I am sad that my favorite soap show is over forever. I grew up , watching it. I really wanted more of Lisa to be shown, and happy in love. She was once the wife of Bob Hughes, and the prettiest, best actress on the show. I wanted it clear that once Meg got well, she would get her baby girl back from Emily. Emma should have been in the ending somehow. Enough people lived at her farm for many, many years. I enjoyed John Dixon so much. I have always liked him. The ending led us to believe that Lilly and Holden will reconcile and marry again. So, goodbye, and goodnight ATWT. I will miss you so much. I won't be watching the game show that is taking your place.

I'm crying now T_T! I've been watching ATWT for many years and it tears me apart to see everyone in oakdale not on my television screen anymore. Especially carly and jack, my favorite couple. To be honest, I really watch the show for carly, jack, henry, barbara, and reid when he entered the storyline. I was excited that jack and carly are finally married again, this time for real. On top of that, they're having a baby. They should've had another baby in the first place. All of the carjack fans (me too) craved another carjack baby. Now we won't know if the baby is a boy or girl, or twins. The show shouldn't never been cancelled. They just need new writers. Cbs has lost my interest after 12:30. Whatever they have on in place of the funniest, sexiest, addicting soap opera ever will be nothing but crap. I still have y&r and b&b. If they get cancelled too, cbs will have no viewers for daytime period. Hey, at least maura west, my favorite..favorite..favorite..favorite actress of all time will be on y&r. She's like a third mom to me. (My mom, my stepmom, and maura lol) michael park, I didn't forget you. You are like a third father to me. Both you and maura are amazing at what you do. You're my favortest actor ever. I love you both and everyone else at ATWT too. Hugs and kisses goodnight

I remember laying on the couch with German Measels hearing the music for this show at my Grandma's house, over 50 years ago! I lost mt Grandma in 1985 and this show made me still feel a connection to her and now it's gone. She loved the Hughes Family. I cried like a baby thru the whole show cos' of all the memories with her and As The World Turns! What a terrific cast of actors and actresses! Godspeed!

I never thought this show going off the air would make me feel so sad....though it is a show that I have watched practically everyday for practically 40 years...OMG! (I didn't realize I was that old!) LOL It is a shame that they didn't have the best writers until the end. It was so wonderful to see John Dixon and Lucinda together again! They should have had someone for Lisa....I think she was a bit jealous!Although I didn't post a lot I enjoyed reading the comments....perhaps we could meet in the lounge.....Goodnight and God Bless all!

My first memories of ATWT are being home from school sick {45+ years ago} and hearing the music start playing. Listening to it while eating my tomato soup and getting crumbs from my toast all over the place on my bed. The sound of that music brings back the memories of what my life was then. I think that's another reason why we are crying. For the memories of our own lives ATWT.
