As the World Turns - DAILY UPDATES

At the hospital, Gwen arrives at Tom's room but finds his bed empty. The nurse isn't sure she's family so she says she can't give her any information. Adam shows up and informs her he's been taken for tests. As they two of them talk, he flashes back to the hug they shared.

Katie tells Mike she can't believe he's there. As they cuddle on the couch, she says she can't believe how much time she wasted trying to get Carly and Simon arrested. She says she just wanted him to know that. As they begin to kiss, the doorbell rings. It's Henry delivering the news about Simon and Carly. Katie says that's great news, but Henry says she misunderstood him. He clarifies saying they escaped together. Mike asks if she's okay. She says says she is. She just didn't expect it to happen that way.

After Mike leaves to check on Jack, Katie gives Henry the good news about her and Mike. She says nothings going to pull them apart again. "Sorry Bubbles, something already did," he says. She says he doesn't know anything about their marriage and it's a fact that they're back together. He apologizes asking how it happened. She explains Tom's heart attack and Daniel going missing brought them closer together like it often does. He says a crisis will do that. She says he makes it sound like a temporary thing and it's not. She goes on to say they slept together. He shocks her when he says she slept with Simon too, but that didn't bring him back.

Later, she says he would never do what Simon did--sleep with her then walk away. Henry says he just did. She starts to shut the door in his face, but he catches it asking her if it sounds weird that all of a sudden he decides to leave to check on Jack. She says he's a nice guy. He probably thought they could use the time alone together to talk. He says he sure left in a hurry. She says he probably thought she was asking too many questions about Simon and thought she was going off the deep end again. She catches her self, realizing what she just said. She rushes to the phone to call him, but Henry stops her asking what she's going to say! She says he's right, if she calls, he'll think she's thinking about Simon again and she's not. She goes on to say she'll just wait for him to get back and make it all about him. "Mike and I are starting a new life and I'm not going to blow it this time!" she expresses. When she suggests he turn over a new leaf too, he hands her money thanking her for bailing him out. She asks what happened with his case. He explains that the DA accepted his story about Simon kidnapping him. She thinks it's great he got a second chance. He asks what she's going to do with her second chance. She says she's going to make Mike the happiest guy in the world. "How?" he asks. "By giving him what he's always wanted."

At Carly's place, Jack instructs the boys to pack their clothes so they can leave. While packing Sage asks if they can go see mommy, but Jack says they can't. Parker interrupts saying she's not coming back because she left. Cutting Parker short, Jack explains to Sage that he doesn't know when her mommy's coming back. Parker jumps in again telling Jack to tell her the truth, but Jack asks him to stop because he's scaring his sister. "Sorry Sage," Parker says. Jack notifies Sage that he's not going anywhere. "She didn't say she was going away. Doesn't she love us anymore?" Sage replies. He tells her she loves them very much, and no matter where she is, she loves her with all her heart. JJ steps in and tells his little sister it will be fun living with Jack. JJ offers to help her pack.

While JJ and Sage are upstairs, Jack confronts Parker about telling Sage their mom isn't coming back.

At Java, Emily continues to worry about Daniel. She picks up a missing poster from the table and cries. Her phone rings. She thinks it may be the police with word on Daniel, but when she answers its Daniel! She asks if he's okay. He says he is, and tells her he's at his grandma's house. When he asks her to come pick him up, she says she's on her way. Dusty stays behind. His phone rings. He asks about his son, and then he says he's on his way.

While having coffee at Java, Adam informs Gwen that he's planning their next trip to LA. He goes on to say Richards has been calling him a lot making noises about putting her on his label. She says that's incredible news, and asks why he didn't tell her. He says he's telling her now. "It's a trip you can't say no to," he adds. "So, we're going on a trip, huh," Will says, joining them at the table.

Emily arrives at her mom's house to get Daniel, but Tull comes out and grabs her! "You made a mistake messing with me Emily, and now you're going to pay," he says. Daniel watches in fear. "Don't hurt my mom!" he shouts. She asks what he wants from her. He says he wants her to sign the papers. When he asks where her boyfriend is, she says he's not there and he isn't her boyfriend. He says she's going to pay for what Dusty done to him. Holding a knife, he forces her to sign the papers saying, "That kids going to watch you die." Suddenly, Dusty comes barging in! There's a struggle! "Mom, Mom!" Daniel yells.

Later, the police are arrive. They wheel Tull out on a stretcher with a blanket pulled over him. Dallas approaches Emily and Daniel, but she informs him she doesn't believe Daniel is up to answering any questions right now. An officer comes in to ask if they have a name of the guy. Emily explains the whole story to Dallas. He wants to ask a few more questions, but she asks if they could put it off until the next day. He understands it's not a good time right now, but he says because of the way things ended up he needs to ask. She says Dusty saved them. When he asks how Dusty knew she was in trouble, she says she doesn't know. All she knows is she asked him to meet her at her mom's place. Dusty comes up and says maybe he should answer the questions. Dallas tells Emily they'll continue in the morning, but he asks Dusty to stick around for questions. He agrees, but asks for a few minutes with Emily first.

After Dallas walks away, she says she doesn't know how to thank him for saving them. He says it was nothing. She asks about the call about Johnny, but he says it was a dead end.

Back at Carly's place, Parker tells Jack he knew something was going to happen to his mom, and brings up the jewels. He asks how he knew about that. He says kids talk at school, and then he blames him for what happened. "I hate you! I hate you," Parker says. While they argue, Mike listens from outside the door. After Parker storms off, Mike walks in.

"Hey man, the door was open."
"You heard that didn't you?"
Yeah."
"What do you want?" Jack asks.
"To help if I can," he offers.

Jack says he guesses he heard about Simon and Carly and would like to know how it happened. Mike says he doesn't owe anyone an explanation, but Jack tells him anyway. Sticking with his story, he says Simon knocked him out and cuffed him to the table. "You let them go didn't you," Mike replies. He says he didn't. He goes on to say he and Carly made promises to each other and those kids. He says they should have thought a little harder about things before having the kids.

Parker, Sage and JJ come back downstairs. They're packed and ready to go. Jack shuts the lights out, takes one look back, sighs, then leaves.

Back at Java, Will asks about the trip. Gwen explains and asks if he's going to come with. He says he is. Adam gives them the date as next Wednesday, but Will says he can't go because he has tests next week. Adam says he forgot that Will told him next week was tied up. "I'm sorry, I should have made a note of that," he continues. Gwen says she really wants Will to be there. She asks if maybe they could call Richards and ask if he can schedule it for a more convenient time. He doesn't think that's a good idea, and Will agrees, but Gwen says she really wants him to be there. He insists she go.

When Will walks away to make a phone call, Adam asks if she's okay with this. She says she is. This time he flashes back to their kiss in LA. He says they're going to have fun and he's going to make her a star! She smiles as they talks about her future in the music business. He says one day she'll be on stage and thank him for it. He goes on to say she reaches people with her music. She says, "So, when I get all these awards I don't have to thank you." "You better thank me," he says. She thanks him for everything. "You have everything it takes to be a superstar." "Thank you," she repeats. "You are the most beautiful woman I've ever known." Will returns to say he arranged it where he could be there too. He says he called Mr. Richards and asked if he could arrange to come to Chicago instead. He goes on to say Mr. Richards agreed. Gwen is happy about it, but Adam doesn't seem too thrilled.

After they leave, Iris arrives. I think I know a certain musician who wants to take a trip with my daughter all alone." He gets up to leave, but she tells him not to run off so fast. She says she knows he has a thing for her daughter. She goes on to say Will's pockets aren't as deep as they once were, and once Gwen starts making millions and he has nothing he won't stand for it. He says that could take a while, but she offers to help him so they can both get what they want.

At Will's place, Gwen hugs him saying he's her hero. He jokes saying he wants to meet the guy to make sure he's going to do right by her. She says she knows the reason he didn't want her to go to LA was because of what happened with Adam the first time. He says he knew that wouldn't happen again. She says it won't. "And I believe you," he says. "You have nothing to fear from Adam. He knows that we're a team, and he would never, never try to get in the way of that," she replies.

Mike comes back and Katie greets him in sexy lingerie. She asks him to make love again saying she wants a family more than anything in the world. "I'm sorry, I can't do this," he replies.

Once home, Jack instructs the kids to go to bed. He says they'll unpack in the morning. After they go upstairs, he hears a noise. He grabs his gun to check it out, but he's surprised when his brother, Brad, greets him!

When Katie asks Mike what wrong, he pulls out an envelope and says, "Why didn't you tell me about this?"

"Hey, Carly's the one that checked out on you. I didn't dump three kids on you, she did," Brad says to Jack.

Paul's visions continue.

A man enters the hospital with a gun. "Nobody move!" he says.
