Zoe attends her first support group; Kendall learns she is pregnant. Babe makes a tough decision.
At the hospital, Zoe attends her first transgender support group meeting. The other group members are surprised that "Zarf" is joining the group but are accepting. Zoe sits back and listens as the group members introduce themselves, as she hears their stories Zoe sees a part of herself in the different men and women. She explains that she created Zarf to hide her real self. Jenny, the group leader, asks why Zoe didn't think she was lovable. Zoe talks about dressing up in her mother's clothes and her father ripping them off of her. That relationship made her afraid of how others would react to her. Jenny begins talking about the support system that they will all need though the process. Zoe talks about Bianca's support. "Maybe it is love that will help us become who we are," Jenny says. The group dismisses and Zoe comes out to talk to Bianca. "For the first time in my life I realize I'm not alone," she says.
At the Chandler mansion, Krystal suspects that JR has something up his sleeve when he asks if she will consider him a son. He offers to keep her secret, to do anything she wants as long as Krystal will accept him into her life, but she is leery of him. JR tries to convince her that he is completely serious. "Why can't we trust each other, for our family?" he asks. Surprising her, JR says he is going to appoint Krystal as a guardian over little A. He tells her he will need her help to fight through Adam's actions toward the boy. Krystal reaches out to him, seeing how he really feels. There is only one problem - Tad. JR doesn't know how to deal with Tad and his connection to Charlotte.
In the sub-basement, Babe continues to wrestle with Josh's plan to run and fake little A's kidnapping to get away from JR. At the door, Erica is eavesdropping. Babe wants a fresh start, but she can't imagine leaving her mother or taking little A from JR. Josh, however, seems to have no problem with leaving his family behind. Erica can't believe what she is hearing but instead of confronting them, she leaves the building. "This is your last chance to call your own shot," Josh says. Krystal arrives, telling them that she covered for little A's slip up the night before. She stuns Babe with JR's apparent change of heart. Before she can react, Josh suggests this is the perfect opportunity for them! They should leave Krystal in the dark about when the kidnapping will take place so that she can deny any knowledge to JR. With his change of heart, Josh believes a real reaction from Krystal will keep JR from turning on her. "I'm in if you want," Krystal says before asking Josh to leave. "You don’t want to run," Krystal says when they are alone. She realizes that Babe is only considering running to protect Krystal from Adam's fury. Krystal tells Babe she is telling Adam the truth and she will deal with the consequences! "The more I think about it, the only way that I will ever be free of JR is to disappear," Babe says, stopping her mother. Crying, Babe makes her decision - to leave with Josh! Krystal holds her for a moment as she cries and then quickly leaves the room. Josh comes back, asking Babe what her decision is. She tells him she is ready to run.
Across town, JR brings little Adam to see Tad at his office. Tad ignores them and continues playing pinball. JR won't be ignored, though, and good naturedly pokes fun at the fact that Tad plays pinball instead of real video games. After a minute, Tad gives in and begins playing with little A. Having fun, he takes JR and little A for ice cream. Later, they arrive at the Chandler manse with ice cream dripping from their faces. Tad realizes that JR is trying to distract him from his sadness. JR admits it and tells him that he is only trying to help. "What do you say you help me out and I help you out?" JR asks. Tad agrees as Erica walks in. She tells them to sit down because she has big news. "Babe is alive," she says, leaving the men in shock!
At the police station, Zach comes face to face with Alexander. "You will never be free," Alexander tells him. He calls Zach a selfish coward, but Zach isn't listening. "You can't guilt me into submission any longer," Zach says, because he knows what real love is now. Turning, Zach leaves his father in chains. Sitting alone in the station, Alexander ponders what has happened.
At home, Kendall is about to jump out of her skin - the pregnancy test is positive! Bianca arrives and Kendall shares the news. Binks can't believe it. Both are very excited. Kendall sees the pregnancy as a gift - after all of the hard times, this is her reward! She is excited to tell Zach. Nervous because he will be home soon, Kendall asks Bianca what she should wear to tell him about the baby. He arrives before she can do anything and Bianca makes a quick exit. Kendall reaches into a bag and hands a curious Zach a cigar. Zach isn't sure what is going on but plays along with Kendall as she drops words like "cravings", "expecting" and "delivery". She tells him she wants a bigger house but a a messenger arrives with an envelope before she can share the news. Zach opens the envelope and explodes in anger!
