Hello everyone!! I wasn't too happy that Brooke was trying to "forbid" Hope to get to know her father, but I suppose it stirs up some pretty horrid stuff in her, so while I don't agree, I can almost understand why she feels the way she does. She does need to step back and let Hope make her own mistakes, but that's hard for any parent to do.

I loved the flashback, too. Anyway, hope everyone has a great evening!!

Just want to say hi and wish everyone are doing well! Great to see the familar faces and welcome to the newbies! Here in Miss Brooke's Place, we don't have to worry about being hated for our opinions. The worst that can happen is we will agree to disagree! That's why I love this thread!

I agree that Brooke is too protective when it comes to Hope. Hope needs to learn from her mistakes. As a parent, Brooke needs to give advice and step back to let Hope make her own decisions. It is very hard to do, but that's what a parent must do. Just be ready to support her when things go bad. Hope is a smart girl and she will learn from her mistakes and grow stronger. I agree that she needs to meet Deacon and decide for herself if he should be in her life.

I hope Deacon took Bill's deal so that he can help Hope. Deacon is a contradiction. He is bad but he can be good. He is in jail this time because he tried to protect Nikki by hiding evidence that impliciated Nikki in Diane's death (on Y&R). So let's hope he has the same protective instinct towards Hope.

Still want to kick Liam's butt. I hope if the wedding doesn't happen in Italy is because Hope finally sees him for the weakling that he is and dump him at the alter. Very torn about the wedding. Let's hope it ends the triangle one way or another!

I agree that Hope should at least have the chance to meet her real father, Deacon. She should be able to make up her own mind about him. I can understand how hard it is sometimes to stay out of your grown daughter's or son's life, but there are times you just have to sit on your hands and figuratively tape your mouth shut, unless your are distinctly asked for your opinion. So speaks the voice of experience.

I am a little curious whether or not Deacon and Amber will meet and how that will proceed, since they were previously involved, at least on Y&R.

Storm 288, I agree with you about being torn about the wedding in Italy. Sometimes I think one scenario should be Liam taking a dunking in the Adriatic and winding up on a tramp steamer bound for Singapore, where he is held for ransom since his father is extremely wealthy.

Wow Justin left no doubt in Marcus's mind as to what is important to him and it ain't family.

Enjoyed Karen & Dani's little exchange and had to laugh at the colossal ego of Billy Boy.

Billy boy thinks he is hot stuff, but if I remember didn't Donna turn him down & he also tried a line on Brooke and she ignored it and I am sure Dani has no interest other than a job.

Looks like Eric might be the one to design the dress for Hope
