All My Children - DAILY UPDATES

Zach goes to the penthouse to pick up Spike. Ryan and Greenlee tell him things went well and he tells them there is no change in Kendall's condition. He leaves. Greenlee wonders what is going on with Zach. She brings up the wedding and tells Ryan that Zach should be his best man; Ryan doesn't agree at all and reminds her of how Zach protected Annie after Richie's death. Greens drops the subject. Ryan jokes about asking their mechanic! He carries her upstairs but then the phone rings. It is Dr. Sinclair! She tells Ryan to come to Oak Haven and hangs up. Ryan leaves. Emma comes downstairs and asks Greenlee to make cookies. They go into the kitchen. Emma is impatient and grabs for one of the hot cookie sheets and burns herself!

Zach meets Brot at the casino. He asks Brot to take over the security department for the casino! Brot is shocked and wonders if Taylor put Zach up to the job offer. "I don't give handouts," Zach says and leaves. Brot thinks about things. The patrons at the bar stare at him. Brot leaves a message for Zach, turning down the job offer. Taylor arrives and tells Brot that she did suggest him for the job. He says he doesn't need her help and turns to leave. "All you see here are perfect, happy people. They don't need me messing things up like a freak show," he declares. She says she was just trying to help but he won't listen. She leaves. Brot orders a drink at the bar and Jake arrives. Seeing that Brot is still feeling sorry for himself Jake tells Brot to suck it up and stop acting like his life is over. Zach returns and runs into Reese. She asks about Kendall; Zach says he'll go by the hospital later and gets upset when Reese questions him further. He turns away but she won't leave him alone. "What is going on?" she asks. Zach admits he is afraid Kendall won't wake up or won't be the same.

At the hospital Frankie tells Bianca and Reese that Kendall is holding her own. Then he mentions that Zach hasn't been in to see Kendall since the transplant. The women are stunned. Greenlee arrives with Emma and Frankie looks her over. Brot and Taylor run into one another near the exam room and hear Emma crying. He goes in and calms Emma down, telling her that burns aren't that bad. Emma lets Frankie take care of her.

JR calls Amanda at Fusion but she won't talk to him. Petey and Randi wonder what is going on. Then Erica walks in, hears the message and tells Amanda to stop taking personal calls at work! She gives Amanda some paperwork; Amanda says the work is finished and waiting on Greenlee's approval. Erica goes off on a tangent about putting their personal lives before work. Amanda tries to convince Erica to go home and rest but she refuses. JR arrives and Amanda promises to get rid of him. Erica listens to them and when JR won't go, tells him to leave and take Amanda with him! Erica thanks Amanda for being concerned and returns to work. Bianca arrives as Erica is lashing out at Petey for a misspelling on an ad. Binks asks why she is at work at all. Erica says she has to be there because Greenlee is ignoring the office. Binks offers to help but Erica won't let her. Randi asks Petey why he puts up with Erica's actions. He says he likes the work. Erica finally leaves and they start bagging on her. Bianca hears them, gets upset and says they need to show Erica that she can count on them!

Annie keeps talking to Aidan through the vent. She says she is scared and remembers stabbing Erica. Aidan reminds her not to tell Dr. Sinclair. She asks why she stabbed Erica and Aidan says it was because she was hurting, too. Dr. Sinclair watches Annie from the hall. Aidan tells Annie that Dr. Sinclair doesn't want to help her! Dr. Sinclair comes in and asks who Annie is talking to! She doesn't believe Annie when she says she was talking to herself and angrily tells her that Richie is dead! Annie freaks out. "Not Richie, not Richie, not Richie," she repeats. When Dr. Sinclair is gone Aidan comforts Annie as best he can. She asks if Richie is really dead and Aidan reluctantly admits she killed him. Annie sits in the corner and Aidan repeats that she can't tell Dr. Sinclair anything about Richie. She promises. She asks him to hold her hand. "Hold your hand out with your palm facing up and imagine I'm sitting right next to you," he says sweetly. Annie starts to feel better. She asks if they were ever in love; Aidan says they were only good friends. As they talk about their loves, Aidan gets upset and turns away from the vent. "Why aren't you holding my hand?" Annie asks. Aidan is crying; Annie begs him not to leave her. She gets upset when Aidan doesn't answer her and screams that Richie is there. She hears Richie tell her he'll never leave her alone and then remembers killing him.

Ryan arrives at Oak Haven. Dr. Sinclair is upset that he didn't bring Greenlee and says they have to get to the bottom of Annie's crimes so she can be punished! Ryan leaves and nearly runs into Aidan, talking to his doctor. Aidan hides. Ryan tells Aidan's doctor that he wants to make a complaint about Dr. Sinclair!

JR and Amanda go to ConFusion and she tells him she didn't have an abortion! She says the baby is his but he isn't ready for another child. "It's not like we're in love or anything," she says, insisting that neither of them is the right parent. She says she'll have the baby but might give it up for adoption. He leaves. Jake comes in and sits with Amanda. He tells her about his bar-hopping and she says she wishes she could join him. He realizes she hasn't had the abortion. He asks about David and it is clear that Amanda is afraid David is the father.

Reese takes Zach to Kendall's room. He hesitates outside but she pulls him into the room. He tells her about the times he would just listen to Kendall's heart as she played with his hair. He wonders if things will be different now. He goes inside finally and lays his head on Kendall's chest. Bianca arrives. Zach turns to them, relieved that her heart sounds the same as always. Erica watches from the hall.
