Kendall comes face-to-face with Greenlee, David's trial gets underway, and Annie and JR kiss!
At the Chandler Mansion, Brooke tells Adam she's feeling better and will go to court with him. She gives him a kiss for setting up the video conference with her kids. They head out to court.
Annie and JR return to the hotel after her speech. She is on cloud nine - members of congress were hanging on her every word. JR has brunch brought to the room, with champagne for Annie. He tips the waiter and asks him to block their calls. As Annie waxes on about her future giving inspirational speeches, JR compliments her shamelessly and makes a toast - to her. Annie turns serious, telling JR she feels like a nuisance at home, she has her entire life, until today when they commended her. JR stares at her intently. She says she knows what he's thinking about her. He challenges her to prove it. Annie says she really wanted to believe he was proud of her today, but she knows what he really thinks. JR insists he was honestly impressed. Annie tells him she feels happy today, and she owes it to him, maybe they saved each other. Annie admits that she did the marrow donation for selfish reasons, and confesses that she told JR she hated him when he was in the coma. JR wants to keep those feelings in the past. They gaze at one another until Annie says she should go. JR checks the camera in his briefcase, and Annie comes back to get help zipping up her dress for the reception. JR says she looks great, and the room is filled with sexual tension. Annie places her hand on his chest, and they begin kissing passionately!
At the courthouse, David asks Liza if she's heard from Greenlee. He chuckles when she admits she hasn't. He tells Liza he's confident she can get him off without Greens as a character witness. Court gets underway, with Jesse testifying about the drugs David gave Adam. Liza successfully discredits him. Nurse Gayle is up next. She admits to the lying she did on David's behalf, and to the feelings she had for him. Liza discredits her, saying he broke her heart and she wanted revenge! Gayle blurts, "Yes!" Liza announces, "No further questions." Adam takes the stand. Liza makes him admit he hid David at his house even knowing he was a fugitive. Adam experiences visible discomfort and asks her to get this over with. Liza quickly has him admit that David was helping him with his heart problems, and then thanks him. The D.A. stands up and begins grilling Adam until Liza and David realize he's in serious distress. Liza jumps up to alert the judge as Adam struggles off the stand and falls to the ground. Brooke, Liza, and Jesse rush to him, but the bailiff holds David back.
Jack is with Ryan at the casino. Ryan tells Jack that Greenlee has gone to Majorca to look for Kendall, and Erica is hot on her heels! Jack wonders why Ryan didn't stop Erica, then starts worrying about Greenlee. Jack doesn't care if Greenlee doesn't want Ryan, he thinks he should be there for her. Ryan says he has to respect her wishes. Tad comes up as Jack takes off. They discuss Jack's dilemma where Greenlee is concerned. Ryan admits to Tad that he hasn't been in touch with Kendall and misses Spike. It's about time he went to see him. Ryan calls Jack and leaves him a message that he's going to Majorca.
In Spain, Kendall answers the phone in her room to Erica, who says she's at the airport there, and there is something Kendall needs to know. But Kendall drops the phone as Greenlee walks into the room! Kendall stammers, cries a little, and reaches out to touch Greenlee, who explains that David Hayward found her that night, barely alive. The rest of the story comes out, and Kendall moves to embrace her, but Greenlee steps back, saying, "Don't." Kendall tells her she didn't know she was alive, thinking Greenlee is angry about her not coming to see her, but Greenlee says she knows Erica didn't tell her. Ryan's name comes up and Greens blurts that she doesn't care about him. Kendall asks, "Since when?" Greenlee replies, "Since I married David Hayward." Kendall tells Greenlee she must have done it out of spite when she found Ryan with Erica. Just then, Erica strides in. She tries to hug Kendall, who angrily asks her, "Are you kidding me? How could you not tell me about Greenlee?" Erica says she was protecting Kendall's time with her family, besides, Greenlee has been completely irrational! Kendall and Erica bicker and Greenlee tells them to cut the crap. Kendall asks Erica to leave, and she reluctantly does so. Kendall then turns to Greenlee and says, "You know about me and Ryan, don't you."
