Liberty finds Parker and Johnny at Al's, having dinner. Libs tries to convince him to come to a movie with her but he won't go. Dusty arrives, thrilling Johnny. He asks Parker if he can watch Johnny for a while. Parker says he can't do that but Dusty pushes the issue, reminding Parker of Dusty's promise to Jennifer to protect Johnny. "It's what your sister would want," Dusty says and promises not to let anyone else know. Parker gives in and leaves with Liberty, who worries that Craig will flip out on both of them. Parker says Dusty was right and this is what Jennifer would want. They decide to see a movie.

Craig walks into Al's, sees Dusty with Johnny and hits the roof. Dusty tries to keep Craig calm but he believes Dusty and Lucy worked all of this out together! Dusty is shocked that Lucy's back and quickly leaves. Craig calls Carly to watch Johnny but she tells him to get lost and hangs up. He leaves. Now That's Some Fruit Punch!

    Friday, February 20 2009

Carly is ready to leave the house when Craig stops by with Johnny and a lot of flavored vodka drinks. He says they need to go over designs some more but she says she can't because of a parent-teacher meeting at Sage's school. They leave. Parker and Liberty arrive home and get a snack. They don't see regular soda in the fridge but do find Craig's vodka stash – and start drinking! They wonder what they are drinking but keep slugging back the drinks until they are drunk. Parker starts to get worried that their parents will find out; Liberty goes to the kitchen and gets more of the cans.

At Al's Janet tells Jack to take it easy on Carly at the parent-teacher conference. He leaves. Craig arrives with Johnny and while the kiddo is busy snacking he tells Janet they have to work together to keep Carly and Jack apart. She argues with him but Craig convinces her that they will both lose out if they don't work together. Johnny asks for more snacks and Janet realizes they are out of milk. Craig offers to run out and get some for her.

Craig gets the boys to Carly's and turns on the television to distract Johnny but Parker likes the show and won't go upstairs! Craig grabs him and hauls him upstairs anyway. Carly and Jack arrive; they agree to present a united front to Sage. They are surprised to find Johnny watching cartoons inside; Carly says she has no idea what is going on. Craig returns downstairs. He says he drove Parker home after a tough day. They don't believe him but Craig goes on about Parker's busy studying schedule and they back off. Carly follows Jack to the porch and thanks him for being so great. He leaves. Back inside Carly demands to know what is going on. He finally tells her about the vodka and the hangover. "Oh, God," Carly moans. She hurries out the door.

    A Fairytale Valentine!

    Monday, February 16 2009

At Craig's, Parker and Liberty sit down to read fairytales to the kiddo. They start with Pinocchio. Jack is Gepetto, Carly is the Blue Fairy and Liberty is the girl who wants Pinocchio (played by Parker) to be her boyfriend. Craig and a bad Carly convince Parker to drink at Yo's and then they steal his money. The Blue Fairy catches up to them and forces Parker to tell the truth. Then, Gepetto stumbles in the door choking. Pinocchio saves his life and becomes a real boy. Johnny asks for another story. Barbara comes by with Valentine's gifts for Johnny. Craig helps him open the present as Babs oohs and ahhs over the book of fairytales. She says she used to read the stories to Parker, which makes Liberty tease him. Barbara asks Johnny to come and read with her. Craig leaves.

Barbara reads "Beauty and the Beast" to Johnny. Bob plays the wandering merchant, who arrives at Fairwinds but no one is home. He makes himself comfortable. He reaches for a rose as the beast (played by Paul) watches! He yells at Bob, who drops the flower. Beast orders the merchant to bring his daughter in payment for the rose; Bob runs away. Soon Meg, the daughter, arrives with the rose. Beast is taken in by her and kisses her hand; over time they became good friends and then Beast proposed to her. She turns him down, saying his looks aren't good enough for her. Beast collapses and she realizes she was wrong. She kisses him and Beast becomes a regular man. "I'm Prince Paul," he says and explains about the evil witch and the spell. He proposes and she accepts. Babs hugs Johnny and leaves the suite.

Over hamburgers at Al's, Johnny asks for another story. Parker says they'll read later; Dusty is there and offers to read. Craig and Margo see them; Craig gets upset but Margo convinces him to let Dusty and Johnny read for a while. Dusty reads one story but it is too close to real life so he turns the pages and reads about a king who needs a wife. Meg plays the wife and Dusty is the King; he tells her to turn the paper to gold to prove she is worthy of being his wife. A troll (played by Craig) comes to Meg's rescue. He says he'll do the job only if she will give him their firstborn child! Meg agrees to the terms and he gets to work. The following day Dusty proclaims his love and marries Meg. After a year, they have a child – and the troll demands that they turn the kid over. The troll says she can keep the baby if she can guess his name and disappears. When he returns Meg guesses his name, Rumpelstiltskin, and they live happily ever after. Craig comes in; Dusty says running into Johnny and the kids was coincidence. Craig takes Johnny home.
