    I Can't See Period.

    Tuesday, January 05 2010
Meg fakes being sane, Lily might be pregnant and Noah pushes Luke away.

Holden and Molly go to the hospital to check on Meg. He tells Molly how nice it's been to have a friend to help him deal with this. The nurse advises them to prepare themselves for a shock. When they go in, Meg is knitting. Holden is shocked by how sane she seems. She's had a few hours of therapy and it's helped her out of the 'haze'. Now she wants to make things up to the people she's hurt. Damian broke her heart and she sank into paranoia but she's sure it was all in her head. The nurse interrupts to medicate her. Meg takes the pill but doesn't swallow it and then hides the pill. Holden and Molly leave. She worries about the 'Stepford' version of Meg. He tries being more optimistic.

Meg meets with her doctor. She tells him how much better she feels. She wants to take the next step. "I need to see Damian Grimaldi," she says, asking the doctor if he will talk Damian into coming. The doctor arranges the meeting. When Damian arrives, Meg tells him how sorry she is for everything that happened. As soon as the doctor leaves them alone, Damian says he finds all of this weird. She tells him the doctor is as easy to fool as he is. Soon, she will be pronounced cured and released. "You know what the first thing I'll do is? I'm going to kill you," she says.

Holden and Molly go back to the farm house. He worries what it would mean if his sister really is lying about being better. They wonder if there could be something more to the stories Meg has been telling. She thinks she should go and dig around in Kentucky for some answers. He offers to go with her. They flirt.

Noah returns to Lily's. He tells Lucinda, Luke and Lily that he doesn't want anyone to think of him as a charity case. He wants to fight to get better and claims Dr. Oliver says he can. He wants to go to Oliver's clinic in Dallas. Lily and her mother decide to leave the men alone. Noah tells Luke not to try and talk him out of this. When Luke tries to get close to him, Noah pushes him back. "I can't," he says. Too much has changed and he thinks that Luke is trying to make him accept what has happened and move on. Luke insists that isn't true and he just wants him to get better. Noah says he has to see again and everything else is secondary. "Including me?" Luke asks. They go out on the porch and Noah says that now he can't see his film, he realizes how much it meant to him. Luke puts a jacket on him and asks him to reach in the pocket. Noah discovers an award in it. Luke explains that his film won first prize at the student film festival. He finished the movie for him and tells him how much everyone liked it. "You did this to control me. You took my work and you made it your own," Noah says. Luke doesn't know why he can't see how he did all of this all for him. "I can't see period. I can't see," Noah says.

Alone, Noah sits down and plays the recording of the film Luke made.

Luke sits outside and tries calling Dr. Oliver.

At Metro, Lily tells her mother that she's been feeling nauseous. "This is how I felt when I..." Lily starts. She wonders if she is pregnant. "Is there any chance it could be Holden's?" Lucinda asks. Lily decides to run off to the hospital and get a test.

Molly goes to Fashions to buy some lingerie. She bumps into Lucinda, who is looking at maternity wear. Lucinda says the whole town thinks she is carrying on with Holden. Molly tries to run. Lucinda insists that Holden and Lily always find their way back together. Molly tells her that's "passé" and she needs to start acting her age. "If you can count that high," Molly snipes.

At the hospital, Holden runs into Lily. He asks her why she's there. She claims she has a stomach bug. He thinks she seems anxious and decides he should leave town. A nurse comes out and tells Lily that they are ready to take her blood and see if she's pregnant.

At home, Katie laughs as she finds Henry and Simon sleeping together on her couch. She clears her throat. They jump apart when they notice they're on top of each other. She teases them and they remember when Simon worked at the garage. He asks Katie out to dinner and she agrees. After Simon leaves, Henry teases Katie and tells her it's a lot more than just dinner. "The last thing I need right now is a new love," she says. Henry thinks that makes Simon perfect because he's her old love. She wants to concentrate on Jacob and work. She already has an idea to pitch to Kim. Henry urges her to stay open to Simon being around.

At Al's, a customer rants at Simon while he's making a reservation. As they argue, a woman walks through the door and recognizes him. Her name is Clarissa. He wonders why she is there. She starts to laugh when he explains that he's working there. When she tells him she has a scam set up and she just needs to finalize it, he refuses to get involved. After she leaves, he counts his tips. "Being poor sucks," he complains before calling and cancelling his dinner reservation.

Katie and Henry go to the station with Jacob. She tells the baby that this is where she met Brad. They do a practice run for her show idea. Jacob cries so Henry sings him a lullaby. "I'm so lucky to have you," she tells Henry. That means a lot to him. Simon calls Katie and asks her to meet him. Henry agrees to watch Jacob and she runs off.

When Katie arrives at Al's, Simon shows her in. He's closed it and arranges a candlelit meal for them. Henry watches them through the window. "Your mama's happy we're happy," he tells Jacob. Inside, Katie remembers how great things used to taste when they were poor. They eat Shepherd's pie.

Meg is still that obsessed with Damian - girl, get over it - he didn't and doesn't want you. She needs some REAL therapy. So Eliza has TWO crazy parents -- Paul was just CRAZY and locked up and now Meg is currently crazy and currently locked up. Why Child Proctective Services hasn't stepped in is beyond me.

Totally over Noah. He has a great guy who loves him and who is there for and has been there for him no matter what. Gave a home a family and undying love and he treats poor Luke like crap! I wish Luke would develop more of a backbone and tell Noah off. I mean if Noah doesn't want to be with Luke (which is kinda of what he's indicating with his behavior) then he should let him go and stop tourturing the poor guy!

As usual, another great show. It is so much fun to escape into the crazy and bizarre city of Oakdale.

lets think about this for a minute.....if meg kills damian, whats the worst that can happen? if ever one was to commit a crime in tv land, wouldn't oakdale be the best place to do it?! and besides, it'll take margo and her numbskulls months to even catch her in pauls wine cellar so whats the most jail time she's gonna do....the jails closed in september i believe....but lets go out with a bang and some good old fasioned vigilante justice. it couldn't happen to a nicer guy. i also thought it was nice for them to bring nancy hughes in for some lines. and while i'm at it, is it me, or is it strange that janet can throw jack out of his family home...uh...her car's at the hotel....?...she has to shower before she'll touch you...?...margo will need him on the beat soon!!! god, i'm gonna miss this show.

Have these people never heard of EPT? Who goes to the hospital to get a blood test to find out if they're pregnant? With my 2 kids the OB didn't even test me to confirm. I've been watching ATWT since I was in high school when Lily first laid eyes on Holden. I still keep up out of habit, but I just want to throw things at the TV. Lily was stornger and more independent when she was a teen. The writes have turned her into flighty Daisy from the Great Gatsby. I had hoped they would write the character differently with the new actress, but they continue to make her an idiot. I still remember years ago when she was chasing Simon. It really made no sense, I didn't see the "chemistry". But it's still better than "reality" TV.

cbruns71471: Im afraid for you - I don't think you understand that this is a soap opera - its not real!!! CPS stepping in??? Come on.

And I just don't understand why Meg wanted Damian more than she wanted revenge. And once she saw it was going bad, why not pull out the revenge card then?
