ONCE AGAIN I AGREE WITH YOU 100%!!!!!
Now Chris & Katie can have the happiness that they both deserve to have.

Btw its still another loss for Katie.... hello roommates?!?! Whatever I find it dumb. It would have made a lil more sense to have Luke in the car with him. Reid tells him he loves him and dies? would have been more sad but at least it would've been together better than sticking him back with Noah... makes no sense that will be an issue right there Noah knows where Luke's heart is. Noah is to selfish...

WOW! that was a terrible ending. Is that really the best they could do, DAMN writers. I'm glad its coming to an end cause after today's show I never wanna watch it again! Dumb stupid Chris is going to get the heart he doesn't deserve! And even stupidier Katie will get the happy ending. This shows sucks! Good riddens ATWT!

To be honest I have not been a fan of the gay s/l, but after Reid came into the mix I have begun to enjoy it. Reid & Luke had a great chemistry and the humor they brought to us fans was greatly appreciated. Noah is such a needy little boy, Luke as too until he met Reid. Then he became a stand up guy. Hate to see Noah as the winner. Since the show is ending they will pair them up much too quickly. Luke needs time to come to terms with this and hopefully find someone more comfortable in his skin that Noah. Loved Barbara with Katie. Too bad they had to wait this long to make her human.

It would have been great if tptb would have continued the saga of Reid and Chris battling it out for Chief of Staff at Memorial as Bob and John did in the early years or even better if Reid turned out to be John Dixon lost son...

I dislike that the writers gave Chris a bad heart condition and killed Reid. I would like to have had ATWT end with the two of them being good friends...

This has got to be the longest day in history. So much has already taken place and the sun has not gone down...

Reid, oh no!!. Please don't go! I'm so depressed. Sorry to see the demise of this character.

Eric Sheffer Stevens did a wonderful job. He made me smile and angry at the same time.

Why not have Noah DIE instead of Reid or they should have just used the grandmas heart.....R.I.P she was a great lady. So sad she passed in real life.

Reid is actually my favorite character and I love how he has made the show and every character around him better, especially Luke. With that said, I actually don't mind him dying, since it's the end of the show. It was a very emotional episode, which, for me, is a good thing. I think this show has lacked any sense of real depth and gravitas lately.

However, I do mind him dying like an idiot! He's supposed to be so smart, but he can't work a seat belt? Argh! Oh well.

And I really think it's crazy that Noah will step in to comfort Luke. I think it just shows how the writers were phoning it in at the end. He made his feelings clear. Now that Reid is dead he wants to be Luke's friend and Luke will be okay with that? Sigh.

Jiminy Cricket! They took Reid out with a TRAIN! WOW! Too bad Janet, Liberty, Little Faith and Gabriel weren't in the car with him...now THAT woulda made my day!! I'm kidding, I'm kidding...uh...no not really.

Casey and Alison...I mean do we really even care?

If I might paraphrase another poster on here:
can't wait for more scenes with John and Lucinda!

I am sad this show is winding down. It's the end of an era. I got rid of my television sixteen years ago but kept following the story through written updates and recently started watchin it again via the internet. I always looked forward to "visiting" with folks from "Oakdale" and forgetting my own troubles for awhile.

I disagree. Nancy's death underscored the urgency of these storylines. Chris's situation became all the more urgent. Kim's scene with Katy should secure an Emmy nomination for Kathryn Hayes. Bringing Luke and Reid into this story was pure genius. The gay story was a bone of contention with so many long term fans, that wrapping it into the drama of the Hughes family seemed effortless. Note that Reid's sexuality was never mentioned to Dr. John Dixon. I can't help but think that if the show had focused on the core families, a pink slip may not have been issued. This writing is a testament to this show's history, not only onscreen, but to the fantastic writers of the past: notably Irna Phillips, Agnes Nixon, William J. Bell and Douglas Marland. If the world must stop turning, this is the way to go! As the world turns from winter to spring to summer to fall, time has its seasons, so is it with man.
