    THE PART OF HOPE NEEDS TO BE RECAST (no fans)

    Many posters on all soap boards have called for recast when a particular character is just not working. Not working means that we are left feeling indifferent and bored to tears whenever they are on. Often praying for commercials!
    It happened on AMC with the character Greennlee.

    I think the character of Hope needs a new actress DESPERATELY.

    P.S.
    The new (old) Rick is not working either and I LOVED him as JR Chandler! So it isn't always that the actor is bad, it is just the wrong part for them and can be played better with a recast.

    I am with you all the way, especially with Rick, I like him when he was on the show years ago.

    Now, Hope I have tired to get good take on her, when I am warming up to her something seems to justing missing.

    I am leaning more and more towards a recast for Hope.

    If the writers want to keep writing the character of Hope this way, they need a different actress who would better fit the part. Even when Hope is mixed in with other seasoned veterans it doesn't work.

    And I get what you are saying about Rick. Like I said on the other thread, I was looking forward to him returning because I enjoyed his younger days with Amber. Now that he is back, I find myself missing KL.

    KM is on fire....So much genuine emotion from people, now that is the sign of a great actress.

    The writers know if we are not fazed by an actor, or don't gel with them we dont even bother with them, we dont talk about them, because we just dont care.

    No Hope or Steffy fan....It is about what we see through our creative eyes and just voicing our opinion.

    Do we really need another thread bashing an actress. Where is the mods, this has become a free for all attack against a real person. This is pathetic! It's Christmas and all yall want to do is insult people. I am disgusted and hope the mods stop these horrible threads. Just sad and pitiful.
