Zach helps Ryan and Greenlee, Bianca and Kendall bond and JR kisses Annie.
Greenlee and Ryan panic in the shack as they hear sirens circling them. Zach enters and tells them he will lead them to a small airstrip so they can look for Nick. Zach starts to exit the shack, but says it's too late because the cops are there. Ryan and Greenlee hide as the cops question Zach about Greenlee. Zach puts them off and then takes off with Ryan and Greenlee.
Ryan, Greenlee and Zach go to a cave on an island and Zach leaves to go back to the plane. Outside the cave, Zach reads the letter from Kendall that says she wants him. Always. Only him. Back inside, Ryan assures Greenlee this will be over soon. He kisses her and heads out to look for Nick. He returns but didn’t find any evidence of Nick on the island. Ryan builds a fire, they talk about their relationship and kiss. She thinks maybe they should wait until after the trial, but Ryan can't wait and doesn’t think she can either. They kiss again and fall back on the ground.
Bianca drops by Kendall's to hang out with her sister. Kendall informs Bianca she has ordered pizza and she has a ton of reality TV on tap for them to watch. Bianca first asks Kendall if she's okay and Kendall responds that as soon as Zach left, she felt lonely. Bianca knows Zach is helping Greenlee and that he did it because of how much he loves her. The conversation turns towards Bianca's life and Kendall wonders why her sister is there without her wife. Bianca loves Reese as much as the day they got married, but she can't give up her family. Bianca wonders what makes Zach her soulmate and Kendall tells her she wasn't a person in full before him. They are a part of each other. Bianca says she loves Reese and is in love with her, but her soulmates are Kendall and Erica – the Kane women. Kendall gets a call from Zach who is now in a room somewhere. He tells her he found Ryan and Greenlee and they should be flying home tomorrow with evidence to free Greenlee. He tells her he read her note. She meant every single word. He believes her and says what he wants is her. Kendall is grateful he's helping Greenlee, but she wants him home. They express how deep their love is and Zach promises to be home as soon as he can.
In JR's office, Annie explains how she's been talking to all the news outlets about Caleb's misdeeds and JR's good ones as a father. JR appreciates everything she's done for him. The phone rings and they both reach for it. They share a sexually charged moment and then JR answers the phone to someone who already hung up. Annie thinks she should work in a different office so people won't talk and it won't be used in the custody battle. He agrees, but then pulls her in for a kiss. Colby walks in and ribs her brother for making out with Annie, while the latter tends to a phone call. JR asks Colby about Asher and she accuses him of using him again. JR defends his position and they discuss the situation. JR leaves and Colby says she doesn't think Caleb is the biggest threat to JR – Annie is. Annie defends herself and then pitches a campaign focusing on the next generation of Chandler – Colby and Asher. Colby doesn't like the idea and gets catty again about all the Chandler men Annie has been with. Annie turns it around on her suggesting she has feelings for Asher. Colby gets flustered and leaves, as Annie chuckles to herself.
At Wildwind, Caleb asks Asher to stick around, but Asher remains caustic towards his father. Caleb asks him to move into the house so they can get to know each other, but Asher tells him he already has a place to stay. Caleb wonders what the family who raised him said about him. Asher relays that they told him nothing so he did his own research and found out about the mine. He knows things weren't good between Caleb and his mother, but wonders how bad it was for him to get rid of her. Caleb remains silent and Asher tries to storm out, but he trips because of his injured leg. Caleb asks what happened to him and Asher reveals the scar he got when he came to see him. He explains how he tried to prove everyone wrong about Caleb when he was a kid and headed to his mountaintop, but it was raining and he fell. Asher asks Caleb if he killed his mother. Caleb doesn't answer and then JR barges in to help Asher out of the house. Caleb wants Asher to stay so they can continue their conversation, but Asher is ready to go. JR says he will take him to the mansion, where he belongs. Caleb tells Asher he's a fool to trust JR, but Asher is done talking to him. Alone, Caleb wonders aloud to Palmer how he is supposed to be a father to Asher when he hates him.
Colby rushes into the mansion upset by Annie's words. She sees Asher and learns he will be living there.
JR returns to the office and Annie tells him Colby is right – she's not good for him right now. He responds when he's with her, it feels like the best thing in the world. He kisses her, but she backs away. She doesn’t want to be the reason he loses his son.
