Bob and Meg ignore Paul's warnings, Casey steals from Will, and Dusty tells Emily she needs to get her priorities straight.
Gwen is excited about finishing the demo! She expresses to Adam how things like that don't usually happen to her. He says she made it happen, and the way she convinced Will to take the money from Barbara took skill. "Don't make it sound like I pressured him into anything. It wasn't like that," she says as the smile disappears from her face. She goes on to say she doesn't blame Will for having to think twice about taking the money from his Mom. He says he was trying to tank the demo, but she disagrees. She asks if he would be this mad at her if she was the one who wanted to say no to Barbara, because she admits she almost did. When he asks her why, she says for a lot of reasons, and if that's what she would have wanted Will would have agreed and came up with another way for them to get the money they needed. He says she always sees the good in Will, but he knows him better. He says if Barbara hadn't stepped up like she did Will would be off in a corner doing a happy dance, because he would have gotten exactly what he wanted. "And what's that?" she inquires. "You - all to himself," he answers.
Casey and Jade watch as Barbara hands the bonds over to Will. Jade comments to Casey that it's all for that demo for Gwen. She says she could think of a million better ways to spend money like that.
Meanwhile, Will tells Barbara he appreciates what she's doing, but making Gwen's dream come true is his job. She says she knows that. He says he's going to pay her back as soon as he can. She says now that they've settled that she needs him to do something for her. He asks if she's serious, because that's an unusual request coming from her. Then he offers to give the money back. He says they don't need it that bad. Shocked by his response, she says all she was trying to do was tell him to be careful with the bonds, because it's a lot of money and anyone can cash them. He says he's going to put them in the safe.
Casey's phone rings. It's Elwood warning him they're in big trouble! He goes on to say his parents found out, and if he doesn't come up with the money he owes him his parents are going to call his parents and tell them. Casey takes the call outside so no one else can hear. He says there's no way he can come up with the money by tomorrow. When Casey asks him if he could talk with his parents, Elwood says he can't. He says they were too angry and he must come up with the money!
Maddie comes downstairs to inform Margo that Daniel locked himself in his room. She says he won't come out. She asks Margo what they're going to do. She says they'll just have to wait until he's ready to talk. She suggests they call Emily, but Margo says she thinks Emily's the reason he won't come out of his room.
As Emily and Dusty chat at Lakeview, she expresses that she could kill Craig for what he's done. She says Margo promised she'd keep Craig away from Daniel, but she says it's not going to do any good, because he'll make excuses to go over, and as long as he keeps it up things will never be over for Daniel. He replies that what happened to Daniel today wasn't Craig's fault it was hers. She's shocked he'd say such a thing! He explains that the sooner she knocks it off the sooner she can start being the kind of mother her kid needs. She says she's not going to sit there and listen to him tell her what a horrible mother she is. He says he's telling her that losing her cool with Montgomery is giving him what he wants. "What does he give you?" he asks. "So he gets to me, so what?" she retorts. "So, stop being a victim," he argues. She says she's not a victim. He reminds her that Daniel is at Tom and Margo's, and she's there letting Montgomery get to her. She says she wants to be there with him to put her arms around him and tell him how much she loves her. He advises her to do it and not let Craig get in her way. "That's easy for you to say," she replies. "Yeah, it is easy for me to say. You're boy's home - he's safe." He lets her know she has to get her priorities straight. She admits he's right and thanks him. She says she needed to hear that. She says she knows she needs to do whatever it takes to get her life back and forget about Craig Montgomery.
At Lakeview, Craig continues to say he had anything to do with Daniel's kidnapping. Lily wants to believe him, but she doesn't understand why Emily would accuse him.
Later, he asks her what's new in her life. She explains her new job and tells him she tried diet pills and they worked, but when Holden found out, she stopped taking them. He said last time he looked Holden didn't have MD behind his name. He asks if she's taking more than the recommended dose. She says of course not. He says then he sees no harm in her taking them, even though she doesn’t need them. She thanks him for being so kind. His phone rings and he has to go. He thanks her for being his only friend in the world. After he leaves, she pulls the pills from her purse and takes one.

At the hospital, Paul continues to try to get Meg to listen to him, but she requests he leave or she'll call security. When she refuses to listen, he purposely knocks the table over! "Why are you doing this?" she asks. He explains that he saw the blood drive poster, and it was covered in blood! She isn't sure what to believe anymore. He cries as he tells her something bad is going to happen. Finally, she says she believes him!
At Crash, while waiting for Will, Gwen recalls Adam's remark about Will doing a happy dance. When Will shows up, she asks him what he would think if she told him she didn't want him to take the money from his mom. He asks if she's serious. She says what she really meant was would he rather cut their losses from the demo if it meant he didn't have to take the money from his mom. "Honestly? Yeah," he says. She says she thought they didn't have secrets, and if he didn't want her to do the demo all he had to do was say something. He asks if she'd really give up the demo for him. She says he knows she'd do anything in the world for him. He says he would never do that, and the only reason he said they had to stop was because Adam was throwing his money around. She asks what made him change his mind. He says she did. He goes on to say when he saw how upset she was he couldn't disappoint her. She smiles. He says if his mom hadn't offered the money they would have found it another way. She says she knew he'd say that. He admits he's not thrilled about her lending them the money, but since they have it they may as well use it. Besides, he says if they gave it back she wouldn't take it. She asks if he's sure he wants to go through with this. "Of course. Your dream is my dream." "How could I forget," she says with a kiss.
Back at the hospital, Paul says they need to shut down the blood drive, but Meg says they can't do that. She asks him to give her a few minutes to talk with Bob. Bob tells Paul he doesn't want to cause a panic, so he asks him to come to his office so they can figure out a way to handle this.
Once in Bob's office, Bob sneaks up behind Paul and gives him a shot. "What was that?" Paul asks. Bob replies that it's for his own good. "How could you do this to me?" he asks Meg. He says he's sorry he has to sedate him, but it really is for his own good. He looks to Meg. "I trusted you and you lied to me."
At the Hughes, Jade approaches Margo saying she didn't mean to crash her dinner party. She says Adam asked her to meet her there so they could talk, but she doesn't think he realized there was a dinner party. Margo says it was a last minute decision. "Well, I hope its okay that I'm here." "Sure," Margo replies with a partial smile, and then walks away.
Back at Lakeview, Lucinda joins Lily, and soon after Dusty arrives to run a business proposal by Lucinda. He says he wants to buy Craig's share of the Intruder. She asks him why. He says he doesn't want to give Montgomery a chance to buy it back. Lily reminds him that Emily owns the other half. He says she needs to know she has the support of a legitimate partner. After thinking about it for a moment, Lucinda says it's not her life long dream to be around Emily, but she says she'll do it if it's going to cause difficulties for Craig. He thanks her then leaves.
Once Dusty's gone, Lucinda looks toward Lily. "You disapprove?" she inquires. "Oh, you think you know me so well," Lily laughs. "Well, I do," Lucinda replies. "Well, do you know that I think this is great? I think it would be great for Craig and Emily to have a fresh start. Make progress… heal… I think it would be great!" Lily adds. Lucinda says she thinks she's going to be sick to her stomach. She goes on to say she doesn't want Craig to heal, she wants him to suffer for all the misery that he's caused their family. "He is family," Lily snaps. As they continue to argue, Lucinda can't believe Lily's actions! "Where the h*** is this coming from?" she asks Lily. She apologizes saying she's just stressed out. Lucinda's phone rings. After she hangs up, she tells Lily she has to go, but before she goes she advises Lily to try and not snap at people, because others aren't' as understanding as she is. The waiter approaches asking if she'd like to try another dessert. Lily refuses, but she says they look good. When he walks away, she pops another pill!
Emily shows up at Tom and Margo's home. She asks to see her son, but Margo tells her it's a bad time because they're planning a party for Tom. She says she won't be long and asks if he's upstairs. When she starts to go in, Margo says she can't let her see him right now.
Once inside, Margo says she's not trying to keep her from seeing her son she's trying to keep her away from Tom. She says she's not going to bother Tom she just wants to make sure Daniel's okay. Daniel comes down and says he's fine. She shows two tickets she got to the Bull's game, and says she thought since his dad wasn't up to going they could go together. He says he doesn't really feel like it. She says that's okay then suggests the two of them go to Java to get some hot chocolate. "I don't wanna go! I don't wanna go anywhere with you," he retorts. Seeing he's upset his mom, he says he didn't mean to make her feel bad. She says that's okay he has nothing to be sorry for. When he goes back up to his room, Emily leaves saying she needs to just back off and give him time.
Later, Barbara arrives at the hospital. She asks bob what he did to him. He says he was violent and irrational and he had to do what was best. She says he gets that way when he has visions. She goes on to say she believes him. Bob's beeper goes off, but he says he'll be back. Barbara approaches Paul; he's on the floor. He tells her to get to the blood drive before it's too late. She says she's sorry this is happening to him. Again, he stresses that she needs to get to the blood drive. "Someone's going to die," he says.
Back at the blood drive, Meg apologizes for the delay. She says the blood drive will start soon. She notices a man deep in thought. She approaches him and says if he's having second thoughts he can always come back. "No, I got to do this now. No body move!" he orders, pulling a gun from his jacket.
Back at the Hughes, Adam asks Jade what she's doing there. She says she thought they had plans. He says that was before he knew about the dinner for Tom, and he really needs to be with his family tonight. "Translation, you don't want me around because you think I have no place here." "Jade, you and I aren't family. We're no where close to that," he replies. She tells him to quit pushing her away. He interrupts saying they're nowhere close to being family. "Wow, at least you're honest about it," she says. He asks what that's supposed to mean, and she brings up Gwen. He says it's not about Gwen. Not convinced by his response, she says she told Lily she wouldn't be another guys second choice, but that's exactly how he's making her feel. More sweetly this time he says they'll talk tomorrow. She tells him not to be surprised if he gets her voice mail. "Watch out. When Jade's not happy things have a way of going south," Maddie cautions, coming out the door.
Back at Crash, Lisa hands Will the combination to the safe, and tells him he can come back any time tomorrow to pick up the bonds. He thanks her saying they appreciate it. She says it's no problem, and tells Gwen he must appreciate her a lot to go through all this. Then she turns to Will and says she's sure it wasn't easy for him to accept help from his mom. She goes on to say she hopes he thanked her. He says he did. She says it's getting late and she has a meeting at Lakeview that she must attend. Before she goes she asks him to lock up, and she asks if he knows how to set the alarm. He says Casey's showed him how to set the alarm millions of times.
Will suggests Gwen go to dinner, but she says she could come with him. He says he's got a lot of studying to do. Before she goes they kiss, and she tells him she's never going to be able to thank him enough. "Just tell me you love," he smiles. "I love you. I love you. I love you," she repeats. They share one last kiss before she goes.
As he places the bonds into the safe, Casey hides, watching silently! He closes the safe back, locks the door and sets the alarms on his way out. Once he's gone, Casey shuts off the alarm, unlocks the door, opens the safe and takes the bonds!
