    Actor updates for January 9 – 15.

    More encouraging news regarding "AMC's" move online came out this week. In addition, there's lots of buzz surrounding former Pine Valleyites' moves to Showtime, Lifetime, the big screen and the stage.

    Ambyr Childers' Ray Donovan premiere date set:

    Showtime's new series starring Childers (ex-Colby) will premiere on June 30. The show about a Hollywood fixer, played by Liev Schreiber ("Salt"), will air after "Dexter" at 10:00 PM EST.

    Michael B. Jordan in Are We Officially Dating:

    "AMC's" former Reggie will next star in "Are We Officially Dating?" The movie, also starring Zac Efron ("The Paperboy") and Imogen Poots ("Jane Eyre"), is about three NYC friends who make a pact to have fun while staying single, just as they all fall in love.

    Cameron Mathison in Home Again:
    The ABC Family movie "Home Again" will reunite Mathison (ex-Ryan) with his former "Dancing with the Stars" competitor Jennie Garth (ex-Kelly, "90210"). Read about it in's Reality TV Rush.

    Jesse McCartney cast on Army Wives:
    Kim Delaney (ex-Jenny) was a series regular on "Army Wives" and J.R. Martinez (ex-Brot) and Susan Lucci (ex-Erica) both guest starred. Now, fellow "AMC" alum Jesse McCartney (ex-JR) is heading to the Lifetime series. He will recur in the upcoming season as a soldier out to prove himself on his first tour.

    Vilasuso (Starbux/
    Alicia Minshew in Here and Now:
    Minshew (ex-Kendall) has been cast in the movie about a failed actor who returns to his hometown. While there, he is hired to direct his terminally ill best friend's play at the local community theatre.

    Brianne Moncrief in How We Got Away With It:

    Childers isn't the only former Colby who is in a new project. Brianne Moncrief stars in the Jon Lindstrom (Kevin, "General Hospital") written, directed and produced film about the fallout from a tragedy during a friends reunion weekend.     Sam Page and Aiden Turner in In The Dark:
    Lifetime brought former "AMC" stars Sam Page (ex-Trey) and Aiden Turner (ex-Aidan) together in the movie "In The Dark." The film is about a woman who tries to rebuild her life after an accident that kills her husband and child and leaves her blind. She hires a male nurse for assistance, but he turns out to be an obsessive stalker. The movie that premiered last week, also stars Elizabeth Rohm ("The Client List"), Shannon Elizabeth ("American Pie") and Patrick Muldoon (ex-Austin, "Days of our Lives"). "In The Dark" will air again on February 23 and 24. Take a behind the scenes look in the video below.

    Michelle Trachtenberg on Criminal Minds:
    "AMC's" ex-Lily will guest star on the CBS procedural on January 16. Read about her episode in's Primetime TV Spoilers.

    Jordi Vilasuso signs on for AMC online:
    Dr. Griffin Castillo will be seen roaming the halls of Pine Valley Hospital again. Jordi Vilasuso announced on Twitter that he is the latest "AMC" alum to sign on for the online venture. Read more at Prospect Park to Migrate AMC & OLTL Online.

    Walt Willey in Love Letters:
    Willey (ex-Jack) will appear in the Island Theater Company's production of A.R. Gurney's "Love Letters." The play is about two people who have corresponded through letters for 50 years. "Love Letters" runs January 30 – February 3 at the Rose History Auditorium in Marco Island, FL.

    AMC Fun Fact:
    Jesse McCartney performed a duet of "Don't Go Breaking My Heart" on the "Ella Enchanted" soundtrack in 2004 with Anne Hathaway, who just won a Golden Globe for her performance of Fantine in "Les Miserables."
