• Kendall overhears Babe & Josh discussing his alibi and their relationship..
• Dixie frightens Annie with her announcement that Emma is her daughter.
Annie grabs Emma and rushes out of the restaurant, confused and worried over Dixie's outburst. A weeping Dixie begs Ryan to help her get Kate back. Tad tells him about the DNA proof, and Ryan is astounded and disbelieving. David, sitting at a table in the corner overhears all of this.
Tad reminds Dixie that it's not fair to scare Emma, and she's suddenly aghast at her behavior, and begs Tad to apologize to Annie for her. She rushes out of the restaurant. David comes out—and reminds her that she has to keep believing that Emma is Kate—didn't she see it in her eyes?
Ryan accuses Tad of setting up Dixie. Tad tells him that Emma might be his daughter, and asks if Annie has ever mentioned adoption. Tad agrees that he doesn't trust David either, but asks for Ryan's help in doing another DNA test.
At the Miranda Montgomery Center, a rattled Annie talks to Krystal and asks her to call her if Emma has any problems today.
Dixie and David show up there, and she tells Krystal the story. Krystal allows Dixie to talk to Emma. David tells Dixie that "he'll be the one who gave Dixie back her life."
At school, Colby is angry at Sean, who's made it clear that he no longer interested in her. Colby accuses Sydney of causing Sean to drop her. Sydney insists she's the one who protected Colby, and accuses her of being promiscuous. Colby says she didn't sleep with Josh, and that the only person she's slept with is Sean.
At home, Krystal talks with JR and insists that it's his hatred for Josh that makes him a "perfect target" and that Colby is protecting Sean and taking attention away from Krystal's pregnancy. JR demands to know why she and Babe are so determined to protect Josh.
JR disagrees, but is convinced by Krystal that Babe may be protecting Josh because she always goes for the underdog.
Zach is sitting morosely at his desk, and doesn't respond to anything Di says to him. Myrtle comes in, and he offers her a drink. He tells her he'll be a free man soon—that's what Kendall wants. She reminds him that Kendall loves him, but it's hard for her to face the dark parts of Myrtle. Why doesn't he let her talk to Kendall for him?
Kendall overhears Babe promise Josh "not to tell." Josh proclaims his love for Babe, but she doesn't have an answer, since she loves both of them. She says she can't let him go to prison—but he won't let her defend him to Adam. Just then—Kendall confronts them. She urges Babe to leave her brother alone—even though Josh tells her to stay out of it. Babe slaps her across the face. She also admits she'd love to stick it to JR…who walks in at that moment. It gets even uglier, and JR lashes out at Kendall and Josh. Babe urges him to stop and they rush out.
Kendall refuses to back off, and Josh refuses to listen to anything she says. She's more interested in getting back at JR than truly helping him.
In the empty club, Babe accuses JR of being willing to take Josh down for something he didn't do. He angrily asks about doing it for something Josh did do.
Later in the day, Colby accuses Sydney of stalking her and wanting to have her life. Sydney tells her to get over herself.
