Holden talks to a lawyer; Lily learns Carly's secret. Jack has a change of heart. Emily and Dusty have a heart to heart talk; Chris asks Emily about her past.

Lily runs into Holden in Old Town, surprising him. Holden angrily asks about Dusty being with her the night Luke fell. "Why does he always wind up where you are?" Holden asks. Lily tells him it was just coincidence but he doesn't believe her. He turns to leave but Lily demands that he stay and talk to her. Holden keeps the conversation focused on Luke and they decide to work with the physical therapist to keep Luke on the path to recovery. Lily starts to call the therapist right then but Holden says he can't do it today. Lily leaves. A few minutes later Holden runs into his appointment - it's Bonnie and she is going to be his divorce lawyer! Bonnie asks Holden to meet her at Al's for coffee so they can talk things over. Lisa walks up after Holden walks away, looking forward to their lunch date. Bonnie tells Lisa that she can't have lunch and asks for a rain check so she can meet with Holden. Lisa tries to get a little information out of Bonnie but she won't talk about it and walks away. Vienna is taking Holden's order when Bonnie walks in. Vienna calls the other girl a thief! They exchange words and Vienna warns Bonnie to stay away from Henry! Holden gets down to business and begins talking to Bonnie about divorce. She tells him that he needs to take some time before making such a strong decision and points to her own ring-less finger, telling him that she knows where he is coming from. Holden doesn't want to wait, though. Bonnie tells him that she has regrets about divorcing Isaac, a lot of them, and she doesn't want him to have the same regrets that she is dealing with. She asks him to wait a week and promises to be his lawyer. They shake hands.

Carly tries to get Hotchkiss to leave but Jack stops him and asks for answers. Carly gets between the two and the lawyer makes his getaway. Before he can ask more questions, Carly kisses him, trying for a distraction. It doesn't work so she makes up a story about him needing a minor facelift for his company. Jack wants to know how "minor" changes can cost $100,000 and Carly says they want expensive things. Jack buys it and then asks why she thought she had to lie about it. Carly tells Jack that she is only trying to take care of him. Then she brings up Katie and tells Jack that if she would she would change things. Jack tells Carly that his marriage didn't end because of her but she believes it did. He insists that his feelings were always just below the surface and would have come up eventually anyway. They talk about Katie's trip for a second. Jack leaves the table to finish up a job for Lisa. Lily walks up to him and he brings up Carly's new consulting job. Lily has not idea what he is talking about. Luckily, Carly overhears and interrupts before Lily can blow her latest lie. Lily stays quiet but when Jack leaves tells Carly that she knows that law firm specializes in medical malpractice and asks for answers. Carly tells Lily about the misdiagnosis but says she has to keep the truth from Jack until after they are married again! Lily can't believe it. She tells Carly that she can't keep lying to Jack. Lily tells her to come clean right now and not waiting until after she has what she thinks she wants.

Lisa finally finds Lily in the lobby at the Lakeview. Not realizing that Lily doesn't know, Lisa begins to go on about how wonderfully Lily is holding up under the circumstances - Luke's injury and Holden's leaving! Lisa tells Lily about running into Bonnie, that she specializes in matrimonial law and she is meeting with Holden!

Jack walks in to Emma's kitchen, surprised that the house is still so quiet. She tells him the kids are still at school and shows him one of Sage's spelling papers - it's a letter to Santa, asking him to help Jack and Carly get married again. Emma leaves the kitchen and Parker comes in. He tells Jack that he doesn't want their family to be just like it was; he wants things to get different this time around. "Why does someone have to be dead or dying before we can love them?" he asks. Jack heads to Carly's and walks in as she is practicing some kind of speech. She talks about how real Montana was and he agrees with her! He tells her that the kids are at Emma's and they need to talk. Jack insists that Carly go first but Carly tells him that he should tell her his news first. Jack tells her a little about his conversation with Parker, then says he wants to make the most of their time together. "Marry me, Carly," he says.

Dusty meets Emily in the hall at The Lakeview. He asks her if they can talk but Emily hesitates. He asks why she is there and is shocked when she says she is staying there - with Chris! She takes out her room key and invites Dusty inside so he can see that they are really living there. "This isn't just to make you jealous," she says but Dusty isn't so sure. He thinks Emily is playing games. Annoyed, she tells him to face the fact that she has moved on. Dusty won't let the subject go and tells Emily that he still wants her. She tells him the man she wants is Chris! Dusty reminds her about their plans to go away together and calls Chris a "safe guy". Emily throws Lily in his face and shows him the door. In the hall, Dusty tells Emily that Lily is only a friend.
Alison and Chris meet at the hospital. She tells him she might get her old nurse's aide job back and he says he's thinking about taking a staff position, too. He wonders if that will be a problem, given their past. Alison insists that she is over their old love affair. Allie tells Chris that she is happy for his relationship with Emily and that she is happy to see her sister happy. Alison tells Chris to keep Emily happy. Chris leaves.

A few moments later Alison hears from a nurse that her job is practically a shoe-in. A second later she sees Dusty, who is obviously annoyed. He says it's all because of Emily! Annoyed at Emily, he kind of takes it out on Alison, telling her that Emily is trying to get back at both of them by sleeping with Chris! Alison points out that Dusty didn't bother to try contacting Emily while she was away and it is only natural that Em would move on. Dusty walks away, saying it's never too late.
