    Brad goes to Katie's. He watches Simon sing "Waltzing Matilda" to Jacob. The Aussie says he can't go back to being a thief. Being there with him and his mom feels too good. After Simon has a nap, he wakes up and finds Henry has arrived. He makes sure that it really is Henry and then they talk about what's next for Katie. Simon wants to stick around and help. Henry tells him that he needs to let Katie know his true feelings. Simon admits that he's not very good at that.

    Katie goes to the cemetery and leaves flowers on Brad's grave. She thought they were going to make it forever... but now she has to let him go, for Jacob's sake. As she cries that she is sorry, she feels a hand on her shoulder. Brad is looking down at her, but it is Simon's hand on her shoulder. They walk off together.

    At home, Katie is skeptical that Simon can really stick around and make a life in Oakdale. He claims that people change and then leaves to tend to the baby. A moment later, she walks in on Simon talking to the baby. Katie walks over to help him change a diaper. She's amazed that he is so good at changing diapers. Brad never even had the chance... "I just want my husband back," she weeps.

    Henry/Brad shows up at Katie's with flowers. He offers to help her do the laundry. She wonders why he's acting so weird. He babbles about how beautiful she is and how much he misses Brad. He tells her how amazing she looks and tries smelling her hair. That makes her uncomfortable. Henry/Brad takes out some clothes he bought for Jacob. She's startled because it's exactly what Brad would have bought. As she takes the clothes in to Jacob, Henry/Brad finds a shirt in the cushions. He hides it as Katie comes back with the baby. As he holds the baby, he's about to tell her something... but Simon walks in. The baby cries and Katie takes him out. The men argue and Simon says that Brad is dead and no relationship can survive that. "Brad was fantastic. He was awesome. He was perfect for Katie and Katie is never getting over him!" Henry/Brad shouts. He calms down and tries to cover. Simon asks him why he is there. Simon assures him that he is taking care of her and Jacob. As he's about to call her, Henry/Brad knocks him out.

    Katie shows up at the station to argue with her sister about arresting Simon. He insists that Katie doesn't have any knowledge of his activities. Katie explains that having him around has made her feel better. When Margo leaves them alone, Katie tells Simon she's going to get him out of there. He says he doesn't regret being locked up as long as his return has helped her. He can't believe he's screwed things up for her again. She admits that she really needed him to come back and begs him not to go.

    Outside the office, Jack explains to Margo that he brought Simon back to town and why. He still despises Simon, but he needs to help Katie. Margo returns to Katie and Simon. Katie begs her not to take him away. Margo says she'll be contacting Interpol but it will take time to sort things out. She agrees to release him until they get an actual warrant. Margo unlocks Simon and tells him that he'll be in trouble if he hurts her little sister. Simon walks over to Jack and thanks him. Katie leads him out and Jack promises Margo that he'll keep an eye on him. Margo tells him about Brad's ghost and then asks him if he is ready to come back to work. He says he'll be back soon.

    Simon and Katie take Jacob home. He suggests they take a walk and go to a restaurant. Henry shows up with Brad. The ghost can't stand seeing Simon with Katie and vanishes. Simon leaves to get takeout and Katie tells Henry she is happy to have Simon around. She asks him if the ghost still talks to him.

    Carly bumps into Simon in the diner. She's shocked to see him. He tells her that Jack managed to get him out of trouble at the station. He adds that Jack told him to stay away from her. When he talks about Katie, she says it sounds like he's falling in love with her all over again. He claims he is only there as her friend, even if he never stopped loving her. She wonders why he left her then. He didn't want to pull her into a life on the road. Simon says that he now knows how extraordinary ad 'everyday life' can be. As he's about to leave, he gives her a hug and Jack walks in. He begins accusing Simon of going after her again and Simon defends her, saying that Jack is in no position to judge anyone. Jack punches him. A cop comes in and Jack tries to put the blame on Simon. Carly defends him and tells Simon to go. Jack smirks. Carly shakes her head at him.

    Katie and Simon sit on her couch. He tries making small talk. She talks about going to the cemetery. She couldn't say goodbye to Brad. Simon asks her about how her relationship with Brad developed and then tells her not to force herself to let go. He promises to be there for her for as long as he's welcome.

    At home, Katie is impressed that Simon is doing the dishes. She decides to take the baby out for a walk. He gasps as he sees the coffeepot floating in mid-air. Once she walks out, he rants at Brad. Simon tells him he can't spook him. He jumps when Henry comes to the door. "I think Brad's here," Simon tells him. "You know about the ghost too!" Henry blurts out. Simon tells Brad that if he wants to help Katie he should leave her alone. Brad talks through Henry, saying that Simon is a bad influence and he's been putting the moves on Katie. Henry says they all need to make Katie happy. He helps them negotiate. Simon asks for a week, promising to keep his hands off of Katie during that time, but after that, "We'll see what's what." Brad flips out and vanishes. Henry is impressed that Simon got Katie to go out and tells him he needs to stick around until she's better.
