Some people I talk to think he is up to his eyeballs in guilt, I think he is very distrought about the death of his grandchild and watching Nancy Grace's jailhouse meetings with the parents and Casey you can see how much he loves his daughter and grandaughter. So very sad, poor Caylee is not the only victim in this horrible tragedy My prayers go out to little Caylee. the innocent victim in this entire debacle. I did see the story you speak of on CNN. it mentioned something about him leaving a message saying "he just wanted to be with Caylee" then checking into a motel with medication. it suggested he was going to attempt to take his life. he was found and put in psychiatric observation. the story is highly odd and keeps getting more strange. a part of me thinks this man may have really believed his granddaughter was still alive and Casey was innocent. most parents want to believe the good in their own children. it was mentioned that Casey's mother asked him to buy some jewelry for Caylee for the funeral and that may have driven him over the edge. if that is the case, then my heart would go out to this man b/c he is in shock and completely traumatized. if it's an act i would be horribly sickened but i just can't imagine why it would be. i really don't know but the saddest thing is what happened to this little beautiful innocent child. |

I don't think Casey's mother had anything to do with it because she was the one who said her car smelled like a dead body. I think the father knows more than he's saying. JMO |

If Cayee did drown it was at the hands of her mother and that's why it wasn't reported and the body hide and the guilt of what his daughter did and his part in hiding Cayee's body is what pushed the father to try to kill himself. How could you live with yourself just letting that little girl rot on the cold ground. |

Stand back and watch. This woman, who should never have had responsibility for a child, will bring her entire family down to save her ass. Shame on our entire society for allowing the murder of innoncents. The mother needs to go to jail for life, have her uterus ripped out. She is sick to try and now blame her own father. |

This is going to be some crazy chit, I read that a DNA test was done on Caylee to see if her father was Casey's brother, Caylee's uncle.
