Brooke as always; in character; was there for Ridge. She supported him and helped him in every way humanly possible. Ridge ; true to his character has turned on her again. Stephanie charging in to attack mode from the first moment there was a call. Brooke should have left him in jail and found a loop hole to put his mother in the same cell.; where Stephanie; true to her character could continue to baby her first born and protect him from the hoodlums behind bars. Rick was right in wanting Ridge to stay in jail to protect his mother. Ridge is never true to anyone; except Ridge! I am waiting for the day that Brooke finds out it was Ashley that slept with her son and she blows Ridges perfect world into oblivion; after rubbing it into Mother Theresa's (Stephanie) face that the woman that was so perfect for her favorite son isn't perfect either!

Brooke didnt' do anything spectacular. Rick could have been talked to without her permission. He is an adult.
Brooke has screwed up the family more than helped it. Remember, they gave her the job that she loves so much. She used to be a server for a catering service.
She owes the Forresters something.
In fact, she was so selfish that when Eric divorced her, after she cheated on him with Ridge, that she took over his company.
That is keeping in character for Brooke.

Brooke got through to Stephanie when she kidnapped her. Brooke convinced Stephanie to have Ridge come back from Paris and tell the TRUTH (Which Stephanie always uses to suit her purposes)about Shane's death. Brooke had concerns about Rick reliving his shooting Grant and rightfully so after all he was about 11 when it happened and blocked it out and she did not want him to be traumatized all over again by the situation and tried to approach him with Taylor's help ( a lot of help she was!)and Rick did testify even though he faked it for his own purposes...and this is the thanks she got for this. As they say : NO GOOD DEED GOES UNPUNISHED! and how was she paid back for helping: Dominatrix Stephanie got her kids taken from her and Ridge just wimped out and ran to another woman with Stephanie's aprroval as usual. Hindsight being 20/20 Brooke should have let Ridge rot in jail. But knowing Stephanie she would have tried to break him out and blamed Brooke for this as always.

I agree. should've let him rot..throw mommy in there with him.
