Aaron gives Sofie an ultimatum. Barbara tells Sofie to keep her distance from Paul. Paul makes another plea to Meg. Mike is hurt and so is Parker. Jack and Carly argue. Holden defends Carly.
Jack walks into Carly's kitchen with a skateboard, scaring her to death. She says he can't just come and go any longer; they argue. Carly says from now on he has to call before he does anything with the kids. Angry, Jack walks out, saying she is out of line. Parker and Sage come downstairs, wondering why Jack left so quickly. Carly says he was in a hurry and gives Parker the skateboard. The kids realize she's stressed out. In the kitchen, Parker realizes he's out of cereal and Sage says the oatmeal Carly fixed is the wrong kind. She suggests they go out for breakfast.
Jack goes to the police station, only to find that Margo has transferred his cases to another officer.
Faith talks to Lily over the phone until Holden comes in. He promises to call her later in the day so they can talk more. Holden suggests a day at the park to Faith and Natalie. They arrive at the park as Carly and Parker do. She tells him about kicking Jack out. Holden gets the girls together for a softball game. Parker watches and shakes his head. He is skating when the young girl from the diner gets in his way. Parker skids out of the way and rams into a tree! She runs off as Carly arrives. He blames the girl but she's disappeared. At the hospital, he grouses about seeing a doctor. Carly tells Parker he has to be more careful.
Brad and Katie are having breakfast at The Lakeview. The girl from the diner watches as Mike approaches. He apologizes and promises not to change. He leaves. The girl approaches them but they leave for work. At WOAK, Kim goes over the segment problems and Katie says she'll talk to Judge Burke's nanny to convince her to come on the show. Katie meets with the nanny at the diner; Brad sneaks in to listen. The nanny says she did have an affair with the judge but that he loves her. Brad interrupts and convinces her to tell the story. After the interview, the nanny leaves and the young woman returns. She walks up and demands to talk to Brad alone. He says she can talk to both of them and the girl announces that he's her father!
Sofie wakes at Fairwinds as Paul pours a stiff drink. She tries to reason with him but Paul tells her to get out. Babs walks in. Paul ignores both women. Barbara says she'll take care of Paul so Sofie can leave. Sofie warns her about Paul's drinking. Barbara turns to Paul and asks what he is trying to prove. He pours another drink. She asks if this is because of Meg! Paul won't answer. Barbara says he has to get himself together if he wants her back! Sofie returns later and Barbara tells her that she can't save Paul. Babs changes the subject to Sofie's career and asks if she's thought about creating a jewelry line. Babs asks Sofie to quickly sketch three designs so she can review them. She offers to advance Sofie any cash she needs to make the pieces. Sofie grabs her phone to call a supplier and sees the message from Aaron.
Barbara meets Kim at The Lakeview. She fills Kim in on her treatment and says things are going well. Kim encourages Babs to keep up the hard work but asks how she really feels. Barbara admits that her strength comes and goes. Then she says she is ready to move out of Fairwinds and back to The Lakeview!
At the farm, Meg and Aaron talk about Paul and Sofie. Mike arrives and asks Meg to walk the property line with him. They meet up with a construction crew member. Then Mike steps into a gopher hole! Meg helps him back to the house. They arrive as Paul barges up. She helps Mike inside. Jack is there and takes over. She returns to Paul who angrily accuses Mike of faking his injury. Meg is stunned. Paul calms down and says he'll wait for her but Meg doesn't believe he can change. Paul leaves. Meg and Jack take Mike to the hospital where Jack sees Sage. He angrily bursts into Parker's hospital room and starts a fight with Carly. He accuses her of not telling him about Parker's accident because she is trying to get back at him! Holden steps up and tells Jack to back off!
Sofie meets Aaron at Java and tells him about staying with Paul because he was in need of a friend. Aaron can't believe her and warns her that Paul isn't the nice guy he pretends to be. Aaron angrily tells Sofie she is on her own when she won't agree to stay away from Paul. She returns to Fairwinds. Paul tells her to go back to her boyfriend; Sofie says they broke up. Paul feels bad for her.
At the hospital, Meg wraps Mike's sprained ankle.
