    Paul Feels Guilty

    Wednesday, November 28 2007

The pains subside as they arrive at the hospital but Paul stays with Meg until the doctor arrives. He offers to have someone call Craig but she doesn't want to worry him. The doctor walks in and mistakes Paul for Craig; they set the doctor straight. Just then Craig, who was told about Meg's whereabouts by a nurse, walks in! Another cramp hits and the doctor orders the men out of the room. She asks Meg how long the cramps have been coming on. She asks Meg to try to relax but Meg can't relax; she is worried she may be losing the baby. The doctor begins the exam to check on the baby. She sees that the baby is fine and decides the cramps are because of stress. She tells Meg to calm down and relax. Outside, Craig demands to know what happened and Paul fills him in. Craig orders him to leave, reminding him that Rosanna needs him much more than Meg does. Paul walks away. Craig returns inside and learns that things are fine. The doctor lets them listen to the baby's heartbeat, which excites Craig. He hugs Meg. From outside, Paul watches them.

    A Day of Thanksgiving!

    Wednesday, November 21 2007

At the bridge, Craig thinks Meg is talking to him and reaches for a bundle from her. It's a homeless woman, who yells at him for trying to take her stuff! He turns back to the water. Meg arrives and he tells her she is too late and Paul is already gone. Craig asks if she is happy to be pregnant and she says yes. Then she thanks him for not hurting Paul because she doesn't want him to go to jail. Craig wants to believe her but can't. Meg steps up to him, telling him that their baby will love him and if he gives her a chance they can be together again. "I want you to make something for our baby," she says, "Make us a family." Meg walks away.

Craig arrives at the farm and tells Meg he does want a second chance at fatherhood. Meg is glad and hugs him. He turns to go but Meg stops him and tells him to join the rest of the family. They go inside. Emma and the clan welcome Craig; he and Meg sit down to eat. The girls - Sage and Natalie - come in to show off their Thanksgiving surprise. Natalie goes to collect everyone. Sage tells Jack her Thanksgiving wish - Carly and him together again! The girls start their Thanksgiving song, making everyone laugh. Jack heads outside and asks how things are. Katie says things are fine and leaves. Brad follows.

    Luke Tells Off Win Mayer!

    Tuesday, November 20 2007

Meg wakes, feeling horrible. Craig asks if it's the baby or hormones. Meg snaps at him to back off; he walks out of the room and heads to work. Meg grabs her phone.

Craig arrives at Eli's office and asks him what went on between him and Meg the day before. He asks about the test results. Eli brings up confidentiality laws and turns away. Craig doesn't leave, though. Instead, Craig tells Eli about their new research plans and offers to get Eli in on the ground-floor if he'll let Craig in on Meg's test results. Eli declines the offer, pulls up a new screen on his computer and then leaves the office. But first, he tells Craig not to touch anything. Craig looks at the screen and sees the paternity test results. He sits at Eli's desk and reads over the results, excited to see he is the father until he turns the page and realizes there was another father possibility!

A while later Meg arrives at the farm to tell Emma about the paternity test results. Emma hugs her. Meg doesn't know what to do now and Emma offers her a room at the farm. Meg turns that down and says she has to stay with her husband now. She returns to the hotel room and finds Craig waiting for her in the dark! He confronts her about the DNA test. She tries to tell him the test was really to determine birth defects but Craig keeps pushing until she admits she slept with Paul! Meg runs to the door but Craig gets there first. She tells him about that day in the woods. Craig becomes angry. She compares her relationship with Paul to his relationship with Sierra. Then, Meg asks for a second chance at their marriage. "I think you could be a good father," she says, "I know who you can really be when nobody else is looking." Craig wants to believe but still doesn't trust her. Crying, Meg runs off to the bathroom. Craig sends a text message to Paul, pretending to be Meg, and asks him to meet at the bridge. Meg returns to the main room a few moments later but Craig is gone.

Paul arrives at the bridge and is surprised to find Craig is there instead of Meg. Angry, Craig grabs Paul and threatens to make him disappear for good this time! Paul tells Craig that Meg was heartbroken to hear the DNA results and begins to push Craig's buttons. He says Meg doesn't really love him, that she was pleading Paul to take her back even after the test results were revealed. Then he says the only reason Meg returned to Craig was because Paul was going back to Rosanna. Craig releases him, crushed. When Paul is gone, Craig replays the incident. He picks up a rock and tosses it into the water.

    Paternity Confirmed - Maybe!

    Friday, November 16 2007

In the hospital corridor, Craig runs into a nurse who tells him Meg is upstairs. Concerned, Craig goes in search of Meg. He circles around a while and then runs in to Meg, who has been crying, in the stairwell! Craig asks what is wrong; Meg insists the baby is fine. If that is so, he wonders why she is still there. Meg hems and haws but Craig keeps demanding. Finally she tells him she ran in to Paul. Meg tells Craig about Rosanna being in a coma again; Craig wonders if they should offer their help but Meg tells him they need to keep their distance. Below them in the stairwell, Rosanna listens. When they start back downstairs, she hurries ahead of them so they won't see her. She hides at the bottom and Craig and Meg return to the hallways. There they run into Eli, who almost slips about the test results. Meg interrupts, introduces Craig and starts talking about the hospital softball team. Craig insists on knowing more and looking at some old pictures. Before Meg and Eli can come up with anything, a nurse walks up and tells Craig that Bob has returned and he may be able to talk about the research position now. Craig pretends to leave but when Meg and Eli start down the hall he follows them!

When Meg and Craig arrive at Eli's office, Craig listens to them talk. The test results now show that Craig is the father - and Paul is not! Meg is shocked. Eli tells Meg this isn't the end of the world. She runs out of the office. He follows, says he'll always be there for her and hugs her. Craig watches them.

    Lily and Dusty Make Love!

    Thursday, November 15 2007

In another part of the hospital, Meg tells Craig she was having some minor cramps and just wanted to check things out. She says everything is fine. Craig is incensed and wonders why she didn't call him to be with her. Craig says he'll get the real scoop from Meg's doctor - himself! Meg hurries after him, desperate to stop Craig from talking to the doctor. She gets him to stop by throwing trust in his face and saying they don't have a marriage if they don't have trust. Craig makes her promise that she and the baby are okay. He leaves, telling Meg that he has a meeting with Bob. Meg decides to meet him back at The Lakeview. Once Craig has gone, Meg continues to the testing lab where she meets Eli - and asks him to help her with the DNA test. Eli is eager to help - and still has a little crush on Meg - and says he'll do whatever he can. He promises to keep the results confidential. They leave the lab and Eli tells Meg that the results will be in soon.
