Jade and Cleo arrive at a hotel room, and Jade reports to Cleo that they're going to give her a makeover. They begin with Cleo modeling outfits, and then Jade shows her pictures of Gwen's family and begins educating her about Gwen's life. She's impressed at how much Cleo knows, but says they still have to work on her smile and how she speaks. Cleo wants to take a break and go out to eat, but Jade tells her she can't go out, and offers to go get the food and bring it back to the room.
Moments after Jade leaves, Cleo decides to take matters into her own hands, and leaves without Jade knowing. Later, Jade returns and discovers that Cleo's gone!
At Al's, Will apologizes to Gwen for accusing her of being jealous of Alison. Meanwhile, Cleo walks in, sits down at a table, and starts to mimic Gwen's speech and gestures, which a waitress observes. In an attempt to get Will's attention, Cleo purposely drops something and succeeds in her plan when Will looks directly at her, and she glances back at him and smiles!
Left at the Altar
At Al's diner, Cleo questions Jade about her relationship with Gwen, but Jade refuses to tell her the truth. She changes the subject by letting Cleo know that she needs a makeover, but Cleo demands to be paid a thousand bucks first. Jade asks where she's supposed to come up with the money, and Cleo suggests she borrow it. As soon as Cleo leaves, Jade phones Lily and tells her she needs to talk to her.
At Al's, Jade gives Cleo the money. Cleo presses on about her relationship with Gwen, and Jade finally admits she doesn't like Gwen, and this is revenge.
Back on Stage
At Crash, Jade isn't happy to see Cleo there, but Cleo says she's only there to hear Gwen sing one song and then she'll leave. Jade instructs her not to talk to anyone, and after one song she's gone. Cleo promises just one song, and then Jade rejoins Luke at the table.
Later, a nervous Gwen takes the stage but freezes when she notices Jade. Will discovers the problem and confronts Jade. After Gwen sees Will confront Jade, she continues. During her performance, Jade glances over and sees Cleo mimicking Gwen.
Once outside, she's not surprised to see Gwen, but she soon discovers it's not Gwen, it's a new and improved Cleo! Because Cleo was able to fool her, Jade decides to go forward with her plan to have Cleo impersonate Gwen.
Margo Asks Maddie to Move Out
At Al's diner, Jade stops an eager Cleo from introducing herself to Gwen and Will. Jade has Cleo believing that Gwen is her (Jade's) friend, so Cleo offers to show Gwen the picture Jade posted of her on the Internet, but Jade stops her saying the timing isn't right. Finally, Cleo decides to sneak out while Jade distracts Will and Gwen. Once Jade sees Cleo has left, she excuses herself and leaves too.
Gil is handing out flyers to Gwen's performance in Old Town. Cleo approaches him and asks for a flyer. Gil graciously hands Cleo a flyer and advises she attend. "Gwen's the best," he finishes.
