    ATWT HOLIDAY PRE-EMPTION DATES

    As the World Turns will be pre-empted on Thanksgiving Day, as well as Friday, November 24, 2006. On Thursday, November 23, 2006, from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm (Eastern Time) CBS will air the 46th annual Thanksgiving Parade. Hannah Storm and Dave Price will host the Thanksgiving Parade, and Neil Patrick Harris will be reporting from the street. In addition, you will enjoy performances from the Jersey Boys, The Drowsy Chaperone, Josh Groban and Rascal Flatts. Following the Thanksgiving Parade will be NFL Football.

    On Friday, November 24, 2006, beginning at 12:30 pm (Eastern Time), ATWT will be replaced by INTURN. Immediately following INTURN will be College Football.

    Furthermore, ATWT will be pre-empted in December and January. On Christmas Day CBS will air sports, along with the movie, "Secondhand Lions," starring Michael Caine, Robert Duvall and Haley Joel Osment. On Friday, December 29, 2006, ATWT will be pre-empted again. Finally, on January 1, 2007, more sports programming will take the place of ATWT.

    To recap, there will be no updates written for ATWT on the following dates: November 23, 2006, November 24, 2006, December 25, 2006, December 29, 2006 or January 1, 2007. Even though the updates won't be written, the usual weekly poll and star of the week will be created.
