He really probably wants to leave but he knows whomever takes him will bring his spoiled rotten ass back within 24 hr and throw a sack a money in the driveway and speed off.

Sorry about your sick dog, he does sound amazing, i absolutely adore mine (a 16 month old Dalmatian who is absolutely crazy) especially since my cat died just before Christmas last year, he was 13 and while he wasn't really an affectionate cat, actually he had quite a temper and i have a five inch scar down my arm from one of his tantrums, i still loved him.

Actually i think my dog loved him more, she was obsessed with being his friend and would follow him around and try to lick him, but she was too crazy and over-enthusiastic and the cat would hiss at her, so she was torn between loving him and being scared of him, she still looks for him sometimes and whenever we're on a walk she gets super excited if we see a cat, but she doesn't like to get to close because she knows what cat claws can do

OK brooksie you got me, I'm going to the Preakness at the off track betting parlor, I guess I could have faked it since there would be so many people there.

I went on the boat and lost, now I'll be sitting at the off track Preakness making 10 cents bets and pretending I got money.

I've been married to this husband for 40 years off and on, but found being poor wasn't my cup of tea in the off time. In another life I must have been rich, so I married him and his mother again. Mother is gone now, it's just the two of us and my two dogs.

When I got my dog Chewy he was grown and his weight was only 8 lbs. I begged " my son" to give Chewy to me for a year, his wife kept saying no. I was about to report them for neglecting Chewy, he is a Shih tzu and hadn't been groomed in over a year and they made him stay outside even in the winter with no food or water, he is so lucky to be alive, I don't know how he made it.

I told my son to take him to the groomer and make a vet appointment. I went and picked him up and he was skin and bones and hairless, they had to shave him. I took him to the vet and he was OK, just under weight.

I bought him home and at first he was mean when I fed him, once he got the food he show his teeth if I dropped some and try to pick it up. We would go for walks and he acted like he was a show dog, I'm thinking your ribs are clanking.
Chewy was so happy and in no time I could hand feed him and he's about 15 lbs now. A great watch dog and super smart, he seems to understand everything I say.

We have been together 10 years now and he still don't like my husband. He attack him every time he comes home, he knows his van and start barking when he drives up. He buys Chewy treats, but Chewy still don't like him.

The Boston is like Little Bears dog, a ding bat. I take them out side and Chewy will hop up on the chair beside me and ding bat ( Tess ) catch and kill birds, she killed two in less than 5 mins today. I'm going to have to get a muzzle to let her out.

Enough about my dogs and hubby, I'm going to bed. I don't want to be late for the big race.

BTW kmc320 are you sure you ain't eating those B&B berries?

Worked the door last night raising money for our Convention ORL weekend. Played til 1:14am CDT. Had to be at District Conf this morning at 9;30am (hour away). I'm now about to crash and burn.
No big meal at my house tomorrow. Will b me and that bed loving each other.

FL Senior post about the Tucker siring Devon with a servant. I truly believe some people are ignorant to the progress (and lack thereof) of people of color and say things based on that ignorance. I don't think she meant any harm. And will overlook her statement because she's a "senior". It's 2011 but there are still ppl living in medieval times.

aqua - your little dog sounds so precious! My dog Ivory loves everyone, strangers, family, friends, as long as they give her attention then she's happy! I love your word "dingbat" that's a great way to describe my dog, she's such a nut, she gets so over-excited about everything and jumps up and down on her back legs, she's tall when she does that and i'm kind of short and i'm so worried one day she's going to break my teeth, she's already split my lip open twice as well as smashing me in the face a ton of times. Plus she's very obsessive she is allergic to grass and she gets a rash all over her stomach and then she sits there and tries to rip out all her hair, she costs me a fortune in medications for her allergies and her ear infections!

I have so missed chatting with you lately, you're so great and i love all the help you gave me a few weeks ago. I've been worrying about a few things again, but whenever i do i always think of you and all the times you told me not to stress about things! I've been feeling unwell again but was putting off going to the doctors, but brooksie gave me a talking to about it and i finally made an appointment, i'm hoping its just stress that's been making me feel sick and not anything else but i guess i'll find out in a couple of days.

My mom has been continuing to cause drama for everyone, but i'm starting to get to the point (brooksie and Coastie have been busy helping me!) where i'm ready to move on whether she wants to or not.

kmc320 - you are just hilarious! I love reading your comments everyday, they always give me a much needed laugh!

Just checking in to let you all know that I survived the end of the world on Saturday. Whatever happened didn't happen in Baltimore, we were busy running the Preakness!
LOL

I wish I could honestly say that I am not making light of that crazy prediction, but the whole thing was so absurd that I could barely keep a straight face. I remember telling the teller at the bank on Saturday that I figured if there was any truth to it, I would have gotten my own personal message.
