    They chase each other over to the Metro. Liberty and Teri are surprised to see them. Dusty leaves to get the basil he forgot and Liberty tells her mother she's come to apologize. They decide to put her plans aside for now and just enjoy the holidays.

    Jack arrives at the Metro. He tells Janet that he has to back out on escorting her to the wedding. She's shocked when he explains that he will be filling in as Craig's best man. She assumes he is doing this to hold Carly's hand through a hard day. He's a little confused. She's not surprised and treats him coldly. After he rushes off, Teri and Liberty say that it was pretty low for him to drop her like that. Janet declares that she is not going. Dusty steps in, saying that it would be a waste of her new dress, and offers to accompany her. Janet says she's not a charity case. Teri rolls her eyes as Dusty and Janet flirt. Dusty and Janet walk out. Teri grimaces.

    At Metro, Janet and Teri argue about what food to put out for the party. Teri worries that her sister will fight with Carly. Janet warns her about what Oakdale families are like. Dusty comes in. They tell him about the party. He refuses to let the wedding be celebrated in his restaurant. He tells them that if Craig steps in his club, he will break his foot. Rosanna arrives and assures Dusty Craig isn't coming. Janet shows her the menu. Rosanna's surprised that Janet is going to be there when Carly is coming. Janet tells her not to worry. Carly and Molly arrive as Janet serves non-alcoholic drinks. They tell Rosanna that they are the only people who are going to show up. Things are awkward. Rosanna asks her sister if she has really accepted her marriage to Craig. Carly says that this is all crazy because they are sisters and that lasts forever. "You decided that you weren't going to give me up over something that might not last?" Rosanna wonders. Carly doesn't think marriages last. Rosanna admits that love isn't enough but it's the only thing that matters. Carly toasts to her. "May she never wish she wasn't married," she says. When Janet returns, she and Carly begin arguing over Jack. Carly insists that she never went after Jack and is only looking out for him. "You better watch out Rosanna or she'll be looking out for your husband next," Janet says. "Craig ain't her husband yet!" Carly shouts back. She calms down and tries declaring a truce. Carly wishes she would keep her mouth shut and apologizes to her sister. Rosanna says it's okay; she wishes things had worked out differently but it means a lot to her that she is trying. The desserts are brought in. Carly stares at the booze behind the bar. She's about to take a drink when Janet tells her she doesn't want to do that. Carly stumbles back to her sister, who thanks her for the party.

    At Metro, Teri corners Dusty and tries to tell him all her ideas. He doesn't want to be her boss, just an investor.

    Teri runs into her sister outside of the diner. She tells her that she got a new boss – Dusty. Janet is surprised that she is okay with this. Teri says Dusty bought the restaurant, basically for her, not that he'll admit it. She beams.

    Dusty and Teri meet at Metro. He says that some of her ideas were good and he just hired her sister as her boss. Janet rushes in. Her sister doesn't seem happy to see her. Suddenly, Janet gets a call about Jack and runs off.

    Glen walks into the Metro and tries asking Teri out. She's shocked that he's being so forward. Dusty arrives and it turns out he is there to meet Glen. When the man leaves to take a call, Teri asks if she should go out with him. "I don't have an opinion and why would you care if I did?" he asks. Janet arrives as Glen returns. The men leave and Janet asks Teri if she needs another waitress. Jack and Carly walk in. Janet starts to explode. Jack explains that he is only there to help Carly with a business decision. She wonders if he is staying her to help her sleep. As she lays into him, he begs her not to be like this. She storms out. Carly tells Teri this isn't what it looks like. She explains that she is thinking of selling.

    Glen and Dusty go back inside. Carly shows Glen around the place. Teri accuses Dusty of trying to set her up. When Glen and Cray return, he says that he will be closing the restaurant if he buys. "I'm sure we'll find a way to use your talents," he tells Teri before leaving. Carly tells her she's sorry and leaves. Dusty tells Teri she can land another job. She doubts she'll have another chance like this. When she gets upset, he tries to comfort her. She tells him to go.

    Back at the Metro, Dusty arrives as Teri gets ready to leave. He informs her that he just outbid Glen and he's her new boss. She smiles, sure that he did this for her.

    Thanksgiving.

    Dusty and Teri arrive. Teri dragged him there. She goes off to see Liberty and Dusty tries to talk to Janet about what she saw in Pittsburgh. She gets upset and walks out to the porch. Jack arrives with Carly. Janet rolls her eyes. Carly says she just came for the ride and leaves them alone. Janet hugs Jack and tells him she missed him. "Did you and Carly...?" she asks. He insists they didn't. He goes inside and the family greets him. Carly leaves. Dusty stares at everything and Teri wonders what he's thinking. He's skeptical about Jack and Janet. As the meal is about to begin, Holden suggests that Jack carve the squash. As he slices into it, Brad's ghost arrives at the table.
