    Limp Flesh.

    Tuesday, March 23 2010
Janet is stuck in Carly's bed, Craig gets paranoid and Henry can't resist Barbara.

At Carly's, Dusty and Jack begin bickering about what to do when Janet starts cramping. Carly orders them to help Janet and shut up. They call a doctor over. The men bicker about who should stay with Janet while she's examined.

Carly takes Janet up to her bed, which is awkward. Janet climbs in and asks Carly to check on Dusty. She makes it clear that she's leaving her to worry about Jack. As the doctor comes in to do the exam, Carly goes downstairs and tells the men that things are going fine. They bicker. The doctor comes down and says that the cramping is normal but Janet should stay in bed for a day or two. Once she's gone, Dusty wants to take Janet home. Jack refuses to let her out of Carly's bed. Carly's miffed but agrees to allow her to stay. Dusty goes up to see Janet and Carly tells Jack that she will stick by him even while Janet is in her bed with his baby.

Upstairs, Janet feels like she's stuck in a nightmare. Dusty smiles and tries to get her to relax. They cozy up and he promises to take care of her and the baby and Liberty. When he goes downstairs, he and Jack begin bickering about what kind of hot drink to get Janet. Carly announces she is getting groceries and tells them to stay quiet. She leaves and they continue arguing.

Jack and Dusty try to look after Janet. They vie over who should check her temperature and then argue about Jack botching the divorce. Jack accuses Dusty of putting her pregnancy in jeopardy.

In his room, Craig asks Johnny if he's been playing around with his desk. Some papers have gone missing. Johnny says it wasn't him. He calls housekeeping and says that someone has been moving his stuff around.

Henry and Vienna run into Barbara in the lobby of the Lakeview. He wants to avoid her but Vienna wants to be friendly and asks her old enemy to join them for a drink. She says no. Vienna won't back off. Spotting Craig, Barbara points at him and announces she has a date. He comes over, confused as Barbara invites him to sit with her. Henry stares as Barbara whispers to Craig, who is sure she's up to something. Henry doesn't like the look of Barbara with Craig and begins making out with Vienna. They decide to get oysters and jump into bed. He sends her up ahead of him so he can keep an eye on Barbara. Finally, he interrupts and Craig leaves. Barb and Henry bicker jealously until Vienna returns and drags him away.

Barbara goes up to her room and mournfully looks in the mirror. She imagines herself as an old lady walking into Al's with a walker while Henry sucks face with Vienna and they laugh at Barb as she drops her false teeth into a glass. Barbara freaks out.

Barbara goes to Fashions looking for the dress she returned. She panics as she searches for it. The saleswoman finds it.

In his room, Craig visits with Ellis and complains that someone has been messing with his papers. He thinks someone could be sabotaging him... someone like Barbara. Carly shows up and notices Craig is nervous. Craig sends Ellis out and Carly interrogates Craig. He claims that he's being stalked. She explains the situation at her house and he mocks her. They turn to business and he asks her if she's still sure she wants to go through with their project. "This is exactly what I need right now," she says.

Vienna pulls Henry into his bed. He climbs out from under the sheets when 'the flesh is limp'. They get up and dress. He says the new him has a lower sex drive. She thinks they should try a new sex game but he doubts it will work. "Is there someone else?" she asks. He claims he just has stage fright. She's sorry she came back and storms out. Barbara walks in wearing her dress. Henry's startled. "You look... wow," he says. She's relieved that she could take his breath away and walks off with a smile. He follows her into her room and begins making out with her. After they have sex on her couch, he wonders why he is with her instead of Vienna. She tells him it may be time to admit that he doesn't belong with Vienna anymore. Suddenly, she calls him to apologize. He agrees to meet her. Barbara encourages him to go. He buttons his pants and walks out. Craig calls and asks Barbara out to lunch.

Someone sneaks into Craig's room and looks at a picture of Johnny.

Carly goes home and chats with Dusty in the kitchen. While he is assuring Carly he will get Janet out, she is upstairs apologizing to Jack for trying to run off to get a quickie divorce. She says it's good that they broke up and they're all better off splitting. She'll never regret being married to him. He tells her that part of him will always love her. Carly walks in as he says this. She grimaces and then interrupts. Dusty comes in as she and Jack leave. Janet asks him to get her a divorce ASAP.

Jack and Carly go downstairs and she tells him that it's becoming harder than she thought it would be to accept that he is having a baby with Janet. He assures her that he loves her and this is their time. They vow to be together forever and kiss.

Next on As The World Turns:

Janet goes to see her daughter.

Dusty asks Jack if he's going to arrest him.

Barbara continues using Craig to make Henry jealous.

Just simply love Barbara and Henry, they are so cute together and once again, Vienna gets all bent out of shape and off she runs....stay gone this time and it would be fine by me. They are the only good part of this show anymore.

Was hoping that Jack would choke down on the words she is still my wife that he told to Dusty about taking her temp. Nervy creep, but he wasted no time running after Carly to say how much he loves her after she walked in on the lovey dovey scene with Jack and Janet.....wish she would have kicked both their butts out! Guess that part of Janet that will always love Jack was not the part in the hotel room committing adultry with Dusty!

Totally over the Jack/Carly and Janet/Dusty crap! There are other characters on the show you know not that I like many of them anymore. Love Henry and Babs they're the best couple right now! Other than that I can see why the show has been canned.

I never thought I would root for Barbara over Vienna to be with Henry, but I'm hooked! They are great together, and Vienna just can't accept Henry for who he is.

Also: Jack/Carly/Dusty/Janet - shut up please, all of you!

Hi everyone! I hope you all are having and/or had a good day today.

I enjoyed today's eppy and was laughing at so many scenes.

Barbara/Hank - I LOVE those two together. They have a really good chemistry - what fun. I am really enjoying the turn that those two have taken. I hope that Hank sees Barbara for the catch that she is and dumps Vienna. That sex scene was hilarious with Hank's mortification at what had happened or didn't happen. What a hoot!

Craig - oh, Craig ... don't you know that it's all going to blow up in your face ... Any guesses on who the perp might be? I have not a clue.

CarJack and Dustnet - I have to say that I was laughing at the scenes with Jack and Dusty squabbling like two boys in a sandbox. Those two were so immature. Jack doesn't care about Janet - he just hates Dusty.

As for that stupid line about a part of him will always love Janet - I wanted to throw up. One good thing about that line was the tone of voice that Jack used as he said it - more like a friendly thing to say. No real emotion or intensity. Just a nice to say since Janet said it first. I may be too much of a Jack apologist, but I kinda thought that he was just being polite to Janet, by reciporating the sentiment. I certainly don't believe that Jack loves Janet in any kind of meaningful way. The problem was that Carly walked in on him saying it.

I think that Jack saying to Dusty that she is my wife was all about his hating Dusty. Again it has nothing to do with any lingering feelings for Janet. Just a pissing match between those two. Jack hates Dusty and is just trying to give Dusty a hard time.

Janet being pregnant with Jack's baby just does my head in. I hate it so much. To text Jack that she is getting a quickie divorce and will fax the divorce papers to him is so classless and tacky. Girlfriend needs a slap on the back of the head for that move. Thankfully Jack has some sense of honor and propriety. I totally side with Jack on that one. I thought that it was great that he had them ground Dusty's plane - loved it. I detest Dusty if you couldn't tell already.

Carly is being classy and I just love how she is struggling with all of this. Jack matters to her so she is going to stay in the struggle. She isn't giving up. It means that she is going to come out of this unscathed. I see all of this struggle on Carly as a testimony to her growth as a person. She knows in her heart that she and Jack are meant to be together. She knows that Jack is only concerned about the baby, not Janet. She also knows that Jack's bickering with Dusty has to do with Jack hating Dusty, nothing else. It doesn't mean that she is going to like it but Carly is being so good. You go girl! Love, love CarJack.

Jack is getting on my last nerve. He wants both Carly and Janet. He needs to just let Janet get on with her life with Dusty. He isn't being fair to Carly either. I have never been a big Carly/Jack fan. I don't really like either character although I did kind of like Carly when she was with Craig. I can't understand why anyone would want to be with Jack. He is too self righteous. Brad was the only cool Snyder man. Holden is just like Jack. Jack and Carly deserve to make each other miserable again.

I love Dusty and Janet together. It is good to see Dusty loving life again. I hated when he was all moody. Janet is a better character with Dusty. At least he is there for her and not running off after an exwife. They should get custody of Johnny from Craig.

I used to love Henry and Vienna. I thought it was awful that they made her character so "goody-goody" about the money. Let's face it she used to love it so it was hard for me to believe that she would be that upset with Henry over it even if it was James Stenbeck money. That being said I love Henry with Barbara now. She likes him for who he is. I can't wait to see family dinners with Henry and Barbara and Paul and Emily. That is going to be great!!!

I know they weren't on today but I hope they don't put Lily and Holden back together. She deserves to be alone after all the crap with Damien. I also like Luke better with Reid than I did Noah. I always thought Luke and Noah were boring. I also hope that Allison and Chris don't get put back together. Allison is just a boring character. She needs to be back with Casey and Chris and Katie should get together.

Well that was my rant for today. It's a shame I only have until September. I still miss Guiding Light so it will be really bad then.

Just watched today's eppy again - what fun! I loved the last scene with CarJack and "Worth It All" playing as background music. I love those two together. Those two are gold. Jack is so right that this is their time!!!

So tired of Jack. He's the worst kind of man. Seems nice and concerned but, in the end, always hurts you. Then apologizes, says its him that has the problem, then hurts you again. In the end, he gets what and who he wants and justifies it by saying he's not a good person.

Barbara and Henry are the best couple in a long time. Vienna should disappear. She's acts like a spoiled child.

Shorty and Hera - I love reading your comments and ITA with them. The sappy scene with Jack and Janet should never have been written, what a joke. I am wondering if that is Lucy in Craig room. I have not read that she is coming back and the only reason I say that is because the person was looking at Johnny picture. I hope Carly finds out Craig is using Parker trust fund before it is all gone. The scene at the end with CarJack was awesome with the background music. I hope Henry gives Vienna the boot and stick with Barbara, who accepts him as is and the scenes between these two are great. Vienna is all about money.
