If Aiden did do away with Ryan....that would leave Erica alone...and looking again.....since she and David were engaged around the mid 1990s and she decided to hookup with him again....?????? Can one imagine what PV would be like then ????? David HATES everyone and Erica want everyone to LOVE AND BOW to her.....they would balance each other out quite well....OMG

Can't wait for the "Trevor" secret to be revealed

Posted by AMCguy at Tuesday, December 01 2009 01:04 PM

Because I have too much time on my hands and can't stand little mysteries like this one, I checked and it says his last official day of taping was Nov. 6 but his episodes will air "into December 2009." My bet is they'll use Aidan's deception to explain why Kendall is gone for a while, coinciding with the maternity leave for Alicia Minshew.

How they then resolve the departure of Thorsten Kaye from his role of Zach, and then depending on whether Minshew agrees to move to LA (I can't recall if she's announced one way or the other...has she?), the new writing team will need to figure a lot of things out.

My hope is the new writers hire a couple of consultants. First, they need a lawyer who could explain why it makes no sense for Liza, allegedly a lawyer herself, to give Bailey little Stuart when Liza is his legal parent. [And don't get me started about little Trevor's legal daddy thing!]

And they need a physician, who can explain that a world-renowned doctor like David Hayward would never confuse a potentially deadly disease like meningitis ear infection?? Not to mention David's crack prognosis on the imminent death of Annie!

I get the need to create drama, but can they please give us viewers a tiny bit of credit?

AMCguy - all of what you wrote explains perfectly why there's been a change of headwriter on AMC. I'm sure we'll still have to suffer through a few more weeks or maybe even months of "Pratt Crap" (shows that were already taped, scripts that have already been written, etc.,) before the show can really be taken in a new direction. But I, for one, would SERIOUSLY cut the writers a bunch of slack if they did a Dallas-esque, "Pam woke up and it was all a dream" thing to just cut some of these storylines off at the knees and start fresh! Any other takers?

On one of the other boards, a poster or two "commented" on so many posters making negative statements about the writers (it was on the GH update from Monday if you're interested) and said something to the effect of, if you don't like what they're writing, do it yourself. (Quite frankly, I'd love to give it a try but I'm not in the position to do that.) In response, however, another poster explained that the reason we criticize the writers is that, if we, as fans, can come up with better, more plausible, more entertaining storylines on these boards (in our spare time and after working at our "real jobs"), then we have the right to hold the writers for these shows accountable for writing bad material - especially considering writing for these shows is their main job. Personally, I'd love to do some of the writing and have some control over the storylines. I doubt any of us could do a WORSE job than has been done on AMC or some of the other shows lately. I just hope that GH follows suit and shakes up the writing team over there a bit. Ever since they killed off Claudia, the show hasn't been worth watching - even with the temporary addition of James Franco to the cast! And that's saying something.

I wouldn't mind if Aidan off Ryan... Oh what would Erica do!! But then again they can just moved Aidan to Llandview where his talents can become of some use!! Just think about a Natalie and Aidan hook up
I can't stand to see the great Adam in a orange jump suit!!
Good for Zach to finally take a page out of Kendall book!! When Kendall come back he can always say that it was out of grief!! Amanda gets dumber by the day..

cowboys fan, you're right. Kendall and Adian were about to get busy while Adian was working on Erica's condo. It was never completed because Ryan walked in and caught them.

Caligali.....Unfortunately, I read that in the future David is going to tell everyone that he is dying....whether this will be tied in with the Trevor thing or not I don't know...but I have a feeling it is, and of course, David will play it to the hilt.......WE NEED TO SEE DAVID HUMILIATED !!!!! PLEASE LET US HAVE SOME FUN TOO !!!!!

ITA, Ringleader...My preference would be for Dixie to wake up and see Tad coming out of the shower and we have one giant "do over" starting there.

I'm also open to the notion that 'Aidan' is actually Zormac, a shape-shifting alien from Planet Omegacron 7 whose ship crash-landed in Pine Valley years ago. He has been holding Brooke, Dixie, Babe, Stuart and the real Aidan hostage after they each unwittingly discovered his true identity. And now he wants to take Kendall back to his home planet to make her his Omegacron Queen.

We'd discover that Janet "From Another Planet" wasn't just a nickname coined by Trevor, it was a spot-on description. Janet is really Xanthar, a renegade from Omegacron whom Zormac was sent to bring back, only plans went horribly wrong. Xanthar imprisoned Janet and assumed her identity, but then went bonkers adjusting to life on Earth.

She and Zormac have been assuming the appearances and lives of several Pine Valley residents over the past few years, which explains their erratic behaviors.

In a happy development, Amanda will discover she's half human, half-Omegacron and zap David Hayward with 'Janet's phaser, which is set not on kill or stun, but 'truth.' Unable to help himself, David prattles on and on, revealing all the dastardly deeds he's done.

Amanda, Jake, Jesse and Tad, working with Opal who has some otherworldly visions about visiting aliens, team up to defeat Zormac and Xanthar and blast them back to Omegacron. They'll find and release Brooke and the rest of the hostages, who will be able to resume their lives in Pine Valley under the direction of new writers who actually know and understand Pine Valley's heritage and characters.

And they'll all live happily ever after...for about a week.

AMCGUY.....I think you have nailed it !!!!! This would explain ALL the weird behavior of those characters we USE TO like....then when the anniversary show takes place in January....those that have come back for the anniversary WILL STAY...followed by a surprise visit by DIXIE, and she will stay.....and as you say Pine Valley will be happy, at least for a week or two !!!!!
