i love it when ridge told brooke if she walks out that door he'll have to move on and let their dream die. i hope it's for real this time. he and ashely would make a good couple. i hope nick stick to his guns and stays with taylor. brooke should be alone. i hope ashely and ridge will be the next bold and the beautiful supercouple i'm happy today. now all i need is that nick is at marone industries and he finds out that jackie lied once again. eric and stephanie and all the forresters back at forrester creations and jackie, donna, pam and ann go back to where they come from. but i'll happy with out ridge told brooke. i 'm glad he didn't look back

I was proud of him too...he needs to get off of the Brooke merry go round and find out what he wants and needs minus Brooke being the automatic answer. I hope he means it this time, though.

I use to be a diehard Brook and Ridge fan. Even I am over them. I love him with Ashly. After her runnig to Nick straight from the plane she lost points with me big time.
Brokke needs to be alone.

why is everyone picking on brooke if sephanie had left brooke and ridge alone a long time ago they would have played out.

also you people must not have watched this soap long because brooke had moved on she was engaged to dr warwick when taylor slept with him also she was ridge's first wife caroline doctor when she set her sights on ridge before she died so don't pretend taylor is a saint shes not

i doubt if ashley and ridge will be the new couple she is in love with rick also you people need to stop hating on brooke she could not have done what she did by herself take eric for example he went after her and he went after taylor so don't get it twisted

Taylor is far from a saint! But Stephanie is not the big bad wolf! Yes, she is manipulative but if Ridge had stood his ground all those years, Stephanie would have been never a problem! Brooke needs to be with a man!

You know I used to really like both Brooke and Ridge, it didn't matter if they were together or apart I liked the characters. But now I have grown to dislike both of them no matter who they are with. Ridge lately has turned into a mean, ill-tempered man and I'm not just talking about the whole Rick thing he was getting like that even before Rick showed up.

And now Brooke who RIGHT after breaking it off with Ridge runs to Nick. Does she have no shame whatsoever? She is now throwing herself like a harlet at a man who is engaged to and trying to have a child with another women. Can't she just be alone and be OK with just being her own women?After she broke it off with Nick last year she made this HUGE speech to both him and Ridge about how she needs to be by herself and find herself and all that, what happened there?

I just don't agree with the direction both characters have taken lately and I really hope something happens to change these two for the better. Oh and Stephanie will always be bad and trying to get involved in EVERYBODYS lives. I had hoped the storyline with her mother and the therapy would have changed her for the better but apparently not. It seems like we took that whole journey with Stephanie for nothing as it has changed NOTHING.

Sorry to be such a downer, I'll make my next post happy.

Other than the "one last roll on the sofa" comment (to brooke!), I've been proud of him, too. He seems ready to let go and pick up a new life. And I'm glad that he turned Ashley down for her offer to go out...it would clearly be a rebound move. (For Ashley too, unknown to Ridge.) I used to love Ridge, I hope his character is on the right track now!

At one point I too was getting sick of Ridge. But recently the way he has handled the situation with Brooke, I am starting to respect him again. Especially when he looked at her and said: "You go straight from the plane to Nick", then added "What is it like switching channels". It seems like Ridge finally gave Brooke some words that she needed to hear. I hope too that when Brooke goes running back to Ridge (like she did when she split w/ Nick), I hope Ridge HAS MOVED ON. Not meaning with another women, just with his life & family. There is life after Brooke!
At least lately we see Ridge more & more involved in Phoebe's life. He needs to set her straight once & for all about Rick. You think though the punch and break-up would have given Rick & Phoebe a "time out". But it seemed like they felt RELEAVED and were ready to start up a good relatinonship. Phoebe showed no respect for her father.
Now all of a sudden Phoebe is worried about her mother.
In reality it was her father "Ridge" that lost Brooke, his dignity and went through h*ll with Rick's drooling over her.
I still think Rick set out to spite Ridge no matter at what cost. And I bet it WILL BE Ridge that finds Rick eventually in bed with Ashley!
