James Dies Again.

Tuesday, September 08 2009
Audrey tries to pin James's murder on Henry, Barbara figures out Audrey is up to no good, Janet and Teri spar over Liberty's pregnancy, and Liberty tells Parker the truth.

Audrey watches as James passes out from the lethal injection. After he is out, she pretends to be upset and hides the syringe in Henry's pocket! Henry tells Audrey he knows she did something to James. The paramedics wheel James away and Audrey chases after them. Henry calls Vienna and tells her he doesn't think James will make it!

Barbara sees Audrey crying in the Lakeview. Audrey informs her that the magnificent man is dead and runs away! Audrey goes back to her suite and orders the attorney to stick to their bargain. As she is untying him, Barbara bangs on the door. Barbara convinces a housekeeper to let her in. She walks in as Audrey is untying the attorney and remarks, "What an interesting way to mourn the dead!" As the attorney leaves, Audrey tells Barbara she and James had an open relationship. Barbara tells her she knows she is desperate to get her hands on James's money. Barbara realizes James didn't have a chance to change the will. Barbara warns her she won't get away with what she did!

Paul and Emily cuddle in bed and he mentions his marriage proposal again. Emily asks if he loves her. He tells her he does, but she still wants to leave things the way they are.

Craig tells Rosanna he hated lying to her. Rosanna worries that Liberty must be so scared and wonders about Parker, but Craig informs her that Parker is not the father. Rosanna then apologizes and admits that he was incredibly unselfish, but will never figure him out. Craig asks Rosanna if she will be okay with Teri coming back to Metro. She agrees and remarks she will not mention anything to Carly. Craig leans in and asks if they are good. She stammers that they are okay.

A doctor asks Liberty how she is feeling, but Janet barges into the clinic and orders the doctor to get her daughter off of the table! Liberty admits she has not gone through with the procedure and wants to talk to her mom alone. Liberty apologizes for letting her down, but Janet assures her that she loves her. Liberty cries that she doesn't want the baby. She admits that Parker is not the father and she had a one night stand. Liberty begs Janet to let her have the abortion, but Janet convinces her to go home to discuss it.

Barbara barges into Fairwinds to find a half naked Paul and Emily. Although horrified, she tells Paul that James is dead, but the will was not changed. Paul kisses Emily and tells Barbara he has everything he wants. Barbara wants him to go to the hospital and he agrees.

The doctor informs Henry and Vienna that James is dead from suffering a fatal heart attack. Henry finds a syringe in his pocket and realizes Audrey slipped it into his pocket to pin the murder on him! Vienna orders Henry to stay there while she takes care of the situation. Paul and Emily arrive and Henry informs them James is dead. Emily asks how Henry managed to pull this off.

Inside the hospital room, Paul tells James he may be the one who is dead, but he finally gets to rest in peace. Paul tells James he can't hurt him anymore and thanks him for finally giving him what he wanted most in the world. He steps outside and tells Henry and Emily he is sure that James is dead. Henry tries to give Paul a hug, but Paul laughs that he hopes Henry enjoys all the money. After they leave, Henry goes in to see James. He says good-bye and thanks him for the money.

Janet and Teri return home with Liberty. She apologizes, but Janet assures her she is still her mom and still loves her. After Liberty goes upstairs, Janet asks why Teri would take her daughter to an abortion clinic and leave her! Teri stammers that Janet knows better than anyone how Liberty is feeling, but Janet yells that she needed an adult and not a pal. Teri thinks Janet should be grateful that Liberty confided in anyone at all. Their fight escalates into an abortion debate and Teri asks if Janet is going to force Liberty to have a baby. Janet reminds Teri they are Catholics and abortion is a sin. Teri doesn't want to have a political debate and wants to focus on what is best for Liberty. Janet yells that she doesn't know what is best for her daughter. Teri asks if she wants Liberty to turn out like her. Janet tells her she will never be a parent to her child and orders her to get out! Parker interrupts to check on Liberty. Alone again, Teri asks if they will make it through this, but Janet cries that she can't say.

Liberty steps outside with Parker. She cries and admits that she is pregnant. A quiet Parker asks if it is Tony's. Liberty tells him she went to Chicago to have an abortion, but didn't go through with it. Liberty doesn't know what to do. Parker tenderly hugs her as she cries.

Vienna goes to Audrey's suite and tells her she knows she killed James. She pulls the syringe out and tells her she is taking it to the police! Audrey tells her not to be foolish. Audrey claims she will tell the police that Henry forced her to murder James for the money!

Barbara goes back to Audrey's suite and tells her she will prove what she did to James. Audrey tells her there is nothing to prove, but Barbara tells her she ordered an autopsy and leaves.

Vienna and Henry meet up at the Lakeview bar. She tells him that Audrey set him up and they have to stay quiet. Henry sips on a martini and remarks, "Guess I'll have to accept the Stenbeck fortune after all."

Next on As The World Turns:

Noah and Luke watch as Mason crashes his bike.

After Ebb hits Maeve, Holden yells that it is not necessary!

Lily and the children are in a field. Damian arrives and Faith asks, "What is he doing here?"

As Damian holds Ethan, he tells Meg he can't go with her to pick up Eliza.

Today was a good episode. I see now ro and craig part 3..did you see the look in her eyes?? Funniest moment was when henry tried to hug paul outside james room..on a serious note i had the kleenex watching the scenes with liberty terri and janet but for the love of GOD please turn the volume down on janets voice...im not catholic but i hear they are really strict on abortions..i can see terri and janets side of the issue and this storyline is starting to warm on me..i have heard some rumors and i am not sure on whether it can be discussed on here but did brad really get fired?? wow anyway great show today

Janet is right Teri should have never gone behind her back. Even if Janet would be upset she is Liberty's mother and loves her daughter no matter what. Shame on Teri and kudos to Janet for being strong for her daughter and helping her child.

I can't wait to get home and watch this episode I just have one question is James really dead. We all know how many lives that man have. The whole Liberty pregnant thing is really interesting I just hope Janet let's Liberty make what ever decision is best for her.

Tnelli I heard that Brad was leaving the show but they never said when he was leaving. I read in one of the magazine that he has already stop taping episodes but you know how far in advance they tape so he will probably still be on screen for awhile. I was reading the comings and goings and Tom P is coming to Oakdale I wander if he is coming as Jonathan or someone new. I hope he comes in as Jon and that will give some of the other actors from GL a reason to visit.

I don't think that it is a matter of whether Janet was going to be upset, we all knew she would be just as all of us would have been. My concern about it from the beginning, is exactly what is taking place, once Janet found out, it is no longer in Libertys hands and I feel that is very unfair of Janet. She is going to make a decision on it for what she thinks is right, what she feels should be done, not what Liberty wants and that part makes me sad. I hope that they can sit down and discuss it and come to a decision that works for everyone, hope Janet does not lose sight of what Liberty needs, even tho it is not what Janet wants....she might lose Liberty for good if she does not hush up and listen and let Liberty be a big part in what gets decided...I knew that it would not be good for Teri and Craig but maybe Janet will calm down and see that it was better for them to help her than for her to go do this on her own and go to the wrong people...this is a sad situation but one that happens every day in this world....

Loved Paul in today's episode. Let Henry deal with handling the money and the Stenbeck legacy not to mention the guilt of knowing his mother killed James and that Paul really should have been the heir. Paul's better off without any of it.
In relation to the comings and goings. Yes, Austin Peck is leaving. Fired, but I'm not going to repeat rumors as to why. Palphrey will not be playing Jonathon, but a new character, a bad guy evidently. Probably in the mob storyline coming up - which could also be a way of writing Brad out

It is about time that a mother acted like a mother on a soap. I have never been a Janet fan but adored her today. She was spot on. It's nice to finally see BOTH sides of a situation. I hope they don't make Janet out to be the hysterical one.

vanilla i dont want to say the story i heard about brad and why he is leaving because people have been getting banned recently and on the soapcentral boards we cant talk about an actor's personal business but there is a rumor of an affair with a co star. I dont know if its true but he will be missed

tom p is coming as a new character but they said he is still going to be a trouble maker..I LOVE his GL character so I will look forward to seeing how he turns out

I just read on the message board under ATWT's that Simon, Ben, and Mike are all returning to the show in the near future............how great is that??? That should boost the sagging ratings a lot!!

Now that you mention Ben, I heard a rumor Jessica was coming back as well...I miss her so much
