    What If It's Not Enough?

    Tuesday, February 09 2010

At the hospital, Holden offers to try and track down Damian as long as Luke doesn't get involved. Luke agrees to that.

Holden and Luke arrive at Lily's. She tells him Meg was there. She panicked and pressed the silent alarm. Holden insists that Meg didn't do anything to Damian and is angry that she called the cops. Luke gets called back to the office, leaving his parents to argue. He orders her to back off and insists that Meg didn't do anything. She wonders how he can be so certain.

    Because He's Your Father.

    Friday, February 05 2010

Molly runs into Holden at the Lakeview. He hasn't been returning her calls and claims he's been too busy searching for Meg. She asks him if he's seen a doctor about his wounds and explains that she went down to the docks and spoke to a witness about his fight with Damian. "I know what Damian did to you, but what did you do to Damian?" she asks. He asks her to drop this but she can't. He tells her his story again and insists that he let Damian run. He put his body on a ship and watched it sail away. She promises not to tell anyone about this.

When Holden returns to the farm house, Lily is waiting for him. She tells him that Damian's wallet was found in the water. She's scared that Meg killed him. He says that Damian is just in hiding and lost his wallet. She may hate what her husband has become, but she still doesn't want him dead.

Luke runs into Molly at WOAK and asks her if she knows what happened to Damian. He tells her about his frantic goodbye with his father and wonders what he could have done. Molly says it's unlikely that he'll see him again since he tried to kill Meg. She's sure he loved him but he was desperate. As Luke walks out, he runs into his father and says he's happy he's okay. After he's gone, Holden tells Molly that he feels bad that Luke is always stuck between his two dads. He asks Molly for her help. He explains that the wallet was found and Lily thinks Meg killed Damian. Holden needs her to help him find Meg before someone else does.

You Can't Talk To Me This Way.

    Tuesday, February 02 2010

At the farm house, Holden tells Molly he is just bleeding because he was changing his tire. That's not very convincing to her. He also claims that he let Damian leave the country because he didn't want the family to suffer. Molly asks for the truth. Holden recalls pummeling Damian and walks out to call Lily. He explains that there is still no sign of Meg and asks her to come over and help him tell the kids the latest. When he goes back inside, he tells Molly she should leave. She keeps quizzing him. He continues insisting he didn't do anything to Damian and then throws her deception in her face. She backs down and asks him to take off his shirt so she can tend to his wound. It's a big gash on his chest. She assumes he was in a fight. He runs upstairs as Lily comes in. She spots blood on the floor. Molly claims it's tomato sauce but Lily's not that stupid. Holden comes back in after changing his shirt. Molly leaves them alone. They discuss what to do with the kids and he suggests that they go and live with her. He assures her Damian will never come back again. The kids come in and they explain that Damian did some bad things and now he's gone. As the kids pack, Lily thanks Holden for forgiving her. He just wants everything to get back to normal.

    Home Lobotomy.

    Monday, February 01 2010

Holden confronts Damian on the pier. Damian claims Meg isn't with him and Lily will be fine. Holden blames Damian for everything. Damian thinks he's giving him way too much credit and advises him to just let him run. "You're going to answer for everything you've done," Holden insists. Damian thinks he's a fool and points out how hard a trial would be for his family. He tears apart the entire case against him and shows how impossible it would be to actually convict him of anything. Holden's afraid that he will come back again if he lets him leave. They continue arguing and Damian insists that he has done everything only because he loves his family more than his own life. Holden accuses him of being a manipulative conman. Damian accuses him of being incapable of loving without conditions. Holden tells him that Luke is his son in every way that matters and vows to make sure he never has anything to do with him again.

Holden rushes into the farm house with blood all over his hands. He thinks about beating Damian.

Luke and his mother go home and argue about Damian and his demons. She hates what he did but she still loves him. They wonder if they'll ever see him again. Holden walks in. He tells them that he let Damian go. He claims that he had to do it because he was afraid that a trial wouldn't get rid of him. Lily thinks Meg deserves justice. Holden says that never seeing Damian again is what's best for her. Luke tells Holden how lucky he feels to have him as a father. Holden and Luke leave as Lucinda arrives. "Finally! All is well with the world," Lucinda says. Lily fills her in on what Holden said about Damian. "He'll be back like a virus," Lucinda groans. She rants. Her daughter yells at her and insists that she is partially to blame for this and they need to accept that Damian is gone. Lucinda thinks only a stake through the heart will keep him away.

When Holden returns to the farm house, Molly is waiting for him. She informs him that she is moving to the Lakeview. She notices that he's bleeding and questions him.
