Lily informs Jade that she's not taking the diet pills anymore. Jade says with her new job she won't even need them, because it won't be long and her clothes will be falling off her. Lily comments that she sounds like her mom giving her pep talks.
Later, Lily asks Jade about Adam. She says every time they make plans he cancels them. She goes on to say he's obsessed about making this demo with Gwen. She says maybe he's a workaholic, but Jade believes his heart just isn't in it. As their conversation continues, she asks Lily if it's okay to talk about sex with her. "Sure," Lily says. Jade spills all. Telling her she and Adam got intimate, but she says she stopped him. Lily adds that she sounds a lot like her mother (Rose). Jade thanks her for the talk then leaves.
Will tells Adam there's no more money. "Then the project's dead!" Adam replies, leaving Gwen shocked. Will apologizes to Gwen, but she says she's the one who should be apologizing, because she was using his money. Barbara overhears and offers her help. She asks how much they need, but Will and Gwen say she doesn't have to help. Adam, on the other hand, says they need five grand. She asks them if ten will do. "I don't think that's a good idea," Will counters. She says it's a loan and they can pay her back later. She says she believes in Gwen too, and it's a risk she's willing to take. He still doesn't like the idea. "Will, what is your problem?" Adam asks. Barbara advises him to do it for is wife. Reluctantly, he accepts the offer.
Gwen walks Barbara out, and Adam tries to find out what Will's problem is. He says he doesn't want to be in that kind of situation, but Adam says it's worth it.
Outside, Gwen asks about Paul. She says he suffered some brain damage from his accident, and he refuses to take any more tests and has disappeared. She's afraid he's on the verge of a break down.
At the hospital, Meg continues to fret over losing her patient, but Bob tells her to take a deep breath and continue being the excellent nurse that she is.

At the cabin, Paul's vision about the hospital continues to torment him. He grabs his coat and head out the door!
Paul arrives at the hospital to warn Bob there is real danger there! As he warns Bob, Meg walks up. "I can't believe you're doing this again. It's sick!" she says. She turns to Bob telling him this is what Paul does. She says he sets things up so he can play the hero. "That's not true," Paul defends. She says he's trying to get her to take him back. "Only that's not going to happen so give it up," she finishes, turning to Paul. Bob says they'll have to do this later, because he got a call to surgery. She turns around to apologize to Bob, but he's gone. She turns back to Paul. "How could you do this? You know how important this job is to me!" "Meg, the last thing I want to do is hurt you. I would do anything to get this whole thing to stop. I've tried everything I can to stop seeing the things I'm seeing. Nothing's working." "How many times have I told you to see a neurologist?" she says. He agrees to see a neurologist, but asks her to help him. He says whatever is going to happen is going to happen there. "I'm sorry, but I don't have time for a scavenger hunt. I have an important project to run for the hospital and I'm late as it is."
After she walks away, he turns around and notices the flyer for the blood drive hanging on the bulletin board. He stares at it. "Blood drive," he says. He asks a nurse where the blood drive is. "It's right in front of you," she says. He looks to see Meg sitting at the table.
Back at Margo and Tom's, Emily is trying to explain things to Daniel. Craig approaches Daniel, but Emily scolds him for going near her son. Margo sends Daniel out of the room then tells Emily she doesn't want her there. Emily expresses that she can't believe she's letting Craig in the house after what he done to Daniel. She goes on to say she doesn't want him there around her son. Margo says she'll keep an eye on Daniel. Again, she asks her to leave. She says her being there is too stressful on Tom.
After Emily leaves, Margo confronts Craig about selling his share of the paper to a man who kidnapped Daniel. He says he had nothing to do with Daniel's kidnapping. She recalls him coming to the hospital, and says he was very upset. He says he was worried about her and Tom. She says he may have been worried, but she also says he's guilty because Emily's right. She goes on to say he hired a thug to go after her because she sided with Dusty. He tells her to be honest. He says she doesn't care about Emily anymore than he does. She says she's Danny's mother, and anything he does to Emily affects her family. She reminds him that the man she loves is upstairs recovering from heart surgery. He tells her it's going to be okay because Tom's strong. She throws her hands in the air. He says she knows he wouldn't hurt her. "But you do hurt me. You hurt me. You hurt Tom. You hurt Danny." He suggests she get some rest, but she asks him to go. He offers to make her a cup of tea or something. "Tea? Get out of here," she says, leaving the room. Before he leaves, he places flowers he brought on the back of the couch.
Before going back to work, Gwen approaches Adam. She says Will's not losing her. He says he isn't saying it's logical, it's just that the more involved she gets with her career the more it probably changes his impression of what he thought married life was going to be. "Maybe he thought he couldn't keep up," he adds. She says that's not true. He points out that he didn't seem too upset that he was going to have to pull the plug. He goes on to say Barbara practically had to beg him to give him the money. She says it's her dream and he's committed to her. He says that's good, adding that it's great Barbara's coming up with a big stack of bonds to tide them over. Jade shows up. She overhears their conversation about the bonds. "Will's mom is giving you money?" she asks. He confirms saying they had a bit of a budget crisis and she's loaning them ten grand. "Well aren't you the lucky girl. Rich husband. Rich mother-in-law…" she says to Gwen. "We're paying her back," Gwen retorts. Adam cuts in telling her him and Gwen are in the middle of something. She reminds him that he asked her to come by so they could talk about stuff. He says they do need to talk, but first he needs to finish up with Gwen. He asks if they can meet later. She says she'll wait for him outside his mom's house, but she says she doesn't feel like freezing to death, and asks him to call her if he gets tied up.
Later, Gwen thanks Adam for helping her, but he says it's all her.
At Lakeview, Lily spots Emily and asks her how Daniel is doing. She says he's a mess. "Was he hurt," she asks with concern. "Not physically, but he was definitely traumatized." As they talk, Emily notices Craig coming in. She tells Lily it's because of him. "He had Daniel kidnapped!" Excusing himself for a moment, he grabs Emily by the arm and pulls her aside. "Get your hands off of me!" she exclaims, jerking away. "Keep it up, Emily, and I will make sure you really pay," he threatens. Lily interrupts. "Is there a problem?" she asks. "You're looking at him," Emily replies. "You stay away from me, and you stay away from my son," she warns Craig. After she walks away, Lily asks Craig what's going on. She says it sounds like he had something to do with Daniel's kidnapping. He explains what happened with the Intruder. He says his whole family has turned against him. "At least you still have some friends." "Name one," he laughs. "You have me. I don't always agree with everything you do, but I am still your friend."
Will arrives at Margo and Tom's to talk with Barbara. Margo leaves them alone saying she's going to check on Tom. He apologizes to his mom for being ungrateful. She hands him the bonds. He accepts them, but says he's going to pay her back just as soon as he can. "No hurry," she says. Casey walks through the door just in time to see the exchange. Jade tells him that the envelope is filled with registered bonds. She goes on to say Barbara is lending Will the money to help Gwen finish the demo. "Registered bonds. That's just as good as cash," he whispers to Jade. "$10,000 worth," she whispers back. "What? $10,000," Casey responds with curiosity. "She's just carrying it around in her purse," Jade says.
Back at the hospital, Paul announces to everyone that the blood drive is over, and he points them to the exit. "Hey, what are you doing?" Meg asks, getting up from the table. "I figured out what it is that I saw." "Okay, you know what, this is crazy, and if you don't leave here now I'm calling security!" "You got to get everybody out of here or somebody's going to die!"
Next on As the World Turns…
