Personally, I don't think TPTB should drag this out any longer. We would be awash in nostalgia for the good old days when plots and writing made sense plus we would actually care about more than 1 or 2 characters. It was great seeing the old timers. Wish more of them were going to LA.

So Jesse thinks PV should be the love capital of America. LOL-I am thinking more along the lines of lust capital with some of the current s/l's.

I agree from-I think we are going to have front row seats for the boink scene between Ryan and Erica. Maybe TPTB will devote half the show to it-gag, barf. After all, she is the grand dame of the show. I haven't decided if I will fast forward or watch and go EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW through it.

I agree cbru....It seems with all the good stuff this s/l with Ryan and Erica....and the way they are really pushing the love scene...that they are actually trying to push us away....I guess this is still Pratt and his early April fool joke.

Oh well, today was nice while it lasted....maybe this is Pratt's last "I'll get even with everyone" plan to go along with Pratt's favorite character - David.

Well I did enjoy the show today and shed a few tears. When did they showed the part about loss..ok tears were running. Im so surprised Phobe was not talked about more. They talked about Babe way to much as thought they were focusing on the people that go way back. I wish the real Ruth would have been able to come join this special event. When Brooke said something about coming back I got excited I hope she does. To see Liza and David on kind of wrecked it cause that Liza is not the same. Why on earth do they keep changing Colby?Erica was great as always. But way to short of a show..But loved watching it.

Hello all, I haven't read the comments yet...can't wait to get to them, but the recap didn't mention anything about Greg's or Maria's comments. Personally, if I ever left my husband, it would be for Greg! LOL I loved him back when he was with Jenny (which I couldn't wish for a happier union), but he was and always will be H.O.T!!!

I guess I sorta wished to hear from Donna and Chuck too. I'll never forget the heartbreak I went through when they lost their child in that fire.

Wow, too many memories. I'm one of the few who watched this soap from the VERY beginning, thanks to my Dad, and I've never watched another soap. I'm going to call my Dad to see if he watched this episode...I'm sure he did...he always does...88 years and going...

Happy 40th AMC!!! I hope we have many more years to come.

It was good to see some of the "old folks". The scene where Adam couldn't continue about Stuart and the one where Maria couldn't contnue about Julia really brought on the tears for me.

cbru-I've decided to just skip the whole episode with Ryan and Erica doing the nasty. And it really is nasty to have Spike's grandma boinking his father. So Thursday will be no AMC for me, don't want to accidently see any of the nastiness or even read about it.

from-Sorry to disappoint you but Pratt's mess is not done yet.

Starlett, I completely agree. However, the one thing I forgot to mention in my original post was how special to me, at least, Agnes Nixon's final comments were. They truly are all her children!!!

I must say that Scott had the funniest lines in the show. He mentioned that he has never been married and has no girl friend. The expression on his face was so funny.
