Carly accepts Jack's proposal - but still keeps her secret. Brad realizes he is no better than Carly. Holden and Lily work together to get Luke and Noah together. Dusty kisses Emily! Chris asks Bob for a job; Emily and Chris decide to live together.
Brad and the kiddos are enjoying hot chocolate and cookies at the diner. Parker is working on an essay for English class and writes down everything Brad says. He gets the kids ready to go but Sage asks if they can stay longer - just in case Carly and Jack are talking about getting married again.

Carly can't believe what she is hearing from Jack. He tells her that he loves her and she has won. "I don't want to win," she says. Jack gets down on one knee, takes her hands in his and proposes more seriously this time around. "I want to be married to you again," he says, making her smile. She starts to tell him that she doesn't want him to propose because she is sick but Jack talks right over her, insisting that they will face her last days as husband and wife. She accepts his proposal and they kiss! Carly brings up the past, apologizes for hurting him and says she never wants to hurt him like that again. They kiss again as the kids walk in. Jack gives them the good news; everyone is excited. Brad tells Carly the day is only going to get better, meaning that she has to tell the truth now. Jack gets a call from the police department. JJ asks Brad how the news will affect Katie and Brad assures him that Katie will be okay with the new development. Jack has to leave for work and asks them to get things ready for a family dinner. The kids head for the kitchen. Jack kisses Carly and leaves for work; Brad stays behind. Carly angrily tells him to stop with the funny comments; Brad doesn't say anything for a while. Then, he asks what is going to happen when Jack finds out "til death do us part" isn't right around the corner. Carly thinks Brad is threatening her but before she can threaten him back the kids come in. Sage brings up being a flower girl and JJ asks about being best man; Parker won't participate in the conversation and leaves. The other kids follow him. Brad says he understands why Carly is doing this. She asks him to keep her secret. Sage returns as Brad leaves and she and Carly begin drawing up flower girl dress designs.

Jack runs into Margo at work. She is annoyed because of Katie. Jack tries to smooth things over. Margo isn't interested in his explanations, especially when he brings up his new engagement to Carly. Still, Jack just keeps talking about Sage and the kids. He hopes he hasn't made things worse for them by giving them the hope that he and Carly will be together forever.

Jack returns to the house and meets Brad as he is leaving. He asks Brad to keep the engagement news from Katie. "Yeah, she's what you might call collateral damage," Brad says. He says he understands and tells Jack to get back to his family. When he is alone, Brad realizes he is no better than Carly for keeping the secrets. Once Jack is back inside the house, the kids make an exit - they called a friend's mom to pick them up so Jack and Carly could have a romantic dinner for two. They are stunned. Carly turns to Jack and kisses him. "I wonder what we should do now?" she asks. Jack decides to grab a shower before dinner and leaves Carly, who is beginning to get concerned about her secret.

In Old Town, Brad gets a text message from Katie thanking him for the bunny gifts. He texts her back and they chat for a bit. Katie writes, "Who would have thought you would be the Snyder brother I could trust?"

At the farm, Holden is becoming even more frustrated with Luke because he isn't trying to get better. He isn't working on the physical therapy at all. Luke tries to focus Holden on Lily but Holden won't be swayed and asks why Luke can't see how far he has come already. Luke doesn't see things that way and tells Holden that Noah doesn't think he is getting better either! Seeing that he can't talk any sense into Luke, Holden calls for reinforcements.

Lily runs in to Dusty at the hospital and tells him that Holden has hired a lawyer. They chat over coffee in the cafeteria and Dusty tells Lily to get her own lawyer. She doesn't want a lawyer and tells Dusty that Holden just needs to get over being angry with her. Dusty doesn't believe her. Just then Holden calls and asks to see her. She agrees to come to the farm. Before leaving, she asks Dusty if he is giving up on Emily. Dusty doesn't answer. Lily arrives at the farm, ready to talk about their relationship. Holden sets her straight and says he only called her to talk about Luke! Lily changes her focus and encourages Holden to keep trying with Luke. Holden asks her to get Noah back in the picture but Lily refuses. She says they have to do it together! They find Noah in Old Town and ask him to come to the farm to see Luke. Noah isn't sure that is such a good idea. Holden begs Noah to come to the farm and he finally agrees. They all return to the farm but Noah won't go inside until Luke says it is okay. Holden asks Luke if it is okay for Noah to come inside. Instead Luke goes to the porch where Noah is waiting. Noah isn't sure what to do about Luke, who is incredibly sarcastic about his disability. Noah tells Luke it doesn't matter but Luke just doesn't care about anything anymore.

Emily can't believe that Chris is asking her to stay in Oakdale with him - as in living together! She gets dressed in a hurry, shocked at his suggestion. Chris gives her all the reasons they should move in together when Emily doesn't give him an answer. He asks about her commitment issues and points out that he isn't after a soul-mate; he wants a play-mate! Em still won't say yes so Chris drops the subject. That only makes Emily more nervous about his motives. She kisses him. At the hospital, Chris and Emily run into Bob. Em makes a quick exit to see Susan and Bob invites Chris to the diner for Vienna's signature dish. They leave. Emily runs into Susan in the break room and asks if they can catch up. Annoyed because Chris and Emily have been ignoring their families, Susan makes a smart remark. Emily asks if they can talk about something other than Chris and Susan brings up Dusty! They argue a bit and just as they decide they should agree to disagree, Susan is called away on a consult. Dusty comes around the corner, grabs Emily and pulls her into a hot kiss! Angry, Emily pulls away from Dusty and tells him not to touch her again.

At the diner, Bob brings up how short-staffed they are at the hospital. Chris tells him he is thinking about staying in town and asks about a job. They return to the hospital and Bob tells Chris about a research job. Chris likes that idea. Bob leaves to get the paperwork started. "You really didn't know," Chris says when Bob leaves. Chris continues down the hall and sees Emily order Dusty away from her. He tells Dusty to back off but Dusty won't. Chris gets in his face and Dusty walks away. He asks what it was all about but Emily won't answer. Instead she asks about the job interview and then tells Chris she wants to move in with him! They return to The Lakeview for a drink. In the lounge, Emily sees Dusty and asks Chris if they can order room service instead. She leaves immediately and Chris follows. "Yeah, she's over him," he says to himself.
