In the final network episode before "All My Children" migrates online, everyone gathers to celebrate at the Chandler mansion, as JR lurks and a gun goes off.
Marian cries as she reunites with Stuart at the hospital. Scott looks on and then tells his dad he loves him. He leaves them alone, as Stuart calls Marian his Queen of Hearts and kisses her.
At the mansion, Adam is elated that Stuart is alive. Brooke says, "And now, so are you." Adam thinks the empty house is more depressing than the hospital. He wants to leave, but Brooke has a surprise for him: She bought the house back. She says, "Welcome home." Scott shows up and puts up Stuart's painting. Colby is there as well and says they need to throw a party since Adam, Brooke and Stuart are back. Adam calls Winifred who's thrilled to see Mr. Chandler. He tells her to unpack the boxes and pop the champagne. They're having a party!
At the station, Cara and Angie plead David's case to Jesse. Cara tells him second chances are important, especially after David brought loved ones back. Jesse isn't going for it, but Liza shows up and relays that Stuart called his friend the judge to get David out on bail. David shares a nice moment with Angie, who sings his praises about bringing Stuart back. Jesse joins in to give a stunned David credit.
At the house Opal and Erica discover Jack's clothes and toothbrush are gone. Opal pleads with Erica to realize Pine Valley is her home and Hollywood can wait. Kit comes to the door wondering if Erica is ready to make movie magic. Opal makes a last ditch appeal to Erica to not lose Jack over this. She tells Erica that the Chandlers are having a party because Stuart is alive. Jack will be there. Erica runs up the stairs to change because she knows Jack won't be able to resist her.
Jack saddles up to the bar at Krystal's. He tells Krystal he and Erica are finally over.
Jamie sees JR at the airport. JR thinks he's back because he thinks Babe is alive. JR coldly declares Babe is dead. JR says he's leaving town, but he will be back. Jamie is glad Babe isn't there to see him like this. It would break her heart. Dixie and Tad catch up with JR and tell him Stuart is alive. JR thinks they are lying or it's one of David's head games. He won't fall for it. JR is ugly with Dixie, blaming her for screwing him up, not Adam. He tells Dixie to stay out of his life, but Dixie doesn't want to lose him. He says she already has and walks away. Dixie cries, as Tad promises her that JR will be back. Tad gets a message about the Chandler party. He thinks they need to remember they still have a lot to celebrate. Later, JR decides not to take his flight, saying, "I've got a party to crash."
Everyone gathers at the Chandler mansion. Even Jamie returns because he's worried about JR. Angie notices that Randi is glowing. She admits to her husband, Jesse, and Angie that she might be pregnant. Meanwhile, Zach and Griffin attempt niceties as Kendall intervenes to say she's glad David is out of their lives. David shows up looking for Adam. JR lurks in the secret tunnel, as Erica and Opal show up and see Jack talking to Krystal. JR pulls out his gun as Adam and the room toast to Pine Valley. Erica asks to talk to Jack alone, as David finds Adam. David is snarky, as Adam doesn’t know how to thank him. David says cash is always a good start. Adam wonders what he's up to, but gives him money anyway. Bianca and Marissa show up after getting a text message. They think it was from Scott, but he denies it.
Dixie finds David upstairs. She demands to know who his other patient is. David says she wouldn't believe him even if he told her.
In another room, Erica tells Jack she's arranged for him to come to L.A. with her. She says they can have every single night together. Jack wants family and marriage. He doesn't want to sit alone while she chases her dreams. She thinks they share their dreams because they love each other. She is committed to him and no one else. He knows she doesn’t want to get married. Erica admits it. She doesn’t want to rush into a marriage just to make him feel better. He wishes her luck of the rest of her life without him. He leaves the room as Erica chases him.
Meanwhile, Tad gives a toast and says it's all about neighbors, family and friends. He's found all of them in Pine Valley. It's been his home. The best years of his life. No matter what, family and "all my children" are always with him. Adam wants to add something to the festivities and proposes to Brooke. She happily says yes. Erica runs after Jack through the crowd. She begs him not to go because she needs him. Frankly, Jack doesn't give a damn what she needs and walks away. JR points his gun at the crowd, as Erica runs after Jack. A gunshot goes of.
