I haven’t had the chance to read all the post yet but here are my thoughts as a Taylor Fan:

Of course she isn’t a saint and I think most of her fans would say that. Taylor like everyone else on the show has made her fair share of mistakes but what separates Taylor from others on the show is that she seems to pay dearly for her mistakes. I have never seen anyone pat her on the head and say oh that is just a silly mistake. She paid dearly (Ridge leaving her) for her one nightstand with James….something she could have kept to herself but came clean with on her own. She paid dearly for having a relationship with her daughter’s ex and was just mending her relationship with Phoebe when she died. She paid dearly for trying to help a stranded Phoebe, accidently killing her close friend…something else she came forward with on her own (she could have kept quiet and the case would have been closed). She lost years of her life and her children’s lives by trying to help Brooke and evil Sheila. She even lost her chance at happiness with Nick after going to hell to give him a kid (only for the Logans to interfere again with ‘mistakes’ and ‘anyone but Taylor’ slogans). She has battled her way back from alcoholism and is managing well on her own. She made mistakes about her stock in FC (giving it all to Steffy) in perhaps one of the few spontaneous things she has done and boy did Thomas not let her forget it. But she handled it like a pro. She was over the top in her objections to Taboo and it almost ruined her relationship with Thomas….but again she has learned from that and has taken a much calmer approach to her kids these days. When she realized Steffy was involved with a married man she didn’t look the other way or encourage it like some parents have….she did what she felt was right and put an end to it. Yep you are right Taylor is no saint but compared to others on the show, she is the one that shows the most compassion for others and often tries to do the right thing.

BTW if we are to compare addictions I would say Taylor’s was much better written and played out than the one with Hope. If TPTB are going to do something like this then they need to do it right! In Taylor’s situation we saw her hit rock bottom, be held accountable for her actions and then fight to get back on track. I highly doubt we’ll see any of that with Hope, especially the part about being held accountable.

That was an accident, because Taylor was trying to get to her daughter. Brook almost kill Macy, running her down to sign divorse papers, I don't know which is worst. A woman who was loosing her mind because Brook broke up her marriage. Or the same woman Brook, who was breaking up another womans marriage Macy, and almost lost her mind in the process and almost died.

If it was an accident, she would have reported it. But, no she listened to Stephanie and kept it hidden. So, it was no accident.

She accidentally kill Darla, and she accidentally slept with her daughter's boyfriend, and killed her ACCIDENTALLY lots of accidents, if you ask me...

She did sleep with her daughter's boy friend.

Can you believe Taylor slept with the boy Phoebe had been in love with all those years and the boy who stole Steffy's virginity?

What I still can't figure out is that she could not love a baby she had carried in her own womb for 9 months because it was Brooke's egg.

She sure wanted Brooke's son in her bed every night, pleasing her, after breaking her virginal daughter in for other men. That is what I call SICK.

Poor baby Jack. She couldn't even rock him, couldn't sing to him and couldn't love him. How can anyone not love a tiny little baby? I know who! Dr. Taylor Hayes, thats who.

No, Taylor isn't a Saint. Maybe that is why Steffy is
    so mean and vendictive.

Taylor isn't the one who wanted what the other has. The other wanted what Taylor had and that is why the other kept trying to interfere in Taylors marriage. I agree 100% that Taylor is no saint. Taylor slept with Phoebe's first love, but Phoebe gave her blessing. Taylor slept with Rick before Phoebe died. Rick used and slept with Steffy after Phoebe died. So Taylor wasn't sleeping with a man who took her daughter's virginity. Taylor slept with Ridge, but did not sleep with Eric, she probably would have, but realized she couldn't do that to her best friend. A certain someone slept with Eric and Ridge before they knew they were not bio father and son. Eric and Ridge were father and son for their entire lives until Marone came on to the scene. To this day they call each other father and son, just because they aren't related by blood doesnt make them any less so. Taylor did not bang Rick up against a wall and try and keep it a secret from everyone. They were open about their relationship. Taylor did pay for accidentally killing Darla, she was shunned by everyone and was in jail for a while. She took responsibility for drinking and driving and doesn't drink anymore. Taylor had a great storyline with the drinking, but Hope doesn't. Neither Hope not Taylor can blame anyone else for their failures, it is each of their fault. Taylor turned her life around. We will have to wait to see if Hope does. I don't know why Taylor couldn't love Jack either. Maybe it was the one area of her life where a certain person wasn't involved. What can I say, she must have had a mental break because her life was invaded once again by a certain person. Taylor was accidentally given the fantasy making berries, so she couldn't control what her fantasy was. So no Taylor is no saint, but she pays the price for all of her mistakes.
