! That's the difference in the love he has for both women.

As far as the other points, Brooke is not in the equation so in fairness and respect to the OP, I will refrain from commenting on all the other questions irrelevant to the topic.

Finally, I have the same question for you....is this that difficult a concept to grasp?
Thank you Mag and happy posting!
Thanks for the reply. However, my point stands. In response to points 1-4, the answers remain "because he wanted to". You cannot change the fact that Liam acted/said these things because he wanted to. His choice.

Trying to justify or "explain" his reasoning is pointless and rather silly, if you don't mind my saying so.

He married, declared his love and ran back to Steffy because he wanted to. Nobody forced him to do these things.

It's called personal responsibility. Part of the problems this country faces today stem from people attempting to justify their bad behavior with weak excuse after weak excuse. Just like Hope taking more and more drugs, procuring them illegally is another example of out of control immaturity. There is no justification for this behavior. No one is forcing these people to do the things they're doing. I can't make it much simpler than that.

And although I'm new, I thought the thread title "no bashing" had to be in place if other opinions weren't wanted. I simply read "hate Steffy" and thought I was free to post here. Perhaps there's another guideline I'm not aware of?

Hope did not procure the drugs illegally! She assumed that Dr. Barton changed her mind and prescribed more while she was out of the office. As far as Hope knows, the drugs are legit. Amber is going to be in deep doodoo when this all comes out.

I realize that this is the "allegation". However, nobody over the age of 12 is as naive as the viewer is assumed to be regarding this. Having some experience in prescribed medications, anyone with an active brain stem knows to ask before assuming.

No, Hope didn't get the drugs illegally, and since I'm not part of the world of rich and famous, unfortunately, I can't say I know how it works with them.

Perhaps I should have said "procuring illegal drugs". Nevertheless, she's taking illegal drugs. And as for her supposed "innocence", I'll go back to my previous mention of personal responsibility. Even assuming the very best, she isn't so stupid she doesn't suspect something's mighty funny about the way these pills make her feel. Even the lowest IQ would question somebody or say something about the different feeling between these and the original pills. Hope is actively HIDING the difference, therefore she knows darn well there's something not quite right about this. But, true to form, she LIKES the way she feels and that's all that matters in her world.

Hence, I'll reiterate my contention that she is absolutely culpable in this drug deal, guilty as sin in fornicating with a married man and wracked with shame because of it. A pitiful creature indeed.

Still hate Steffy and that is my opinion. Hope is taking these pills I will not deny that. Steffy has made it her mission to hurt Hope because of her Daddy issues which IMO is malicious. Hope is hurting only herself by taking these pills. No need to rehash story line, as you see it from your perspective and I see it from mine. Let's say we agree to disagree. Sorry but Steffy is NO saint and/or better than Hope.

JMW is a marvelous actress. So, Bell knows when he has a good thing. Steffy went to Paris because JMW was filming a movie. However, Bell do need to send Hope to a Rehab hospital. Preferrably, far away, as we would want the press to get a hold of that little tid bit. You know her being a druggie and all.
