Carly kisses a comatose Jack goodbye. Margo finds Tom unconscious on the floor! Lucinda offers Lily a job.
At Holden and Lily's place, Lily offers Faith and her friend chocolate chip cookies. When she leaves to give Stormy (the horse) an apple, she runs into Lucinda outside. She apologies for snapping at her. She tells Lily she spends too much time taking care of everyone else, but Lily says that's what a mother's supposed to do. Lucinda comments that she's beautiful and that she's just obsessed about her appearance. She asks what she's supposed to do. Lucinda offers her a job working for her. She say's it's a pity job, but she tells her not to be ridiculous. Holden arrives just in time to hear the good news. Lily asks his opinion. He shocks her when he says he hopes she turns it down.
Back inside the house, Faith asks her friend how she eats so much and stays so skinny. She says she guesses she burns it off, and then adds nobody in her family really gains weight. "Like mother like daughter," she finishes.
Back Outside, Holden says she has too much to handle already, and just the other day she promised Faith she'd spend more time with her. She says Faith doesn't need her, but when Faith yells for her, he says she needs you now. As she goes to check on Faith, Lucinda advises him not to be so hard on her. Her beeper goes off; she asks if he's on board before she leaves. "Yes, if that's what she wants," he replies.
Lily asks Faith how she would feel if she went back to work. She says it would be awesome that she should defiantly do it. She reminds her she'd be gone all day. She says she doesn't need her home to supervisor her. Holden says he's going to lock up the barn, Lily asks Faith if she's going to ride with her or her dad. She says she still has to gather up the cookies. Lily tells her she loves her then leaves.
Once alone, she remembers her friend saying, "like mother like daughter." "I'm not like her. I'm not," she says, stuffing the cookies into her mouth.

At the hospital, Tom is dreaming about Daniel. When he wakes up, he tells Margo he has to get out of there because Daniel needs him, but she says if he charges out of there and has another heart attack then what will Daniel have to come home to. He blames hisself for what happened, but she says it's not his fault. He says he should have told Emily no, but she says he was just trying to be fair. He orders her to tell him what's going on or he says he'll check himself out! To satisfy him she reveals what she knows so far.
Later, Margo comes back in with Tom's paper but finds him unconscious on the floor!
Tull shows up at Java. Dusty informs him he'll get Emily's signature on the papers as soon as she gets Daniel. He says he doesn't know where Daniel is. Then he says if he tells them anything how does he know they're not wearing a wire, but Emily assures him they have no wire. Again, she demands to know where her son is, but he sticks with his story. However, he does say there's an empty warehouse where they found a missing boy last year. Emily grabs her coat and she and Dusty rush out of Java!
Barbara stops Meg before she can leave. She begs her to go help Paul, but she says the days of her rescuing Paul are over. She continues to beg saying she's the only one who can help Paul. She goes on to explain the vision he had about her. Then she says it came true--it happened just the way he said it would. "He's been right too many times. Meg. You can't keep missing that."
At the cabin, Paul tells Parker his mom is in some serious trouble. Parker asks how he knows she's in trouble. He explains that he can see things. He says something bad is happening now, because his dad is driving her to the police station. Parker explains the situation with his mom and Simon. He believes she doesn't care about them anymore, but Paul remarks that sometimes people screw up even if they love you more than anything.
Later, Parker conveys his feelings about his mom leaving them. As they talk, Paul has another vision, but this time he sees Carly's face. When he comes back to reality, he tells Parker he's wrong about his mom she didn't go to jail, she got away! He says he doesn't care if he ever sees his mom again and runs out of the cabin. "Parker, Parker!" Paul yells.
A little while later, Paul calls Barbara and asks her to get a hold of the PD for him. He says it's about Carly. She says she will.
At Jack's, Carly offers her hands for him to cuff, but he says he has a better idea. He throws the handcuffs to Simon. He instructs him to knock him out and cuff him so he and Carly can escape. Carly is hysterical! "No, just wait!" she screams. She asks Jack if he's lost his mind, but he says it has to look real. He instructs her to turn around so Simon can knock him out before he changes his mind. She follows his orders. Simon apologizes to Jack for what he's about to do, and then he knocks him over the head!
Before Simon and Carly leave, Carly tells a comatose Jack she'll never forget what he done for her, and she kisses him saying she'll never forget him.
Dusty and Emily arrive at the warehouse. With a flashlight, they search for Daniel. Emily calls his name then notices something! "No, no, Dusty, no!" she cries. He dashes over to check on her! She shows him a piece of Daniel's clothing. She sobs asking where her little boy is. He gives her his coat and orders her to stay there. She says she's going with him, but he says, "No, you can't!" After he leaves, she falls to the floor crying uncontrollably!
Outside Tom's room, Meg yells at Barbara to leave her alone. She says there's nothing more she can do for him. They hear Margo yell for help!
Once inside Tom's room, Meg gives him some medicine to help bring his heart rate back down, and to help him sleep. He says he doesn't want to sleep; he wants to be out looking. Margo asks if he really plans to check hisself out. He says he's Daniel's father. She reminds him he's also her husband, and she plans on spending the rest of their "long, long" lives together. She goes on to say he got a second chance and he can't waste it. "You can't let anything happen to you again."
Soon after, she leaves his room to use the phone at the nurses' station. She calls Dale. He asks about Tom. She says he's much better, but they're going to have to tie him down if they don't get some news on Danny. "What? When did that come in? Uh, I'll be right there!" she says.
Back at the warehouse, Dusty forcefully pulls Tull into the warehouse demanding answers. When he doesn't give them to him, Dusty punches him in the stomach! Tull continues to say he doesn't know anything. Dusty rips the papers up and throws them at him! Once Dusty and Emily leave, Tull gets on the phone. "Who dropped the ball? I don't care, find them!"
Margo and the cops arrive at Jack's house. He sticks with the plan saying Simon knocked him out and took off. When the other offers are out of the room, Margo asks, "So Jack, you're going to stick with that story?" "Why, you got a problem with it?" "Just one," she replies. She goes on to say he's too good of a cop to let Carly get to him, and she knows he still loves her. She says she won't tell anybody. He wonders how this happened. He says they were so close to having everything.
"I know how you feel," Margo sympathizes.
"It's only the beginning, cause now I got to figure out how to live without her," he cries.
"You know, earlier today I was trying to figure out the same thing. If Tom didn't make it what was I going to do, thank God I didn't have to answer that question."
"Go on Margo, for the kids. You have to. You make plans. You go to work. You keep your word. Put one foot in front of the other. I'll be okay," he sighs.
"No, it's going to be a long time before you're any where near okay my friend," she replies with a hug.
On the plane, Carly says Jack didn't do it for the kids he done it for her. She goes on to say she didn't think he loved her, but now she realizes he does. "What about you, do you still love him?" Simon inquires. She says he's a part of her, a part of her children, and she will "always, always" love him. He says he's not asking her to stop loving him he's just trying to understand what happened between the two of them. She says she thinks he finally forgave her for being the woman she is and not the woman he'd hoped she would turn into.
"I'm never going to want you to change for me," he says.
"But I have changed, or maybe I've just become more myself."
"Look at me. If you want to go home…"
"I can't. He's better off without me. So are the kids," she cuts him short.
"And you really believe that?"
"I wouldn't be here if I didn't. Besides, I love you."
"Say it again."
"I love you. You’re my future. You’re my life now."
"Your mine too. I'm going to make this right Carly… for all of us."
Back at Java, a lady asks Parker where he's been. She says she's been calling all over for him. He says he's sorry he didn't tell her he was leaving then he asks her to call Jack again. He says he needs to know if he took his mom to the police station. She says she didn't go to jail; she got away.
Back at the cabin, Paul is on the phone with Barbara again. "So, Carly did get away from the cops?" he asks. She asks him how he knew she was going to escape, but he says he doesn't want to talk about it. "You've had another vision. You can't keep trying to hide this," she says. "Look, I gotta go," he says. After hanging up the phone, he grows very angry saying he doesn't want to see anything else! He throws the phone!
At the farm, Meg informs Holden she keeps telling Barbara she's better off without Paul. Are you or do you just wish you were?" Holden asks.
"Goodbye Carly," Jack says standing outside gazing into the night sky.
"Goodbye Jack," Carly says sitting on the plane.
