Aaron and Allie are thiiiiis close to figuring things out. Barbara orders Iris to get Cole and Sofie out of town. Luke confronts Lily about Dusty. Sofie wants to keep the baby (but what else is new?).
Will and Gwen are dragging their Christmas tree through Old Town when they run into Barbara. She has a gift for them - a "baby's first" ornament. Gwen tells Barbara that the thought is great but that the birth mom could still change her mind. Will backs up Gwen, telling Barbara that they need to remain realistic. Barbara says she is being realistic and they will have their child! Gwen can't listen and walks away. She runs into Alison and tells her about their pending adoption. Gwen tells her about the baby - that the birth mom is in her third trimester and it will be a closed affair. Allie begins to wonder if Sofie might be the birth mother! She leaves. Will and Gwen return to the cottage. Will asks if they should open the baby gift but Gwen says no. After a while she decides they can open the gift. They love the gift and begin to decorate the tree. Gwen places the baby ornament on first.
Aaron and Sofie are having coffee in the diner. He sees a baby cap that Sofie knitted for the baby and asks when she thinks she'll be able to give it to the kid. Cole walks in, annoyed, and tells Aaron to butt out! Cole sees the cap and asks what it is. He reminds her that they can't have any contact with the child or the family and says she is ruining everything! Aaron steps in and tells Cole to back off but Sofie supports Cole and tells Aaron that he is right and she is being too forward about the baby. Aaron goes to the counter. Sofie and Cole sit down; he tells her things will be fine again once they are in L.A. Just then their lawyer, Bradshaw, walks in with the adoption papers for them to sign! Sofie says she won't sign! Cole gets mad but the lawyer steps in and says Sofie is right, she can't sign until the baby is born. He asks if Sofie is having second thoughts and Cole answers that they aren't. Sofie gives Bradshaw the baby cap she made and asks him to give it to the baby's parents. He reluctantly agrees.
A while later Alison runs into Barbara at The Lakeview. She asks about the baby! They sit and talk and Alison says she believes Sofie is Will and Gwen's birth mom! Barbara tells Alison she is crazy. Alison points out all the similarities but Barbara says it's just coincidence and she should know since she hired Will and Gwen's lawyer! Barbara tells Alison to drop it but Alison pushes her to contact the lawyer to learn the truth. Barbara agrees but then tells Alison to keep her suspicions to herself. Alison leaves. Babs calls Iris and they meet in her limo. "We have a problem," Barbara says. She tells Iris about Alison and tells her to hurry up and get Cole and Sofie out of town. Barbara leaves. Iris calls Cole and orders him to meet her immediately. When Cole arrives she asks him about Alison but Cole swears he doesn't know her. Iris tells him to get out of town or the whole deal will be blown. Cole reminds Iris that Sofie going with him to L.A. wasn't part of the deal but she says it doesn't matter and he has to get our out of town - now!
Cole returns to the diner as Sofie is leaving. He tells her about a job possibility in L.A. and says they have to leave now. She wonders how they can afford it and he says Iris will foot the bill. Sofie suggests that they keep the baby since Iris will help them get to L.A. and Cole has a job there! Cole refuses and tells her they have to get rid of the kid!
Alison calls Aaron and tells him what she knows. They both believe that Gwen may be trying to adopt Sofie's baby! Sofie walks in to tell Aaron good-bye. She makes excuses for Cole's behavior - again! - and tells Aaron that they have to leave for Cole's future. She leaves as Alison arrives. Aaron fills her in and they begin to put two and two together - they are even more sure that Barbara is behind it all! Aaron tells Alison about the baby cap, saying Sofie is really attached to it. Allie points out that Will and Gwen are attached too and they need to figure this out before it goes too far.
Back in Old Town, Cole asks Iris for the cash from Barbara. She hands it over as Sofie arrives and tells Sofie that she is making the right decision by sticking by Cole. Iris hugs Cole, whispers that he better not mess this up, and leaves.
Lily sees Bonnie in the lounge at The Lakeview and sits down with her. They talk about the law and then about Jessica. Finally Lily asks about Isaac and is surprised to learn about Bonnie's divorce. Bonnie turns the subject to Lily and Holden, saying she never thought they would need her help. Lily points out that Holden is the one pushing for the divorce. Holden walks in! Bonnie takes a call from Dallas. Holden makes a snide comment to Lily about having to "work" that weekend, wondering if she will make time for their kids. Lily points out that she is always available for their children. She leaves. Bonnie returns, tells them that Dallas just broke their basketball date and then leaves.
At the farm, Luke and Noah are finishing up his physical therapy exercises. Noah asks what is bothering Luke but Luke won't tell him that he regrets saying the "L" word. Noah sits down with him and tells Luke that they should go public! They go to Old Town for hot cocoa and Luke manages to get himself out of the wheelchair and into a regular chair on his own. As they sit and talk a couple of guys from Noah's college classes walk up and invite the guys to a fake-ID party. Noah says he can't go and then introduces Luke as his "friend". Luke isn't sure what to think about that. When they are alone, Luke becomes quiet and sullen. Noah realizes his mistake but tells Luke that his friends obviously thought of them as a couple because they invited them to the party together. Noah wheels Luke back to the farm. Luke tells Noah his real feelings and then apologizes to him for blurting it out at the police station. Noah tells him not to take those words back. He leaves. Holden arrives at the farm and Luke talks things over with him, saying he is frustrated that Noah isn't as open about their relationship as he is. Holden advises Luke to give it time because this is all very new to Noah.
Noah runs into Dusty at Yo's. They chat at the bar for a bit and Dusty sends Noah off to be with his friends. A girl approaches him and Noah blurts out that he is gay. The girl doesn't care and asks him to dance anyway. They go off. Lily walks in, plants a kiss on Dusty and he pulls away. He tells her they aren't alone! He tells her about Noah being there. Lily worries that Luke might be there, too, and is a little too relived to learn he isn't for Dusty's comfort. He asks if they are just sleeping around.
Just outside the door, Noah runs into Luke. Holden is there, too, and Noah tries to convince both that the party is lame and they should leave. Holden makes sure the boys are okay and then leaves. Luke starts to go inside but Noah again says it's lame and they should just leave. The dancing girl comes out and asks if Noah's going to finish their dance and Luke gets the wrong idea. Noah sets him straight and then tells him the real reason they shouldn't go inside: Lily is there with Dusty! Luke is shocked. Just then Lily and Dusty come out. Luke confronts his mother! "This is my family that you're destroying," Luke says when Lily tells him this is his business! Lily tells him that Dusty has nothing to do with the divorce and that she only turned to him after Holden pushed her away. The two of them return to the farm, arguing the entire time. Luke tells her to stay with Dusty if he is more important than her family! Lily can't believe what she is hearing and is hurt when Luke says he doesn't want to see her until she decides who and what she really wants. Luke wheels himself inside. Lily isn't sure what to do.
Holden runs into Bonnie at the gym and they shoot hoops for a while. He offers to be her one-on-one partner since Dallas didn't show up to play with her. They start to play.
