"You can call me Chef."
Justin Bruening (ex-Jamie) will soon be seen in the ABC Family series "Switched At Birth." A common soap opera plot device, the show revolves around two teenage girls who learn they were, you guessed it, switched at birth. The girls and their families struggle with their differences while getting to know each other.
Bruening will play a chef who begrudgingly hires Daphne (Katie LeClerc), one of the girls switched at birth and who is deaf. Even though he's much older, their initial hostility apparently turns to romance and he becomes her new love interest.
The new season of "Switched at Birth" premieres September 3 at 8:00 PM EST. Take a look at a scene from their first meeting below.
