    Trust You?

    Monday, May 27 2013
Miranda doesn't want to choose between Bianca and AJ, David makes Dr. Martin an offer, and Zach wants to partner with Lea.

At Jane's, Bianca invites Miranda to dinner with Zach later when she gets called to work. She offers to let Miranda stay with Opal while she's gone. Miranda believes staying at the Chandler's makes more sense and they argue about the night Marissa died. Bianca promises to work on her feelings.

AJ considers taking steroids in his room. Meanwhile, Cara helps JR with therapy downstairs. She asks for his trust. He quips about how he could trust someone he barely knows. She reminds him she trusts him with her life. Before she leaves he confesses to trusting her. Cara asks Dixie to keep him from over doing it. Later AJ finds JR looking at the steroids on his bed. AJ gets defensive. Miranda overhears them arguing on her way to the guest room. JR admits believing he didn't use and apologizes. He asks AJ to believe he's not the same man. AJ can't when his own grandfather doesn't believe JR. AJ finds Miranda downstairs and they leave.

Joe Martin offers David five minutes outside of his office before calling security. David pitches something he's researched in prison that will make the hospital famous. Joe refuses the hospital's assistance or to give David an endorsement. David calls him a fool and bumps into Cara when leaving. He claims he's there wasting his time when she inquires after him. He asks about her hypocrisy trying to save a child after killing hers. Later, Joe finds Cara alone crying in the locker room and offers help. She confesses there's a boy in Puerto Rico with her mom.

Lea's interrupted by a disturbance outside her office and invites agent Lockland and Zach in. Zach doesn't want her to blame Lockland for losing him. He threatens he could disappear if he really wanted to. Zach makes a plea to be on the same side and partner with her. She reminds him that he's a suspect. Zach tries to change her mind and they visit the strip club website together. She helps him break a passcode to access exclusive content. He wants it turned off when he sees Cassandra in a violent video. Zach doesn't want to tell the parents until they find Cassandra.

Cassandra's alone in her room when Uri throws the blond in and grabs her. He's not happy after learning about Jesse and tells her she's a dangerous piece of merchandise. Cassandra begs Uri not to kill her and promises to do anything. He tells her she will be sold and will disappear. Outside he makes a call planning to handle things tonight. Inside Cassandra worries about leaving the country when Vlad comes in for her.

    Good morning everyone
How do you all like this new AMC?

Posted by fromthestart at Tuesday, May 28 2013 11:58 AM

TipsyTess.....In answer to your question. School of thought seems to be out at this time. The arrival of AMC was received with enthusiasm in the FROM household. However we (in our house) find ourselves about 1- 2 weeks behind in watching. Partly I suppose due to other TV season finales and other TV/movies available for entertainment. We do have HULU PLUS so the show is there when we want to watch, but we haven't had an inclination to do so. We have so many other shows/movies recorded that we don't seem to have time to watch AMC. I also notice that there are VERY FEW comments unlike the "old days" when there was ALWAYS debate concerning David, Tad, etc. Too bad -but as someone mentioned awhile back (one of the VERY FEW comments) that maybe we have all moved on more than we thought.

Does that answer your question ? Heck I'm not even sure I understand my answer....

Hi From and Tipsy...I share your surprise at the lack of posts. I continue to be pleased with how the show is developing. I really like the AJ/Miranda duo. Regardless of whether they hook up or not, the two actors have a good rapport and given they were born the same day and have had complicated, intertwined lives in Pine Valley ever since, there is a ton of potential here. My hope that David would have mellowed apparently isn't in the cards, but seeing as he spent five years in jail I can understand his bitterness.

So far Dixie has been mostly wallpaper...I hope they'll be writing a story for her but if it's true that they are treading water until Michael Knight can return as Tad, maybe that's the best they can do. Still, you have to figure she'll cross paths with Billy Clyde Tuggle. That's one of my big disappointments, actually. I used to love to hate BCT back when he was tormenting Estelle and even Dixie, but now the actor doesn't seem to know his lines or cues...he's been stumbling through every scene and it's becoming annoying.

I hope they wrap up the Cassandra story NOW. It's uncomfortable to watch and I frankly skip those scenes. Like Celia and Peter...not sure where they are going with the scary visions/dreams she is having, but then it can't be all sunshine and lollipops for everyone in PV, can it?

I meant "I like Celia and Peter" but it reads as though I was comparing them to how I skip Cassandra's scenes. Still trying to figure out who her "guardian" could be.
