Cards 1 ITA about Emma, Meg and Reid's endings. I have never been a huge Meg fan, but Emily chasing Tom, lying to Holden saying she was preg with his baby, treated Hal like crap, shot Paul, kidnapped Dusty and then even thought she's rich and owns a paper becomes a prostitute. and the list could go on and on. JMO not a great role model. I didn't blame Emma if that was my grandbaby I would never want Emily raising her. But the ending is already written so we'll just have to live with it. So sad about Reid.

I most definately agree with Cards1. Everyone just literally ignored poor grief striken Luke when Reid was brought in. Katie was the only one who held him and cried with him. Good grief! This man was Luke's love!! They all gathered in the waiting room, ignorning poor Luke. I hope Holden and Lilly get there tomorrow. I hate everything about how this has been handled. I know it is only a show...but why did Reid have to die such a terrible, tragic death? My husband saw a lot more sobbing today, from me, than in the one the other day. He still says "it is just a show"..but ATWT as always seemed so real to me. Goodbye, sweet, brave, Reid. I know you would not want luke to be ignored by that clan the way he was today.

MY heart is broken right now...I'm still sobbing...Luke's last words to Reid were beyond heart-wrenching...and the one last kiss between them...the look on Luke's face...the pain in his eyes...to say it's not fair doesn't even come close...I'm pretty sure you all know how I feel about Luke and Reid...yes, they are gay, but they are far more than that...they are two people who brought to life one of the greatest love stories for the ages...and I am honored that their story was shared with me...it touched me in so many ways and on so many levels...I will always be grateful for having them both in my life...even though it was not nearly long enough...

I choose the ending to their love story as was beautifully written by "Keeping It Real Too"...and I again thank "Keeping It Real Too" for sharing such a happily ever after.....

Luke and Reid will always live in my heart and mind...enough said on my part...

"North of the Border"---I've missed you! Glad you are back to ride out the end of ATWT with me...you kept your promise...thank you for that...

Barb G, I will watch to the end... I had to go through almost two weeks by myself... so at least we can watch it.

I agree that Holden and Lily were conspicuous in their absence... and I do think Margo would've been a good person to have called them... but then Margo is another character that is interesting once and now...

I don't think reid was sacrificed so much for Chris as he was for Noah.. the powers decided long ago to make Nuke the end game... Chris was just convenient..

I LOVE the Dallas ending... I choose too to believe that Reid is coming back in the shower!

I am hard pressed to articulate what I'm feeling right now. Angry, disgusted, disillusioned and very sad come pretty close, though. Gotta give Luke props for the way he handled it. He was able to look beyond his own grief and honour Reid's wishes. I would have howled like a banshee! They had BETTER donate a wing of that hospital to the memory of Dr. Reid Oliver. Tsk. Today's episode was a tragedy and a travesty rolled into one.

I love this soap and I will so very much miss it! I am still reeling trying to cope with never seeing again. I am just disgusted with CBS for canceling it and I will NOT ever watch its replacement - I will turn the channel on CBS. The ONLY CBS show I will watch is the The Young and the Restless just because I have many years invested in that soap too. CBS can just kiss my a**!!!!! That being said....I hate that they chose to kill off Reid - He was becoming my very favorite character on that show. I loved all of his scenes. I believe it was done so Nuke could be brought back together - boring as they had become! What a disgrace! I am glad that Chris got his heart though...just wish Reid could have brought back the one he went to Bay City for instead! I have been so very sad and cannot imagine having to say goodbye to my favorite soap - those characters feel like friends & family. What a shame! Shame on CBS! I hope the new show bombs.

does anyone know what they are putting in place of ATWT? I am sad that it is ending. I have been a fan for several years. To me it seems that the story lines in the past year or so haven't been as good. Especially, Mick/James connection, Iris coming back and a couple more. Oh well, I guess that is why I don't get paid the big bucks to write for the soaps:)

sweetcaoline you are entitled to your opinion and you got your wish, must you rub it in? The show is almost over, I can't stand Emily but I wouldn't cheer if they threw her in front of a train, she does have fans that will miss her.

Missguidinglight I feel like you to a certain point I do not agree with men and men/ woman and woman relationships however i think if a person choose that thet is them.I also think this show was bold to allow what is going on oin real life be brought to the t.v. which is Luke/Noah/ Reid. Now I was very sad for Luke today that he lost Reid and I had grown to like Reid he and Luke were much better together then Noah.I think it was a twist that Reid lost his life and Chris will receive his heart I howerver wish they would have let Reid got the heart from Bay City instead of him having this accident
