Week Six for AMC's Susan Lucci on Dancing With The Stars!

Tuesday, October 28 2008

Susan and Tony Mambo!! (Soaps.com)
Update:
Tuesday October 28

The results are in, fans, and the feelings are mixed. Once more, Susan and Tony were in the bottom two for the night. Joining Susan and Tony was the team of Cloris and Corky, who had the lowest scores of Monday night's show.

But, the good news is that Susan and Tony received just enough votes to stick around - Team Cloris was voted out!

What will happen next week? Well, it will certainly be fast-paced for Susan because next week the couples begin learning and dancing two numbers for the judges! That will be a tough job, but Soaps.com wishes Susan and Tony the very best of luck!

Until next week, fans!

Monday October 27

Welcome to Susan Lucci's (Erica Kane) sixth week on the reality hit "Dancing With The Stars"! During the first four weeks we have seen Susan's dance routines steadily improve – but that wasn't enough and last week, Susan was in the bottom two with Toni Braxton. You can read all about Susan's past performances here.

Fortunately, Susan received more votes than Toni and continues to dance but it won't be easy.

For week five, the show turned things around and gave the stars two dances to learn. One with their partner and the other a group dance – a hip hop routine – where all of the contestants dance at the same time. Also new this week was another judge. With Len away, Michael "Lord of the Dance" Flatley took over as a guest judge.

To help Susan relax – and keep her from further injuring her fractured foot – Tony took Susan out on the town with All My Children cronies Cameron Mathison (Ryan Lavery) and Ricky Paull Goldin (Jake Martin) to a Mambo club. All of that relaxed practice really helped Susan and dance partner Tony Dovolani dance their "DWTS" Mambo and boy did it look hot! Carrie Ann loved it and so did judge Bruno.

"Finally we're seeing the fire, but the timing was off!" Bruno said. Carrie Ann disagreed and so did Michael but Bruno insisted he was right.

Michael Flatley said, "You are the epitome of grace and beauty and it's nice to see you having some fun! Don't change who you are because you did a brilliant job!"

The judges gave Susan and Tony a total of 23 points, which is good, but let's remember to vote fans! If we want to keep Susan and Tony around, we'll have to hit the phones and online voting areas. Let's get to it!

I love Susan Lucci, however, she will not make it all the way through. After last night that Cloris Leachman was eliminated, I believe Susan will be eliminated next week. The others are much better.

I don't watch AMC, but I also like Susan. I think she dances well and masters the moves and look beautiful while doing it. HOWEVER, if she wants to go to the next level, she will need to dance less daintily....she needs to commit to the dance, not just mentally (I know she works hard!) but physically. She needs to not just placer her arm here, and put her foot there.....instead we need to see the strong passion behind and in each move! LIke, don't just take small polite sips of your glass of water...chug it down all at once because you're thirsty! Allow yourself to open up to the audience so that they can see the deep intense passion that comes from your deepest core, susan, and commit to each move because it expresses this passsion for each dance that u undertake.

I don't know if u read these boards but, regardless, good luck!!!!

d

Good luck!
