    Lucinda goes to the farm house to see Molly, who already know what she has to say. Molly refuses to leave. Lucinda offers her money. "Save your zeros old lady," Molly says, explaining that she moved back in with Holden. Lucinda says he can climb into Holden's bed but his heart will always belong to Lily. Molly kicks her out. After she's gone, Lily and Holden arrive. She fills them in on Faith's secret. They aren't happy to hear it or to learn that she's talked to Faith about this behind their backs either.

    Lucinda walks into the station to lecture Jack about keeping Holden locked up. He tells her things aren't as simple as she thinks. Holden thinks that Damian might be hiding in town. He worries to Lucina about Lily's safety. "You still love her," she says, patting him on the back. He thought she would stop hounding him when she was his ex-mother in law. Jack wanders off and around the station. Carly arrives. She's there to apologize for making a scene in Minneapolis. They laugh about how out of line she was.

    Lily arrives at the station and finds Holden with Lucinda. She asks him to get his girlfriend off her back. Lily moans about Molly but Holden refuses to keep her out of their lives. Lucinda suggests they should focus on helping each other alone. Lily tells her mother to stop interfering. Once Lucinda's gone, the former couple continue to argue. He tells her that he sent Molly to the house because he thought she might have more luck getting through to Faith. They bicker about Molly's track record. He repeats that Damian is to blame for everything. She decides to smoke Damian out of hiding by using herself as bait. He forbids it.

    At home, Lily whines to her mother about how she brought Damian into the lives of her children. Lucinda's sure he will slink back looking for forgiveness. Lily doubts that. Bickering ensues. Lucinda advises her to put this behind her and beg Holden to take her back. She flounces off.

    At Metro, Dusty calls to make sure that Liberty got to her appointment. Teri asks him why he didn't take them himself. They discuss what he's done with Janet and she hints he feels more for her than he's letting on. She begins dragging a bag of flour across the room. He tries to pick it up and it splits, covering him with flour. As she dusts him off, Lucinda walks in. "I won't even ask what's going on here," she says. After Teri makes herself scarce, Lucinda teases Dusty about his 'girlfriend'. He insists that she's just a kid. Lucinda keeps mocking him lewdly while Teri listens. Lucinda asks for an investigator's number and then leaves. Teri returns and confronts him for calling her a 'kid' and points out that she is a woman. He tells her that he respects her and she is his employee. She confronts him about Janet and accuses him of being in love with her. He says she's beautiful and she'll find someone who deserves her.

    Lucinda meets with an investigator at the Lakeview. She promises him a lot of cash to find Damian and make sure he never returns.

    At the hospital, Molly tells Lily that she wanted Holden and thought that they had a chance this time. Unfortunately, Lily was still in his heart. Lily tells her that she's been making the wrong choices all along and blames herself for what's happened. Lucinda arrives and asks her daughter what's been happening. She tells her not to blame herself for all of this and makes excuses for her. Lily doesn't want excuses; she's known exactly what she was getting into all along. Her mother is sure that her children will forgive her if she is honest with them.

    Down the corridor, Noah tells Luke that he will only be able to 'literally see' him again if he stays out of his life as Dr. Oliver has ordered. "We're supposed to be partners," Luke complains. Noah says it will only be for a few months. They sit down and Luke explains how his father ran off. Noah apologizes for being so self-involved. As they hold hands, Dr. Oliver walks in and interrupts. Luke tells Reid that he hates him for keeping him away from Noah when he needs him, but he'll do it for his sake. Luke walks into his mother and tells her about Damian running off. "Hallelujah!" Lucinda says. Luke needs an explanation for her reaction.

    At the TV station, Molly calls around, trying to get a hold of Holden. She tells him she can't walk away from him. Lucinda has been eavesdropping and tells her that her fling with Holden is over. "Now it's time for both of you to go home," she says. Lucinda tells her that she is condemned to be a seat filler in Holden's life. She suggests that she walk away while she has her dignity.

    Luke and his mother go home and argue about Damian and his demons. She hates what he did but she still loves him. They wonder if they'll ever see him again. Holden walks in. He tells them that he let Damian go. He claims that he had to do it because he was afraid that a trial wouldn't get rid of him. Lily thinks Meg deserves justice. Holden says that never seeing Damian again is what's best for her. Luke tells Holden how lucky he feels to have him as a father. Holden and Luke leave as Lucinda arrives. "Finally! All is well with the world," Lucinda says. Lily fills her in on what Holden said about Damian. "He'll be back like a virus," Lucinda groans. She rants. Her daughter yells at her and insists that she is partially to blame for this and they need to accept that Damian is gone. Lucinda thinks only a stake through the heart will keep him away.
