Trying again as I lost my first message. I just read some of the previous posts and wanted to add this.

Grandmarose thank you for the history lesson. When I was working I was not able to catch all the beginning shows and then when the tapes came out I would watch all of then and now DVR them. I hesitate to dispute some of them because I don't know my early facts as well as I know the more current ones. I don't understand all the Brooke hate as just as on all soaps people are guilty of certain things. What I am more confused about is they seem to hate Hope because of Brooke. Why should they hate Hope just because Brooke is her mom? Brooke is Brooke and Hope is Hope - two different characters. Even Brooke has said that she has not been the best role model and is surprised by her daughter's goodness.

Aces that you for telling us about your winters which have to be different than the ones I experience where I live. We get a lot of snow and the last thing we could be doing is gardening.

Ruby hope you can stay cool. My brother-in-law and his family had to leave Arizona because my sister-in-law could not take the heat any longer.

I am glad that there will be a show tomorrow even if it is the 4th of July. Hope that wherever you are and whatever you do you have a wonderful holiday. For those that don't live in the US just have a wonderful day.

Jacee, it does seem sad that the hatred for Brooke has been passed onto Hope. Well one thing they both do have in common is that they are both very kind and forgiving, but you are right they are two very distinct persons with different outlook in life.

most people hate the logans because,#1 they lost their man to them,stephanie,taylor,steffy,and husband,and poor taylor still trying to hang on, ridge left her years ago,its time for her to move on, she is no match for brooke.

Happy Fourth to all the American posters. I am not American but July 4 is my anniversary - since we live very close to the American/Canadian border my husband and I can always have fireworks for our anniversary.

GMR - Saying a prayer that the surgery goes well tomorrow.

I can't believe how the writers change the characters on the show so drastically from one day to the next - it's not even believable - one day Steffy seems like she is maturing, the next she becomes needy and pathetic. One day Bill is obsessed and evil, the next he becomes caring and mellow. It's making my head spin.
