Hi everyone! It's the day after a very emotional finale and I am still sad. It's been a very emotional past two weeks for me. I thought the finale was wonderful plus the 8 minutes of deleted scenes of Parker/Faith and Craig/Rosanna. The narration by Bob was great and the ending very moving and appropriate.

For me, Reid's death cast a very long shadow for me and I could feel anger and bitterness rising within me as one straight couple after another were having their HEAs. It was a travesty and the alternate ending that I have in my mind is that LuRe are happily in love, are pillars of the community and raising their children, then passing away after living very long lives. And Chris living too having received that heart in Bay City.

In my alternate ending, everyone gets their HEAs with Lisa and Susan getting theirs too with some unexpected love. Same with Molly in LA.

I started watching ATWT when I was in middle school 34 years ago. I always watched ATWT during my school vacation and the summers. I remember when Lily and Holden first met. Frannie and Sabrina. Betsy and Steve. I always took it for granted, never once expecting that one day ATWT would stop airing. Though I remain sad, I also feel gratitude in my heart for the gift of ATWT. It made my childhood bearable and encouraged my imagination.

I will never forget the characters of OD, past and present. I thank all of my fellow ATWT lovers who have posted so many wonderful, engaging, entertaining and funny comments over the years for enhancing my enjoyment of ATWT. I also would like to thank the dedicated and talented cast and crew of ATWT who gave me hundreds and hundreds of hours of amazing stories and great acting over the years. I wish them future success in their lives. To all my fellow ATWT lovers, I wish you joy, happiness, love, compassion and equanimity in your lives.

Carly and Jack, when you appeared on screen I instantly feel in love with you as a couple and I was there through all of your ups and downs and I was glad for your happy ending. I wish the very best to the cast of ATWT for you have been a part of my life ever since I knew what a soap opera was. I am very sad at losing a big part of my life, you were family. It has been a sad week for me and many of your fans. Thanks again for the wonderful episodes. "Goodnight"

I did like the way the show ended, but I was upset at a few things. Lisa could have been shown a little more, after all she was w/the show forever. Luke should have gotten a much happier ending then just an oh well, he will eventually find happiness again. No offense to NB, but MB's Lily should have been the one to end w/Holden. I was happy at the way they ended things for Casey and Ali, but especially Parker. It was a smart move about the police academy(gracious nod to his fathers). Always knew J&C and J&D would end happy. Like Katie and Chris, but will always want Brad w/her. Overall a fine ending to a remarkable show. I do hope a lot of these actors find another soap or some sort of acting job in the future. After all ATWT is known for the many stars that they have produced.

I cried, I laughed, and cried again. I guess I have to reprogram my vcr again. My husband said, I guess you won't need 5 tapes anymore. You can probably get more than 1 day on a tape now. I have been watching ATWT for many many years. When I worked I taped them and would watch them at night, and my husband watched too. I became disabled 14 years ago and had a long recovery after brain surgery. I looked forward to watching my soaps. Now 2 are gone. I hope that Y&R can hold on. My son is 32yrs old, and when he was little and I'd watch he called it the young and the wrestlers.
I knew it was Dusty's baby. Thanks to our beloved John Dixon everyone knows. I never liked Janet and Liberty, but I thought their ending was good.
It seems like some of our favorites weren't asked back.
I'm glad that Holden and Lily didn't get together.
I am so sorry to say this but Goodnight ATWT and all of her faithfull friends and family.

Your welcome guys! I liked the missing 9 minuets. I thought it added a lot. I felt like something was missing before, like Craig and Parker. It was great to know that they were originally included in the show. But you’re right sweetcaoline it was all about the commercials, and there was plenty of them.

Well another good soap taken off the air and one really bad one left on b&b. I guess you have to keep up with the people in this world and how they live so they can get those ratings and that almighty buck. Who cares about someone always having sex and how many logan sister eric can marry. Or how many kids heads are mixed up in these affairs. How many times can one man want to remarry someone who has done him the way she has (brook). I got tired of watching it til atwt came on then found out if you leave your tv on it still counts as if your watching it. So I started turning it off or the chanel I in no way want to help the ratings on this show. The best show was guiding light. But as long as these shows has been on I guess to keep the ratings up you have to go with what the public wants even if it is wrong. I would have rather seen them go off air as to continue seeing the ungodly things happening on these shows.
