    Eakes & Moyal (Martin Ryter)
    Actor updates for February 20 – 26.

With Prospect Park starting production on the "All My Children" reboot on February 25, there has been a lot of casting activity to report. Not only has Julia Barr signed on to reprise Brooke English, but a couple of other popular actors have also joined the new venture. There's life outside "AMC" as well, as a couple other soap alums have a few projects in the works.

Adam Mayfield on The Client List:
Mayfield (ex-Scott) joins "AMC" alum Colin Egglesfield (ex-Josh) on Lifetime's "The Client List." No word yet on who he'll play or when his guest starring episode will air. Stay tuned!

    Cameron Mathison in The Surrogate:
Per Soaps in Depth, Mathison (ex-Ryan) will next be seen in the Lifetime movie "The Surrogate." Also starring Annie Wersching (ex-Amelia, "General Hospital"), the movie centers on a couple who use a surrogate in order to start their family. The surrogate turns out to be a bit unstable however, which is where the drama comes in. "The Surrogate" will air at 8:00 PM EST on March 2.

    Bobbie Eakes in P.S.S:

Eakes (ex-Krystal) is busy working on a pilot with the working title "P.S.S." in Palm Springs. In addition to Eakes, the project stars four other Daytime stars who interact with Israeli actor Yaniv Moyal ("Why Did I Get Married Too?"). Eakes plays a woman married to a powerful man, but seduces the handyman (Moyal), who eventually gains more control inside the house and over Eakes' character.

    Susan Lucci on The View:
Lucci (Erica) stopped by to talk with the ladies of "The View" and guest co-host Brooke Shields to discuss "AMC" online and her new series "Devious Maids." Take a look.

    Eden Riegel back to AMC:

Riegel is returning to the role of Bianca for a short stint on the online version of "AMC." She tweeted her thanks to the fans for their support:

With Riegel back in the role, that means Christina Bennett Lind, who took over in 2010 until the network end of the soap, is out. However, she tweeted her support of Riegel:

Jill Larson's behind the scenes video:
Larson (Opal) shared some behind the scenes videos leading up to the first day of filming the online version of "All My Children." Take a look at the AMC sets being built four days from the start of production.

    Rob Wilson to AMC:
The first male model on "The Price is Right," Rob Wilson, has joined "All My Children" as Pete Cortlandt. Wilson has also been seen in the movies "Bride Wars," "Surrogates," "Friends With Benefits" and "The Social Network." His TV credits include guest starring roles on "Entourage," "Melissa and Joey," "Greek" and "Make It or Break It."

Ray MacDonnell back as Joe Martin:

Paos Revolution broke the news that Ray Mac Donnell will be reprising his role as the Martin patriarch.

    More casting news:
Soap Opera Network is reporting more casting info. Ryan Bittle ("Sweet Valley High") has been cast as JR Chandler, Eric Nelson ("iCarly") will play AJ Chandler and Sal Stowers ("America's Next Top Model") is Cassandra Foster. While Jordan Lane Price ("Barking At Trees") has been thought to be cast as a SORASed Miranda, Soap Opera Network is reporting that she will now play a new character, while Denyse Tontz ("Big Time Rush") will step into the role of Bianca's eldest daughter. Time will tell which is the case.

    AMC fun fact:

Jill Larson took over the role of Opal in 1989 from Dorothy Lyman, who originated the character in 1981 and played her until 1984. The actresses also have a connection outside of Pine Valley: They went to high school together in Minneapolis.

I have missed my Pine Valley family!!! ♥
I am so looking forward to the return of AMC, even if it is online...it's better than not having it at all! I have been watching the reruns airing on Soapnet since the end. Any idea when it's scheduled to air???

Haven't seen an airdate yet. But they just started filming this past week. Not too long now!
